• Acting for Two: Many actors did it, since the shape-shifting villains often turn into other characters. Among the particularly impressive ones are Alexey Fomkin (acting for three in the climactic sequence – Kolya Gerasimov and both of the pirates), Maria Sternikova (first as a sweet, gentle, fun-loving hospital nurse, then as Rat pretending to be the former), and Ekaterina Vasilyeva (first as a good-humored Reasonable Authority Figure teacher, then as Rat pretending to be her).
• Fan Sequel: Гостья из будущего-2 (Guest From The Future 2), in which a now-teenaged Alisa comes from the future and asks Kolya to help her fight Harry Potter, who is in fact a robot from the future who came to the beginning of the 21st century to stupefy people. They fight Harry Potter, destroy his transmitter, and then fix the world by driving a Cool Car Time Machine that returns things to the way they were in the 1980s. See it here.
• Real Life Writes the Plot: The casting of Natalia Guseva as Alisa led to changes in the script, because the script was initially written with the tall, energetic, sporty book!Alice in mind. For example, the volleyball game got replaced with long jumps.
• What Could Have Been: The early version of the script got posted online (during Bulychev's lifetime and with his permission), and it is sometimes drastically different from the final result (there is a Broken Base on which of the changes were for the better). Among other things, it includes: a more detailed, Scenery Porn version of the Cosmozoo, a less human-looking Werther, a chess match where Rat is revealed to be a chess enthusiast, and a much more detailed final scene with Lucretia (Polina's name in the draft) comforting the children and praising their heroic actions.
