Judy tries to relaunch a legendary secret society called the Saved by the Spells and try to pull off a big prank but they run into a problem when Principal Gibbon goes undercover as a student. Honeybee and Wolf had a crazy night with Wolf's friend, Cheesecake, and they're trying to remember what they did last night. Moon makes a new trucker friend on his citizens band radio, not knowing it's really Beef pretending to be a trucker.

Tropes:

  • Adults Dressed as Children: Principal Gibbons does "Undercover Principal Day" every year, posing as a teen to try and find out what the students are doing. He does a different persona every year; his previous personas include a goth kid named "Christian Devilbanes" and a cowboy named "Kip Willikers". This year he poses as a skater named Joey TicTac, trying to act hip by using outdated slang and references. It's not even close to a secret, and the kids aren't dumb enough to fall for it, but they just roll with it.
  • Bizarre Taste in Food: Honeybee discovered that she got a tattoo of grapes while drunk. Later, it's revealed that Wolf got a matching tattoo of their favorite snack, grapes and milk. The song over the closing credits is about other unlikely food combinations they apparently like.
  • Couch Gag: The boat in the opening is Here I Go Again On My Boat.
  • "Could Have Avoided This!" Plot: After Old Jody Jr. tells Wolf and Honeybee what they did the previous nights, Wolf asks him why he didn't tell them what they did the first time they asked. Jody admits he's been trying to unload all his moonshine for years because he needs the jars to start his new jelly company.
  • Idiot Ball: Crispin is apparently unable to tell that "Joey Tic Tac" is Principal Gibbons, which is why he tells him about the secret society, believing he's helping "the new kid" to fit in.
  • Kansas City Shuffle: Judy decides to fool Principal Gibbons by doing a lesser prank (namely, cleaning the parking lot) so that they can do the real prank after he leaves. She got the idea from Alanis Morrissette, who would use a similar trick with her singer friends to avoid Dave Grohl. Unfortunately, Gibbons caught them doing the real prank (setting a papier-mache bust of Keanu Reeves on fire), but he was more upset that he was left out rather than them doing something dangerous in school property.
  • Not in Front of the Kid: When Moon first uses the CB radio, the first person he hears is someone named "HJ Hank" telling any listeners where to meet him for his "services" until Beef immediately shuts off the radio, leaving Moon clueless to what "Hank" is trying to do.
  • Pop-Culture Pun Episode Title: The episode title is either a reference to Saved by the Bell or just the phrase.
  • Totally Radical: For Undercover Principal Day, Principal Gibbons poses as a "hip" teen who uses painfully outdated slang and references.
  • What Did I Do Last Night?: Wolf wakes up the morning after going out with Cheesecake with a piercing in his bellybutton. On the suggestion of Old Jody Jr., he tells them to take more moonshine on the logic that getting drunk makes you remember what you did the last time you got drunk. Naturally, that just results in him and Honeybee doing more crazy stuff they don't remember, including getting matching tattoos.

♫ We go together
We go together like brownies and cheese
Pickles and oatmeal, like church bells and peas
We go together like milk and grapes
Chicken and peanut butter, bologna and crepes
We go together like grapes and milk
Perfect combo, smooth as silk
We go together, we go together. ♫
