Dr. Morris: Let me ask you a question, young man. Do you believe in evil? The kind that revels in the destruction of the world and of mankind with it? The kind of evil that thrives on the pain, suffering, and sorrow of innocents?
(several missions later)
Will: Dr. Morris once asked me if I believed in evil. In people who felt glad the world was destroyed. Now I know they exist. I'm looking at one.
Will regarding Caulder, Advance Wars: Days of Ruin

"I wanted to bring out the hatred in you. That's why I called Mizuki to Bloom Park. That's why I streamed Iris's murder. Because they were important to you, weren't they? I wanted you to feel cornered, trapped. I wanted to punish you, Kaname Date!"
Saito Sejima explaining his choice of victims, AI: The Somnium Files

"Oh, but don't worry. Like I told you earlier, my plan is to kill Iris and Hitomi in front of you. So, I can't be killing you right away. You will watch them die, and then you will follow in their footsteps. You should be honored."

Neb the Gnome: Heh, sure, sure, everyone's wanting out, but does the world really want us out? Maybe it's safer if we all just stay in here, heh... Monster to monster now, murderer to murderer, how many little children passed away at old Neb's hands? Not one, not two, neither four nor seven nor twelve nor twenty but the next one, the next one in the sequence...
Gorion's Ward: You killed thirty-three children, Neb... May the gods and all their solars wreak their vengeance.
Neb the Gnome: Let the solars come and I shall kill them too! In a world without justice, the gods are little more than a divine puppet show.

The Joker: What are you waiting for? Come on! I killed your girlfriend, poisoned Gotham, and hell... it's not even breakfast. But so what? We all know you'll save me.
Batman: Every decision you've ever made ends with death and misery. People die. I stop you. You'll just break out and do it again.
Joker [chuckles] Think of it as a running gag!

"I prepared for muggers, killers, thieves. Criminals, increasingly extreme in their methods and personality. But I never imagined someone like "The Joker". There is no information on him in any criminal base. As far as records go, it's as if he stepped out of thin air. He appears to be a highly resourceful psychopath with a sadistic intelligence, who delights in causing chaos, destruction and human suffering. Skilled with explosives and firearms. He displays personality traits consistent with criminal insanity, though his mental instability did not hinder his ability to take over Black Mask's criminal organization. His capacity for wanton destruction makes him a threat to the entire city. He must be stopped."

"Remnants of Gotham, I have messages for you all. To the vandals who stayed behind to pick the still warm flesh from Gotham's bones: Have your fun. You are under my protection. To the cowards quaking behind the police department's walls: You will not be spared. And to Batman: I have already won. Emptied your city with a vial of toxin and a few threatening words. That's how little the safety you provided was worth. And when the dawn comes...when Gotham lies in ruins and I turn my gaze to the world beyond...the legend of the Batman will be worth nothing at all."
Jonathan Crane, aka The Scarecrow, Batman: Arkham Knight

"January 1
Happy New Year, diary. I feel melancholy. The old dates hold no magic anymore. My New Year's resolution is to find new occasions to celebrate.
January 21
I feel reborn. Today I celebrated National hugging Day for the first time. I went to Elliot Memorial Hospital, covered myself in infected blood, and visited the children's ward.
February 2
Happy Groundhog day! My new house guest and I are going to watch the stream from Punxsutawney together. If the rodent predicts an early spring, I'll let my new friend go. But if the groundhog retreats to his burrow, I'll bury my guest alive.
June 5
World Environment Day, a worthy, important cause. I passed this message onto a class of schoolchildren by forcing them to drink ACE Chemicals runoff. They won't pollute now.
September 19
Dear Diary. Happy International Talk Like a Pirate Day! Today I cut off a man's leg and nailed a wooden peg in its place. He couldn't walk the plank. Very disappointing. Checked on my scurvy victim but she wasn't ready. Next year.
September 21
Happy World Peace Day. I left bombs at the Quraci embassy."
— The diary of Julian Day/Calendar Man, Batman: Arkham Knight

Jeremy: Tell me, why don't you want to return the seal to its rightful place?
The First Paladin: RETURN the seal? I WILL DESTROY her and unleash a Flood that Noah never dreamed of!
Jeremy: But why, paladin? You will kill millions of people!
Paladin: And will return the survivors to the fold of the church. People have lost faith. Then instill the fear of God in their souls!
Jeremy: Rome is ready to sacrifice the lives of thousands - no, millions? In order to revive faith in people? This is madness!
Paladin: There is no faith without sacrifice. You are a vampire. You can't understand.

"Today, the Front embarks on a conquest. Here and now, we will eradicate the authority and influence of the Earth! Our world is just beginning. Theirs is dying! It is not enough to break free. We will break them! Their cities will burn along with the pages of their history."
Admiral Salen Kotch, Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare

"Impressive. I see that you have found your way here, and that your little helper managed to bring you through safely. It is a shame then, that you have come all this way to stand in my realm, just to die. I tried to be gracious... tried to give you a less agonizing death, but you persist. Now, you will suffer a torment unending. I am Death Incarnate! I am the ruler in this realm! And if you will not die for me willingly, then I shall see death forced upon you!"
Tammy Arcanus/Diabolique, City of Heroes, "Dilemma Diabolique Incarnate Trial".

Father Paul Rawlings: Governor Vicus! We've been sent to release you from this prison! Let us go so that we can complete our mission and end the nightmare for you. For all of you!
Vicus: Release me? Release me!? Why would I want you to do that? We have found Elysium, have we not? Where we can feast and fuck and kill, and find no consequences? We are not prisoners here! This is freedom, absolute! And you my welcome visitors, are sports. Let the game begin!
Governor Cassus Vicus refusing the offer to move on from the purgatory, Clive Barker's Jericho

"You were content to simply rule over space and time, but I'd rather start from scratch. Erase it all. Wipe the slate clean. I'm going to reset the timeline and rebuild it to my liking. I will become a god. Which means YOU won't exist, and neither will those featherbrained masks, or those meddling marsupials! Hahahahaha!"
Dr. Nefarious Tropy revealing his true intentions to Dr. Neo Cortex, Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time.

Ayush: When Sunil told me about his research, I knew. The virus would kill millions and free up the planet for those who managed to survive!
Jack: Do you even know how to stop the plague you unleashed? Do you have any idea for the cure? A backup plan? Anything??
Ayush: The cure? No, why would I? My work is already complete!
Jack: What? You unleashed a virus you didn't even know how to stop?! Just the sight of you makes me sick!
Ayush Patil to Jack Archer about his genocidal plan, Plagued By Death of the Criminal Case series

Faithful, enlightened, ambitious brethren. In but a single decade, a few mere swipes of the pendulum, we have gathered a sacrifice to Khorne that will be made legend.
Though it was a simpler, weaker voice that illuminated me during my centuries upon the Judgement of Carrion, it was Khorne's messenger who showed me the true path of freedom from our pathetic corpse-Emperor.
And what is this path? This meaning, this purpose to which we gather the skulls of our foes?
It is nothing.
There is no meaning, no purpose. We murder, we kill. It is mindless savagery, this universe is mindless!
In mere hours, billions will die: innocent, guilty, strong and weak, honest and deceitful, all of them! They will scream, they will burn, and for no purpose than the mighty Khorne may revel in their bloodshed. And united in this void of purpose, fear or duty, we shall at long last BE FREE! BLOOD! FOR THE BLOOD GOD! SKULLS! FOR THE SKULL THRONE! LET! THE GALAXY! BUUUUURRRNN!!!
Azariah Kyras, Dawn of War II: Retribution

"It must be... magnificent. To hear a planet writhe and scream. To feel it convulse beneath your own feet. Witness it dying with living eyes. Perhaps I may share this gift with every last living soul in the galaxy... Until then..." *Evil Laugh*
Azariah Kyras, Dawn of War II: Retribution

"Marian, don't you understand? We'll create outbreaks anywhere we want to. We can control where it goes. And when we're done, we'll kill the Kings. It'll wipe out the population, but leave all the infrastructure. It'll be like the neutron bomb I always dreamed of."
General John Hemlock revealing his plans to Marian Mallon, Dead Rising 3

"Look upon me. Dominus of the Red Legion. Annihilator of suns. Razer of a thousand worlds. Slayer of gods and conqueror of the Light."
Dominus Ghaul, Destiny 2

"He was obsessed with becoming the Devil. So much he killed his own wife; for that he butchered innocent people, too. He's the most vile kind of creature."
Lady, about her father Arkham, Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening

"Tyrael was a fool to have trusted me! You see, it was I who told Diablo and his Brothers about the Soulstones and how to corrupt them. It was I who helped the Prime Evils mastermind their own exile to your world. The plan we set in motion so long ago cannot be stopped by any mortal agency. Hell itself is poised to spill forth into your world like a tidal wave of blood and nightmares. You and all your kind...are doomed."
Izual, Diablo II

"...And so it came to pass that the Countess, who once bathed in the rejuvenating blood of a hundred virgins, was buried alive... And her castle in which so many cruel deeds took place fell rapidly into ruin. Rising over the buried dungeons in that god-forsaken wilderness, a solitary tower, like some monument to Evil, is all that remains. The Countess' fortune was believed to be divided among the clergy, although some say that more remains unfound, still buried alongside the rotting skulls that bear mute witness to the inhumanity of the human creature."
—Description of the Countess, Diablo II

"Take one last look at your shining Heaven, Imperius. For soon, nothing of it shall remain... but my laughter."
Diablo, Diablo III

"If you had let the culling continue, the human race you fight to protect would have survived. Now I will resurrect the Icon of Sin. He will devour Earth and leave your home world in ruins."
Khan Makyr, Doom Eternal

Bahloki nahkip sillesejoor. My belly is full of the souls of your fellow mortals, Dovahkiin. Die now and await your fate in Sovngarde!
Alduin, the World Eater, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

"I haven't captured a soul for days, and the last victim died on impact. Of course I was still able to reclaim his soul, but without the thrill of killing, or any kind of torture, the process lacks that special something. The reclaimed souls I've summoned make decent targets, but taking a mortal's life is so much more...sweet."
Sild's journal, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

"Our blessing is now ready. It shall spread, an all-consuming plague which will bury this world in corpses. This nasty, imperfect world, with no order, no respect. All will belong to my Lord, to his order. Their laughing will be drowned out by coughs, their impertinent words choking in their throat as bile builds. I'll make them beautiful, perfect. And then they shall die, lying in their own filth. My heart flutters just imagining the sight."
Nathien Mortieu, The Elder Scrolls Online

"Each patient file comes with a description of their traumas and how to trigger them. Constantly remind patients that their trauma was their own doing. Never validate any signs of healthy change. More patients means more money.
If any patient causes a public disturbance, have them removed immediately and locked in their room without food or water for that day. Record event in file.
Inject each patient nightly to induce hallucinations and anxiety. Record all reactions in each patient's file.
CASE: Witnessed the murder-suicide of both her parents by her sister. NOTES: Fakes being asleep to immediately squeeze the vaccine out once injected. Keep unfed and dehydrated until cooperative. Will eventually die from how much she bloodlets herself. Show no positive interaction.
CASE: Family died in a car crash when he was 8. NOTES: It was his fault for throwing a tantrum in the backseat. Tell him that."
— Written instructions from The Preacher/Jason Sunray to his employees on how to abuse the orphans under their care, The Exorcism Of Annabelle Sunray

"In the end, I would kill the subjects, and save myself. I wouldn't want it any other way. Or so I thought. It's true the Failsafe would scare the living hell out of every resident in Tranquility Lane, and lead to their brutal deaths. But then what about me? I have no ability to disable my own safety from within the simulation. And any other avatars I could create would be driven by the simulation's A.I. routines not actual living, thinking, human subjects. Where's the fun in tormenting a machine? And so, the release of the real-world subjects is more than they deserve, more that I could bear. They'd be dead, and I'd be left here in Tranquility Lane, alone and tragically bored for all eternity. I can think of nothing more unacceptable."
Dr. Stanislaus Braun, Fallout 3

"Life... dreams... hope... Where do they come from? And where do they go...? Such meaningless things... I'll destroy them all!"

"Kefka cares nothing about anyone or anything but himself and he finds no greater joy in life than in inflicting suffering and death unto others. He has no long-reaching goal for his destructive actions, destruction itself is the goal. He manipulates the emotions of others and will readily lie without hesitation, but his purpose for doing this is again usually nothing but his own amusement in tormenting them. Kefka's need to inflict suffering drives him to continuously greater heights to sate his urges, culminating with the ruination of the entire world and the deaths of countless creatures."

"Truth...justice, honor, freedom! Vain indulgences, every one...I know what I want, and I take it. I take advantage of whatever I can, and discard that which I cannot. There is no room for sentiment or guilt."
President Shinra, Final Fantasy VII Remake

"I created you. All of you. And what is mine, is mine to destroy."
Ultima, Final Fantasy XVI

"I-It's only now that I understand the depth of the depravity of this...creature - this monster that I unwillingly helped to create. As if what he had already done wasn't enough, he found a new way to desecrate, to humiliate, to destroy. As if the suffering wasn't enough, the loss of innocence, the loss of everything to so many people. Small souls trapped in prisons of my making now set to new purpose and used in ways I never thought imaginable."
Cassette Man/Henry talking about his old business partner, William Afton/Springtrap, Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator

"Most of the old staff knows the stories about the Spider Witch...who did unimaginable things in a room on the twelfth floor back in the 1920's. Her victims were hung from the ceiling, drained of blood then dragged around. The walls of her room were literally painted with blood. The furniture was hacked, chewed and crushed up in the corner like a giant nest."
Sedgewick Hotel's manager on the Spider Witch, Ghostbusters: The Video Game

"You are, all of you, vermin! Cowering in the dirt, thinking... what, I wonder? That you might escape the coming fire? No! Your world will burn until its surface is but glass! And not even your Demon will live to creep - blackened - from its hole to mar the reflection of our passage, the culmination of our Journey. For your destruction is the will of the gods! And I? I am their instrument!"
The High Prophet of Truth, Halo 3

"No more of this confusing life, afterlife, afterdeath nonsense! I'm afraid from now on, it's just death, death, and more death! Bwahahaha!"
Atticus Thorn, The Haunted Mansion

Brainiac: Earth's time is up.
Superman: Where's Kara?
Brainiac: Being vivisected. She has already taught me much about the nature of your powers.
Superman: Allow me to give you a proper demonstration...
Brainiac: I match your strength. You cannot match my intellect. You are only a Kryptonian... of which I have killed billions.

Pit: It wasn't cool of you to disappear earlier. After all, this is our final battle.
Hades: Oh, I was just going to make a quick stop to decimate a country or two.
Pit: In the middle of battle? Why would you do that?
Viridi: Probably so he could fuel up on souls.
Hades: Yes, I was hoping to greet Pitty on top of a mountain of corpses. But I didn't even get a pile started with him hot on my heels. What a killjoy.
Palutena: Your hunger for destruction is as boundless as it is callous, Hades.
Hades and Pit having a conversation about eating souls, Kid Icarus: Uprising

Christopher Mills: He's been laying low in the public agency for 15 years... Rumor has it that he's involved in some kind of organ deals. Organs to be used as raw material for the creation of the Smileys.
Garcian Smith: So he's after children. That's as vile as you gonna get.
Garcian and Christopher on Curtis Blackburn, Killer7

"What if I had no enemies left to fight? What if I used my weapons, and killed everyone on Earth? Colonies would be terrified, they'd... fall into line. And I wouldn't need your help."
Chairman Johann Stahl, Killzone 3

"It's fun to kill a man, to take all that he had, and could ever have."
Khada Jhin, upon killing Yasuo in-game. League of Legends

"She screamed, just once. As I snapped her bones and crushed her limbs! Now that meal? *laughs* It left me satisfied. So cry if you want boy, 'cause you had a chance to walk away. Instead you're the fool, the fool who let me in."
Tahm Kench, League of Legends

Malefor: Citizens of Warfang... Congratulations. You shall be the first to witness the resurrection of the Destroyer... and the end of the world.
Ignitus: Malefor... By our ancestors... What is that?
Malefor: The Destroyer has commenced it's journey to form the ring of annihilation. At the end of his journey, the Belt of Fire will spread across the surface of this world in a torrent of fire and ash. There will be no escape!

"I shall soon take my rightful place among the gods! And then the beauty of destruction will rain down upon this world!"

"Rise... rise, my servants! Sweep over Hyrule with the power I have granted you. Eliminate this kingdom and her allies. LEAVE NO SURVIVORS!!!"

"How disappointing... This world should be shrouded in darkness, not bathed in insufferable light. All these weak, peace-loving cowards running rampant... It would have been more... satisfying to overcome a worthy foe. Regardless, I will reshape this world as it was meant to be. I will crush any opposition. I will rule. That is what a king must do. Do not look away. You witness a king's revival. And the birth of his new world!"

"I will yet rule this land... You will not stop me! A mere mortal... will not stand in my way! My body... my mind... everything! I'll sacrifice it all to destroy you... and cast this world into eternal night!"
Demon King Ganondorf before he transforms into the Demon Dragon in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

"History is no more for this happy race. Their hobbit-holes are now tombs, their party trees kindling, and those who survive are now enslaved by the Dark Lord Sauron. Treebeard was, in the end, no match for the fury of the orcs. He now serves as a bonfire into which halfling bodies are thrown. Even the great wizard Gandalf could not stand before the Dark Lord. He is fallen and cannot be restored; his purpose here has ended. Those who did not fight in this war shall now become the final victims. Their homes shall be burnt and the future of their children shall be sacrificed on Sauron's cruel altar. Death and ruin are all that will remain, for the Dark Lord's cruelty will know no limits, and in the end, all shall be destroyed. For now, the darkness has covered all living things, and it has claimed us all..."
Elrond on Sauron, The Lord of the Rings: Conquest

Kaito: You even targeted innocent people!
Sadamoto: (chuckles) I wouldn't say I targeted them. There was a designated table for everyone in Crimson Lotus. I can't help it if some non-members stopped by for a drink. So at that point, I would say it's on them. Besides, wouldn't it make sense for a vengeful, hate-fueled killer to pile on a few extra casualties? The public is much more liable to eat up a dramatic story, after all.
Kaito: You're out of your goddamn mind.
Kyoya Sadamoto after poisoning the last leaders of the Crimson Lotus and several innocent party guests, Lost Judgment DLC The Kaito Files

"NOW YOU'VE DONE IT! YOU'RE USELESS NOW, PEACH! TIME TO FINISH YOU! YOU CANNOT ESCAPE! THIS KINGDOM IS MINE! I WILL DESTROY YOU ALL! DESTROY!"
Princess Shroob, Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time

"Now imagine how it would feel to stop a beating heart, to snuff out the spark of life with a thought, to pull the very stars from the sky to crush those who oppose you. That is my destiny, little man. Power beyond your understanding."
Heng Long to Marlow Briggs, Marlow Briggs and the Mask of Death

"With Meridian, we can transform every world in this cluster to a wasteland. Either the subjects submit to exaltation, or we will use it to annihilate them."
The Archon, Mass Effect: Andromeda

"Humans are like pigs, dependent upon the Reploids for their very existence...You do realize, don't you, that if I felt like it, I could wipe all humans out in the blink of an eye? Crea! Prea! Do with this one as you please! I've got some pig squeals to enjoy. The squeals of indolent pigs, wasting their pitiful lives on idle pursuits."

"Kids you can mold, manipulate into performing all kinds of atrocities — and there's nothing like a good atrocity to keep a war going."

Shao Kahn: Where are the Elder Gods, Raiden? (Laughs) Their pathetic Mortal Kombat shackles me no longer. (beating up Raiden several times and then throws him) They masquerade as dragons, but are mere *toothless* worms. My venom spreads. It is the end of all things. Armageddon.
Raiden: Stop!
Shao Kahn: (Picks up Raiden) It is done. Your time has passed. (Throws Raiden) Ages wasted in foolish resistance. Now is the dawn of my rule. (Laugh) Yes. Pray to the world. As your world ends.
Shao Kahn to Raiden in the opening scene of Mortal Kombat 9

''It's too late you know. The Gates can no longer be shut. Now they are open all around the world. The only thing left to do is to watch. As this world rots and withers away. My work here is done. Now I receive my reward."
Father Friedstein, revealing that he has caused the apocalypse by opening portals to Hell all over the world, Night at the Gates of Hell

"Jeremy Blaire. My supervisor's supervisor, a man who'd see me skinned, salted, and raped for a promotion and a few martinis. Injured. Dying if he's not already dead. I'm trying to feel sorry for him. Really, I am."
Waylon Park's note about Jeremy Blaire, Outlast

"Hahaha!! Hya—hahaha! Behold!! The Earth Dragon will destroy Earth along with Joka!! The axis will shift and people shall die!! I have transformed history!! What is life if you can't even bear this!?"'
Tatsuzuo Sudou, Persona 2: Eternal Punishment

"Hahaha... You don't get it, do you?! It's useless to search for hope or reasons to live in this pathetic world! A world this depraved must be started over from the beginning! And then! At long last! I will rule over the new world! Hahahaha! I... I was so close..."
Shuji Ikutsuki, Persona 3

Futaba Sakura: If he's been behind all of those mental shutdowns... Doesn't that mean all the weird accidents from these past few years were his fault? Like, that subway accident back in April...
Makoto Niijima: Now that you mention it, that accident lost the Minister of Transport his job...
Ann Takamaki: Wait... Are you trying to say that Shido caused that accident? But it's the subway! Does he not care at all about innocent lives!?
Yusuke Kitagawa: This man seems to be truly unbelievable...
Futaba Sakura: Supposedly there are still tons of victims from that in the hospital even now.
Yusuke Kitagawa: Masayoshi Shido... How many has he killed over the years?
Haru Okumura: How could we ever understand what goes on in the mind of such a horrible man...?
The Phantom Thieves on Masayoshi Shido, Persona 5

"Now hand over the plates you gathered! I will be the one to bring them all together! My desire to meet Arceus cannot be contained any longer! I need to know what it is! I MUST know what it is! If I can meet Arceus myself, then I may also be able to subjugate its power... And using that, I will attempt to create a new, better world! Of course, if I create a brand-new world, then this Hisui region that we currently exist in will be undone and returned to nothing. You, everyone you know, and all the Pokémon living here will vanish in an instant, as if you'd never been. If you want to keep this world from disappearing, then face me in battle! Not that you have a choice. Even if you don't wish to battle me, I'm not above using force to take those plates from you."
Volo revealing his true plans in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

"Total annihilation of life, What a fine thing! Death to all that lives! Destruction to all that has form! That is indeed my desire!"

"No longer will our kind remain trapped on this primitive planet! No, we will spread out, and rip this Universe apart! Planet by planet, star by star, until nothing but dust remains!"

Official: Fair citizens of Saint Denis, for as long as any of us can remember, it is justice that separates us from barbary. Yet justice itself can at times be barbaric. For sometimes a man is so savage, the only way to deal with him justly is by savagery. Colm O'Driscoll is one such man. He has murdered, tortured, robbed, stolen, raped, and abused for a decade across five states, seemingly with impunity. Today, justice catches up with him.
Colm O'Driscoll: (laughs) As well you may. I've been a bad man!

"The nuclear war will create a nuclear winter that will kill most life, and radioactivity will render the world uninhabitable for thousands of years to come."
"DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR!"
Ivan Retovitz, Red Zone

"Oh, I truly hope you like our small, but special contributions. When the egg hatches, you'll become my puppets. Involuntarily, you'll do as I say. I'll have total control over your minds. Don't you think this is a revolutionary way to propagate one's faith?"
Osmund Saddler, Resident Evil 4

"It's not just the killing he's into: he's into power. The intimacy of goin' inside, where the heart still pumps; he's into feelin' the skin tighten like a canvas and the warm blood spraying, leaving masterpieces for us to marvel at. And he's gonna go on and on, creating masterpieces, unless I stop him. Because I know what drives him to it. So don't you dare think you understand a killer—or me."
Detective Vince Magnotta on the Ripper (possibly Magnotta himself), Ripper

Safalaan: But why not just kill us and be done with it? Why bring us here?
Drakan: Oh, that's simple... where would be the sport in that? Zaros's interference lead us astray. His words twisted my mind, made me want to conform, to be "presentable" and constrained. Vampyres are none of those things. I hunt and I kill and I eat. I do it to live and because I enjoy it. I am a hunter and you are my prey-there is nothing more pure than this.
Player: You're a monster.
Drakan: Yes, but unlike my dear sister, I do not deny this truth-I embrace it!
Lord Lowerniel Drakan, RuneScape

Seren: A war, Sliske, it would wake them. You must know that the elder gods sleep below us and you know what will happen if they wake!
Sliske: Of course I know! Why do you think I've orchestrated all of this? I want them to wake and I want Gielinor to be torn apart in the process!
Seren: But why could you possibly want that? It's madness!
Sliske: Because this world is the lock that holds the rest of the universe together. I've been to countless worlds, but this one is the very keystone of creation. When this world falls, finally the other worlds will wake up and take notice. They'll fall into a free fall against one another. They'll all finally stop being boring. I have lived thousands of years and in that time I have watched everyone just repeat the same cycles again and again. It's as if all sentient life were devoid of creativity. It is so unfathomably tedious. But no one seems to have noticed it but me. They're all so obsessed with their little schemes, unaware that they're locked in a rut. But when war breaks out amongst the gods, without Gielinor, it will span across the whole of creation. Zamorak will unleash his demonic hordes, who will swarm across the worlds tearing them apart. Saradomin will be forced to return to Teragard and bring their twisted science into the conflict, changing the face of the war, quite literally in some cases. Even "peaceful Armadyl" will find himself forced to break his oaths and unleash terrible destruction...again. Doesn't it sound wonderful! No more stagnation. No more tedium. We'll see an end to the gods and the whole universe will be changed by it.

Satan: If you don't [put the gun down], I'll break Jezebel's beautiful neck.
Johnny Gat: She's your daughter!
Satan: I'll say something kind at her funeral.

"I will summon Set, the great chaos god who slew his brother Osiris with this very weapon! With Set's power and the beast armies of the Netherworld, I will enslave or destroy the people of the land of the living and rule this whole world! And you and your brothers will be my first sacrifice."

"Not even a thousand deaths would be fitting punishment for thy sins! I shall smite thee, and in hell I shall torture thee over and over! After an aeon, I shall reincarnate thee, and thy lives shall be those of endless torment, thy bodies tortured in life and thy souls in death! The same shall come to thy children, and thy children's children, throughout all eternity until the end of time! Feel the wrath of my divine lightning, and plummet into the bowels of hell, burning in its unending flames!"

"I don't think they're foolish enough to resist. However, if something should happen... Burn the village and kill them all. Let the bodies rot in the sun and leave one of our flags to set an example for others who may defy us."
Admiral Galcian, Skies of Arcadia

"Clockwerk. He was consumed with jealousy for the Cooper Clan's thieving reputation. Is it inappropriate to refer to him as a monster? No, not at all. What kind of person stays alive for hundreds of years with the express intention of wiping out a rival's family line?"
Sly Cooper describing Clockwerk in the prologue of Sly 2: Band of Thieves

"See, there is no hope here. No, not anymore. We're going to torture her. Ja. And, uh, you're going to watch, Lieutenant."
General Heinz Böhm, Sniper Elite 4

"Annihilation for this planet is near... it is time to embrace the dawn of your demise and despair!"

"You have no desire for revenge. You only crave destruction. Your only lust is to fuel Iblis until there is nothing left of time itself!"

"There is no reason to resist. Your savior is no more. I can taste your terror, child. All that anxiety and doubt...it's delicious. Give in to your fear, flee, screaming, and I'll let you live."
Infinite after killing The Avatar's teammates, Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic Forces

"This wasn't part of my agenda, but I'm always happy to crush a hero. It keeps the rabble in line. Shows them that there is no hope."
Infinite to Silver the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic Forces

"Countless stars. Countless worlds. Countless lives. All fell to me, all brought to nothing."

"In the end, the Sinister Six won. Just like every dimension we'd conquered before. To a victory tune composed of a million desperate screams, we moved on to the next dimension we'd unravel. But not before we'd had the pleasure of watching my greatest ruse of all unfold. The last of the dying spiders, burning away in their collapsing reality. Nobody can stop us. They were fools to try. I'm the final showman the Spiders will ever see."
Dark Mysterio, Spider-Man Unlimited

"I will admit that I take no little pleasure in this task. It will be quite entertaining to make some of those self-righteous humans turn on one another, or push one of those blustering braggarts from Qo'noS until he begs for death. Oh, and the Vulcans... I will make Vulcans weep, and I will savor every tear."
Colonel Hakeev, Star Trek Online

Emperor Palpatine: You are all traitors to the Empire. You will be interrogated. Tortured. You will give me the names of your friends and allies. And then you will die.
Bail Organa: Our deaths will only rally others.
Palpatine: Your very public and painful executions will serve as an example to the rest of the galaxy.
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

Kul Teska: One more step, and I blow every single escape pod into space dust.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: You're bluffing.
Teska: Try me, Jedi.
Plo Koon: Steady, Obi-Wan. I do not sense any deception.
Teska: You're more than happy to risk your own lives, but not the lives of others. Pathetic!
Obi-Wan: I shall ask you again: Who are you? What do you want?
Teska: My name is Kul Teska. And what I want, you don't have. But I'll settle for seeing the looks on your faces as your precious Clones die.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes

"You may have killed me here, today, but I had the pleasure of killing off your species! Not everyone who fought alongside the Mandalorians did it for their stupid concept of 'honor'. Some of us did it just for the pleasure: the pleasure of seeing your world burn."
Xor, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

"This... thing... you call emperor is nothing but a murderer. He will kill every last one of you to fuel his supposed immortality. He's already tried once."
The Outlander to Vititate's soldiers about Emperor Vititate, Star Wars: The Old Republic

"Most people find a job so they can live. I lived for my job. Once you've killed a man who was begging for his life, and everyone congratulates you on a job well done, nothing can compare. I used it all: electric chair, the rope, rifles, but gas was my favorite. There's such a purity to it. I always wished they would have kept me busier - my talents were under-utilized."
Hermes T. Haight, The Suffering

"Now the Chaos Heart is mine! I will use it to destroy all worlds... and create perfect new ones! So, shall we get started? Now I have all I need... to become the king of all worlds!"
Super Dimentio, Super Paper Mario

"Hey, remember that time when you trapped me in a painting for all eternity? Good times. But guess what? I GOT OUT! And now I'm painting the town RED! Yes, it was I who broke the Dark Moon! This power-enhancing jeweled crown of mine made it easy. And now that all the ghosts of Evershade Valley are under my control, it's time to take my rightful place as the supreme ruler of your world! You, that annoying scientist, and all your friends will look great hanging on the wall of my throne room!"
King Boo to Luigi, Super Mario Bros.: Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon

"Oh, so you don't like needless bloodshed, Lt. Jaggar? Well that's too bad. I do enjoy needless bloodshed. Especially from the innocents."

"In my talons, I shape clay, crafting life forms as I please. Around me is a burgeoning empire of steel. From my throne room, lines of power careen into the skies of Earth. My whims will become lightning bolts that devastate the mounds of humanity. Out of the chaos, they will run and whimper, praying for me to end their tedious anarchy. I am drunk with this vision. God: the title suits me well."
SHODAN, System Shock

Lara Croft: Shut it down!
Jacqueline Natla: Lara! Unexpected, but I'm glad you're here. You should be allowed to see the fruits of your labor.
Lara Croft: That's the Midgard Serpent?
Jacqueline Natla: Of course not. Jormungandr is the network of the tectonic ridges that encircles the earth on the ocean floor. And we stand now on its weakest point, where the ancient supercontinent Pangaea first broke in two. When this relic unleashes its fury below, the very seems of the planet will burst. The Midgard Serpent will rise up and spew poison into the air, and all the world will be consumed by fire and ash. Ragnarok! The seventh age is upon us!

Optimus: It didn't have to come to this. (is put into restraints)
Megatron: This is what you chose, Prime. When you defied me. All of this is your doing.
Autobot Prisoner 1: Optimus! (Megatron shoots him)
Optimus: Megatron, stop!
Megatron: I'll stop, when all of you are dead.
Autobot Prisoner 2: No! Nooo! (Megatron shoots him as well)
Optimus: This is needless! All we want is to leave!
Megatron: (smashes Optimus across the face) Charge up the Warp Cannon. Wipe their precious Ark off the face of Cybertron. No one leaves without my permission!

"In a couple of hours, Anthrax will begin his business - millions... no... billions of worthless people will die in terrible agony!"
Dr. Ernst Schaeffer, Ubersoldier

"Let this scar signify the first blow against the mortal world... From this seal shall arise the doom of men... who, in their arrogance sought to wield our fire as their own... Blindly they built their kingdoms upon stolen knowledge and conceit... Now they shall be consumed by the very flame they sought to control... Let the echoes of doom resound across this wretched world, that all who live may hear them and despair."
Archimonde while he destroys the city of Dalaran, Warcraft

"Before I kill you, you must know... Triss Merigold is being dragged to the laboratories as we speak. Torture will follow. Everyone breaks sooner or later. It's merely a question of time. What say you, witcher? Still the indifferent tough guy?"
Azar Javed, The Witcher

"General Deathshead... today he's teaching me a lesson. I've seen suffering and death, people maimed and tortured. Thought I'd seen it all, but I'd never seen true cruelty, until now."
Captain Blazkowicz about Wilhelm Strasse, Wolfenstein: The New Order

"Pain... agony... my hatred burns through the cavernous deeps... The world heaves with my torment! Its wretched kingdoms quake beneath my rage! But at last, the whole of Azeroth will break. And all will burn beneath the shadow of my wings!"
Deathwing, World of Warcraft: Cataclysm

"Now all shall bear greatness to my presence. I hold their leaders powerless, and their mightiest city is under my control. Soon I will show this world a war the likes of which has never been seen! I will weed out the weak and inferior so that only the strong survive!"
"Try to relax mutant, as I peel and strip your mind like an onion. Very soon I will have everything I need to rid the world of your kind...Excellent, the extinction of Homosapien Superior, mutants, begins now."

Dunban: Why did you betray us to the Mechonis? Why did you kill our friends at the colony? Why?!
Mumkhar: You wanna know? Because it's your home.
Dunban: You piece of!
Mumkhar: Stay where you are. That thing works by remote, so unless you want me to put a hole in her neck!

"I can talk all right. And I got a good memory. 'Fiora get outta there, get out!' Her screams were music to my ears as my claws slid right through her soft flesh. Like a hot knife through butter!"
Metal Face, Xenoblade Chronicles 1

Moebius D: I... I lost...? Impossible! I won't accept it! I am D of the Moebius! The man who was Blackblaze Dirk! I won't be beaten by some idiot upstarts!
Taion: Blackblaze Dirk...
Noah: You've heard of him?
Taion: I read about him in a textbook. An Agnian soldier from long ago who'd gone mad. Rather then take lives with his Blade, he'd behead his enemies with talon-like swords, bring them back, and add them to his collection.
Mio: So that's who we're dealing with...

"I am reborn, from the realm of chaos. Through all the time that has passed, my hatred has raged on! All living things on this earth will be burned by the flames of Hell!"
