Phantom Blood

  • Jonathan Joestar, who contrasts greatly with his Jerkass of an adoptive brother, Dio. Even when Dio kills him, he still loves him as his brother.
  • Jonathan's father, George Joestar I, who, like his son, was never able to bring himself to hate Dio, even when he's killed by him. Though his strict treatment of Jonathan in his youth does cause this to become a Downplayed Trope, even if he came to regret it later.
  • William Anthonio Zeppeli, Jonathan's kind mentor who willingly sacrifices himself to save Jonathan without a second thought.
  • Erina Pendleton is shown to be a caring woman both in her youth and her old age. Best shown when she treated Smokey, an African-American, with kindness in an age that was rampant with racism.
  • Robert E. O. Speedwagon, after Jonathan convinces him to turn his life around, becomes a kindhearted man who starts his own foundation that continues to support the Joestar family and others, even decades after his own death.

Battle Tendency

  • Smokey Brown, after befriending Joseph, proves himself to be a kind and loyal friend.

Stardust Crusaders

  • Holly Kujo, as can be seen when she's taking care of Kakyoin.
  • After mellowing out from the previous part, Joseph Joestar becomes this, even going as far as making a silly face for Mannish Boy.
  • Speaking of whom, Noriaki Kakyoin is the most outwardly kind of the Crusaders, as well as the group's voice of reason.
  • Malèna during the Egypt arc qualifies, since she is depicted to be kind, gentle, and caring, taking care of a de-aged Polnareff while he was fighting against Alessi.

Diamond is Unbreakable

  • Josuke Higashikata, which is reflected through his Stand ability, though he has a Hair-Trigger Temper, especially regarding... well... his hair. Jotaro lampshades this:
"The Human Species lives to destroy other things, so your power is the most loving and gentle power in the world."
  • Koichi Hirose is outright stated by Rohan to be honest and courageous when reading through him with Heaven's Door, as can be seen when his Stand awoke through his love for his family.
  • Tonio Trussardi, which, like Josuke, is reflected is his Stand, which can heal the ailments of anyone who eats Tonio's food.
  • Mikitaka Hazekura (that is, if he really is an alien like he says and not just pulling a prank), who's always in a pleasant mood and is willing to throw himself into the fray if his friends are in danger.

Golden Wind

  • Giorno Giovanna may be a bit ruthless in his methods, but he is a pleasant individual with a noble goal.
  • Bruno Bucciarati may be a career gangster but he uses his position to clean the streets of Naples, and is a kind individual to anyone he meets.
  • Guido Mista, despite being a mafia member who has a Berserk Button centered around the number 4, is one of the more easygoing characters in the series.
  • Trish Una may have been perceived as a spoiled individual it was really a way to cover up her insecurity, when she obtains her stand her true personality is that of a caring and genuine individual.

Stone Ocean

  • While he's at first portrayed as a Creepy Child, once he's properly introduced, Emporio Alniño is shown to be a kind kid who's loyal to the rest of the cast (with the exception of Anasui).

Steel Ball Run

  • Gyro Zeppeli, a kindhearted man who's shown to have trouble with killing people.
  • Pocoloco, an easygoing and humble guy who just wants to be able to relax.
