During Father's Day weekend, the Tobins spend their time at an RV park, Family Land, but they discover that Beef is the Fiend of Family Land, the man who accidentally ruined Family Land ten years ago. Meanwhile, Moon meets a skunk in the woods and befriends a group of them. Judy meets a French-accented boy named Abélard and develops a romances with him.

Tropes:

  • Couch Gag: The boat in the opening is Ship My Dad Says.
  • Everyone Looks Sexier if French: Subverted. Judy quickly develops a reciprocated crush on a friendly Quebecois boy, with his accent and use of French being very appealing to her. Judy backs out of it when she realizes that he and his family don't really live up to her expectations of stereotypically French elegance (i.e. he and his brothers having "fart contests").
  • Five-Second Foreshadowing:
    • Beef’s eye twitches when Wolf is winding up to ask if he’s the Fiend of Familyland.
    • Near the end of the episode, after Beef starts laughing at Family Land getting ruined again thanks to Moon's skunk stunt, movements can be seen in Moon's duffle bag. Once Honeybee notice something smells horrible in the car, it's revealed that Moon tried to sneak a skunk home to have as a pet.
  • Friendship Song: After Moon befriends a skunk, he sings a song about being friends with skunks and how people would love them.
  • Gasshole: Judy enters Abélard's camper, hoping that he and his family are as sophisticated as his French-Canadian accent suggests. Instead, she finds him and his brothers engaged in a farting contest. After a while of getting farted on, Judy leaves, and as she does, she lets one rip as if to tell them "That's a fart."
  • Here We Go Again!: Just as the Family Land campers have forgiven Beef, Moon arrives with the skunks, and in the ensuing chaos Elwin accidentally sets the septic tanks on fire again. As the Tobins drive away, Beef chuckles at the ironic turn of events, and at the fact that it wasn't their fault this time.
  • Holiday Episode: The episode takes place around Fathers' Day.
  • Instantly Proven Wrong: When Judy tries to comfort Beef by saying she wouldn't say the campers 'hate' him, someone outside the R.V throws an egg at the window.
Pelter: We literally hate you, Beef!
  • Misplaced Wildlife: Justified Trope in regard to the skunks. When Moon points out that skunks aren't native to Alaska, Wolf explains that they filmed a Noah's Ark movie a while back and some of the skunks brought for the shoot got loose.
  • Once More, with Clarity: While telling R.V. stories around the campfire, Elwin tells a scary story about the Fiend of Family Land, a tall, muscular man who ruined Family Land by dropping a firecracker down an open septic tank which exploded and unleashed a horrible smell that caused the R.V. park to be condemned for the rest of the summer. After Beef comes out that he's the Fiend, he explains it was an accident and he was trying to get Kathleen's attention, who was hanging out with three handsome men from Montana, by doing a sparkler dance which involves holding two sparklers while he dance to music. But he accidentally dropped one of the sparklers down the three men's septic tank and that's when the disaster happened. After Elwin spotted Beef holding a sparkler, Beef took Kathleen and his family and drove away from the park.
  • Persona Non Grata: Due to accidentally setting fire to the septic tanks the last time the Tobins went to Family Land, Beef has since been known as the Fiend of Family Land, and is thus shunned by the other campers.
  • Pop-Culture Pun Episode Title: A play on the title of the song "Papa Don't Preach" by Madonna. When Beef admits to being the Familyland Fiend, Wolf also references the song, saying, "Papa do fiend, and we're in trouble deep."
  • Season Finale: The final episode of Season Two.
  • Shout-Out:
    • To Albert Camus, the most important literary author, according to Abélard's family as Judy imagines them. They turn out to be less cultured than she imagined them.
  • Smelly Skunk: Moon befriends a pack of skunks and thinks they should meet the others. Naturally, the presence of the skunks causes a riot. In the end, Moon tries to bring one home, but its smell gives it away.
  • Unwitting Instigator of Doom:
    • While Beef is responsible for accidentally ruining Family Land, it was Kathleen's fault that started the whole mess. When Kathleen decides to hang out with the three handsome men from Montana instead of spending time with her family, Beef tries to get her attention by doing a sparkler dance, but he accidentally dropped a sparkler in septic tank and it's what caused the disaster.
    • Family Land is ruined again the same way when Moon brings a pack of skunk to the Father's day Follies which causes everyone to panic. Elwin tries to scare the skunks away with a lit tiki torch, but he trips on a rock and accidentally drops his torch into an open septic tank, causing another explosion to occur again.
