    Yakuza 0
  • Nico loses his mind over karaoke.
Nishiki (Nico): "Single Ladies" or Hatsune Miku?
    • From the beginning of "Judgement-Shinpan- he wasn't doing good, due to how sudden it was, and then it got even worse the moment background behind the text changed into music video with Nishiki and Kiryu as rock stars.
Nico: video appears Oh my god! WHOA WHAT THE FUCK
  • A surprising cameo for one of the characters.
Sleazy Tarashi: Well, I make habit of getting up bright and early so I can make pancakes.
Nico: breaks into laughter MAKE SOME PANCAKES! Then he pulls off his face and oh my god, it was Akechi all along!
Kiryu (Nico): Goddammit I knew it!
Akechi (Nico): That's right, I'm in this game too now. And you're under the arrest, bitch!
    Kiryu (Nico): No damn it!
  • Kiryu showing he can dance!!!
    • There's also Majima's dance.
  • Speaking of Majima's dance... anytime that Majima does his 'do the Hustle dance'. Especially this moment where he purposely get the question wrong for the sake of seeing it. Complete with Nico's song.
  • When Majima shows up, Nico wonders how the two stories connect together. When Majima mentions that he needs a new waitress, Kiryu (in Nico's mind) walks in at that exact moment.
  • During minigame fight against Pleasure King involving telephoning girls in order to date with them, Nico tries to ask "What is your face like?"...only to accidentally choose "Are you really a guy?". Becomes Hilarious in Hindsight when after the battle it turns out that person behind the phone was the Pleasure King himself, a crossdressing guy.
Kiryu: I never going to make the same mistake twice...
(Later after he gets the shares)
Kiryu: I won... but somehow, I feel as though I lost...
  • When Kiryu helps out a dominatrix on how to act like one, Nico jokes that he will look up in the sky saying "What am I doing with my life?" when teaching her. Not 2 minutes later, Kiryu really DID said it, causing Nico to start laughing so hard upon seeing the exact seven words.
  • Everything involving Nugget, but especially this bit:
Nico: WHAT THE FUCK?!?! "Nugget has joined your team as a manager"?!?! (long string of unintelligible noises, which sounds like he's doing a long spit take) What?! WHAAAAAAAAT?!?! What the fuck, it's actually happening?! I was just joking!! (desperately corpsing) Oh my god, what the hell...! Japan, everybody! Fucking Japan!
  • Yuki is surprised at Majima's kindness towards her, causing Majima to question her.
Majima (Nico): Seriously, what do you always think I'm not a nice guy all the time?! I AM NICE! I am a... good person! *Cue a clip of him smashing a hooligan's face against the wall repeatedly like an imagine spot* ...Most of the time.
  • Etsuko from the Obatarian side quest. Let's just say Majima got 'molested' by her after saving her.
  • Majima's 24 Hour Cinderella for Nico was so good that it was stuck in his head for five days.
    • In Episode 25, he finally gives it a try in the Karaoke lounge after multiple fans suggestions. He was amazed even comments that he didn't expect Majima, who's a very serious person to be dancing and wearing those flashy idol outfit. In the following episode, he comments that he manages to forget it after the song got stuck for three days. Unfortunately, during one of the side quest where he helped a street performer, Majima sings part of the song in full voice acting; Nico was shocked in disbelieved as he was joking that he would sing it.
    • And then in the following episode, after knowing that the next lesson of the Platinum Hostess is karaoke, he thought that he's going to sing that song again... which he did. To make it more funnier, it is the ONLY song he could sing.
Nico: GODDAMMIT!!! FUCK!! NOOOOOO! It's never going to go away, isn't it!!
  • Yuki being the Butt-Monkey for all Majima!Nico quips throughout the LP. This includes forgetting her when she gets kidnapped, dealing with her vineger shenanigans and shoving Majima's dancing outfit on her.
  • In the Telephone Club sidequest, Kiryu ended up going on a date with a Mrs. Robinson, a Gonk and Morishige disguise as a girl.
  • Kiryu ending up going Super Saiyan after drinking a special water a woman was trying to trick him into buying.
  • When Tachibana comes in to rescue Kiryu from the Yakuza with a car, a bunch of the thugs try to stop them using their bodies. Amano calls out their stupidity.
Amano (Nico): You idiots! We got guns!
  • After playing BakaMitai song, which is considered one of the Tearjerker song, Nico decides to ad-lib on it when he rewatch it again:
  • In a sidequest about a man who faked his death watching over his family, it just happens the voice he gave him is a deeper Yusuke Voice (The Kiyo Voice) and his son name is coincidentally Yusuke.
  • When Majima does a sidequest about being the test subject for experimental drugs, he quits when offered more chances to help with science.
Majima: I SWEAR OFF DRUG TESTING FOR LIFE!!!
  • Nico decides to fight So Amon... and gets torn apart. THEN he tries again only using the Smoke Gun... and this time, So Amon is the one getting torn apart. Nico could only laugh at how overpowered the gun is.
Nico: There's only one way to fight bullshit... WITH EVEN BIGGER BULLSHIT!
  • A Running Gag in the series, both Kiryu and Majima fight for the title of best daddy.
  • When Nico was ending this let's play, a bunch of hooligans comes in to attack Majima as he's wearing his karaoke outfit. Majima than proceeds to go into a rampage for not calling his outfit beautiful.

    Yakuza Kiwami
  • Kiryu doesn't have good experience with citizens of Kamurocho.
Senior Citizen: The two power families here are the Dojima Family and the Shimano Family. Both are Tojo Clan subsidiaries. Got it?
Kiryu (Nico): Why are you telling me all this, I already know all of thse things, shut up old man! beats him up
Senior Citizen (Nico): OH GOD I'M SORRY, FUCK!
  • Kiryu needed extra money to buy back the ring he bought for Yumi after a pickpocket took it from and sold it. His first thought was to find a Mr.Shakedown for some quick cash.
    • After managing to get back the ring without needing to pay it back, instead of returning the money he borrowed from Shinji, he decides to keep it for himself.
Kiryu!Nico: Fuck you Shinji it's mine now!
  • The "Previously On" segment, which manages to top Ni No Kuni 2's one.
Nico: 24-Hour Cinderella gets louder and louder in the background And now back to the thought provoking story about one man's struggle to stick to his VALUES AND UNDERSTAND THE TRUE MEANING OF LIFE— SHUT UP
    • In the final episode, he finally gives up and sings along to the music in a very hammy way.
  • From the very beginning of this LP Nico remembering what the Fortune Teller told him in 0 about events of the future games thought that Kiryu will do something in the finale that will make him go to jail for 10 years like she said. Turns out that timeskip happens in Chapter 2.
Nico: Chapter 2: December- WHAT?! December 5, 2005: Ten Years Gone?! WHAT?! Are you serious?! What?! Oh my god, that's a twist, I wasn't expecting that!
  • During the boss fight against Shimano,Nico kept running away from him since he had low health and no more healing items.
Nico!Kiryu: (Running away) AHHHH!!! Shinji save me!!!
  • In the battle during Sera's funeral, Nico didn't expect to run into Majima who goes on to fight him. The funny thing is that he treats this encounter very casually, even asking Majima how's he doing.
    • More Majima funny moments happen after that when you can free-roam, like when Majima disguises himself as a cop surprising Nico and his many battles against him made Nico think that he's making a Social Link with him.
  • In one sub-story where Kiryu deals with a runaway who refuses to pay his meals, he skewers him with a wooden plank he broke in half. The guy he stole from even found it too much.
Employee!Nico: Holy shit you didn't have to kill him dude!!! It was just 5 bucks!
  • Nico pretty much summarize the abundant amount of sidequest involving scams.
Nico: Hmmm...this guys is built like a brick house and looks like he probably kills people for a living. HE'S THE PERFECT GUY TO SCAM!ļ»æ
  • During Majima's Rank Up which involves "zombie apocalypse" Nico for the first time sees the Heat Action where Kiryu breaks the bottle in half and stabs the enemy right through their heart, leaving Nico actually horrified.
  • There was a comment that told Nico to check the magazines everytime he enters a store, not realizing that it would lead to Majima surprising him by staring at through the window.
    • There was also the time Majima pretended that zombie apocalypse has started and Nico made up so many lines of putting Majima and his gang out of their misery and demanding any crowds that watches his fight to run for their lives.
    • End of this Rank Up also makes grand return of Majima's "do the hustle" dance, including Nico's song for it.
  • Nico (in front of the lockers): Hopefully it's not that autographed card that always get me into a trouble. receives Charismatic Photo
  • Nico's horrified reaction when Kiryu uses a seemingly innocent waiter as a Human Shield when a member of the Snake Flower Triad opens fire on him.
  • Nico's entire reaction when he does the Bad Ass Dads, with how he kept calling Kiryu the Ultimate Daddy.
    • There's also his reaction to The Rumored Party sidequest, with how it was a Call-Back to Majima's sidequest in the previous game.
  • Nico's reaction to pretty infamous scene of Kiryu during chapter 9.
  • When Nico met up with Majima in Club Deborah, he happens to be wearing his idol outfit when he sings 24 Hour Cinderella. Nico had a fun time with this with how he couldn't get the song out of his head to begin with.
Nico!Majima: YEEEAAAHHHH!!! That's right! That shit actually happened! Whenever I was singing karaoke, I actually got out there live and did a choreographic dance in this outfit.
  • While playing pocket circuit, Majima appeared and Nico Lamp Shade how Majima missed a lot when he refused to play pocket circuit back in Yakuza 0. It got to the point Majima became a pocket circuit champion.
  • Just like in Yakuza 0 where he beat up Majima, Monokuma shows up and beats up Kiryu.
Junko: My hero! My name's Junko-
    Nico: Oh god!
Junko (Nico): My name's Junko Enoshima, haha, later bitch!
Nico: Monokuma just kinda shows up and jumps on me.
Kiryu (Nico): OH NO, NOT AGAIN, THIS HAS HAPPENED LAST GAME!
    Monokuma (Nico): UPUPUPUPUPUPUPUPUPUPUPU
    Nico starts singing battle theme
    Nico: You start fighting Monokuma.
Monokuma (Nico): You wanna piece of this, motherfucker?! I beat the shit out of the eyepatch guy in the last game, I'll beat out of you too!
Kiryu (Nico): I killed Majima more times than you can count, you've got nothing on me! You gonna die, bear!
Monokuma (Nico): HOO BITCH, I'M SO READY!
Nico: Monokuma goes into his buff form.
Monokuma (Nico): YEAH I GOT MUSCLES!
Nico: Curbstomps the shit out of Kiryu.
Kiryu (Nico): What the fuck aaaaaaaa
Monokuma (Nico): That's right, I'm the ultimate yakuza, bitch. Learn your place, Kiryu!
  • The LP features an unintentional Running Gag of Nico getting distracted or interrupted by a random thing during the usual intro/recap segment. Eventually, this gets to the point where Nishida (Majima's Butt-Monkey underling in charge of his communications with Kiryu) decides to call before he even finishes saying "Hello!", and immediately after that an enemy wanders right into the alley Kiryu is in.
  • At the final event of the Majima Everywhere Segment, Nico has to face Majima while in Mad Dog style, which involves plenty of knife stabs that should kill any normal person. What's funny is that while Kiryu is getting stabbed in vitals everywhere, Haruka just cheers him on the side.
Kiryu (Nico): Haruka, call an ambulance!!!
Haruka (Nico): You can do it daddy!
Kiryu (Nico): AHHH!!! AHHHH, FUCK THAT LAST STAB REALLY HURT! SERIOUSLY, I'M BLEEDING A LOT HARUKA!!! AH! OH GOD!!! AHHH!!!
Haruka (Nico): Don't worry daddy, I got my hoodie up. The giblets aren't hitting me.
Kiryu (Nico): Those are my giblets though honey!
    • This eventually results into Kiryu dying in the middle of the streets.
  • While taking Haruka around town, she ask Kiryu to sing "Otometal My Life" and score 950. Nico's reaction this is priceless. And this is after Nico asked Haruka to make her request easier then the pool one he just did.

    Yakuza Kiwami 2
  • In general, the game's wonky Ragdoll Physics elicit some amusing reactions from Nico.
  • As Kiwami 2 runs on a different engine than the previous Yakuza games Nico played, graphics and some of the game play aspects underwent drastic changes which occasionally caught him off-guard. The crowning example is when he discovers that the indoor areas like stores and restaurants are now part of the main map so entering and exiting them is done seamlessly, without loading screens.
Kiryu (Nico): WHERE'S THE LOADING SCREEN?!?!
Poppo Employee (Nico): SIR, LEAVE ME ALONE!
Kiryu (Nico): Oh, and I'd like one sausage please.
Poppo Employee (Nico): Here you go!
Kiryu (Nico): WHERE'S MY LOADING SCREEN?!
    Poppo Employee (Nico): AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
  • The entire intro where Nico!Kiryu singing Bakamitai in Larry's voice. However unlikely his previous LP, the picture in the said song keeps changing every episode minus episode 1. The pictures are:
    • Episode 2 & 3: Yakuza 0 era Majima in his 24-Hour Cinderella outfit. note  Nico must really miss that ponytail...
    • Episode 4: Nugget the Chicken.
    • Episode 5: The PSN error message. See below for more details.
    • Episode 6: Etsuko, the Obatarian from Yakuza 0. Nico won't have to wait long to see her again... as in Episode 21 she appears in one of the sub-stories.
    • Episode 7: A picture of a female NPC that he plays a game of tag with. Read its' full entry below for more details.
    • Episode 8: A rather weird looking model of Mr. Libido.
    • Episode 9: A picture of the waiter from Yakuza Kiwami, as he gets shot to shit. Which thanks to the music playing in the background might act as an unintentional reference to this.
    • Episode 10: Straight up NSFW yaoi drawing of Kiryu and Majima.
    • Episode 11: A close-up of Marina, one of the cabaret club girls from Yakuza 0.
    • Episode 12: Waluigi time! Likely a reference to how he isn't playable in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
    • Episode 13: Stephen Spining from Yakuza 0.
    • Episode 14: Kiryu singing Bakamitai, in reference to how the song is no longer an option for karaoke in Kiwami 2.
    • Episode 15: A selfie of Nico and Bernie, his dog.
    • Episode 16: The gold statue of Kiryu that you get as a reward for completing the real estate subplot in Yakuza 0.
    • Episode 17: A popular photoshop of the Piranha Plant licking Shadow's tears, a reference to how a popular Super Smash Bros. Ultimate 'leak' that Shadow appeared in turned out to be fake, punctuated by the appearance of the completely out-of-nowhere Piranha Plant as the first DLC fighter.
    • Episode 18: Makoto, as a nod to the cliffhanger of the second Majima chapter.
    • Episode 19: His Majima figurine.
    • Episode 20: Komaki holding a shotgun.
    • Episode 21: A picture of the dog Missile was based on, who died recently at the time of the video.
    • Episode 22: Stan Lee, who also died recently at the time of the video.
    • Episode 23: Kiryu as a child.
    • Episode 24: A real life picture of a tiger.
    • Episode 25: A gun being held up to a PS4, as a reference to how he had to replace his during this LP.
    • Episode 26: A brick joke that is everywhere to the point of leaving its own LP, marine scientist from Majora's Mask walkthrough shows up and even last note of the Bakamitai is replaced with his scream of "awe".
    • Episode 27: A picture of Majima's ponytail hair. Funnier when Yuki comments on Majima's hair.
    • Episode 28: A "Challenger Approaching" picture of Kiryu's silhouette.
    • Episode 29: The teaser image for Sonic the Hedgehog (2020).
    • Episode 30: A bloody close up of an Elegy of Emptiness statue.
    • Episode 31: TENDER CLEAVAGE.
    • Episode 32: Since this is the finale, Nico instead does a straight cover with a shot-for-shot recreation of Bakamitai, drinking eggnog while looking at the cover for the game itself. It even gets a 100 in the Yakuza 0 karaoke.
  • After triggering a street fight, Nico tries to escape from the chasing thugs by hiding inside the nearby Poppo convenience store. Unfortunately, due to the aforementioned new mechanics, the thugs end up following him, starting a fight inside the store. Nico is initially thrilled that he can finally fight them inside, and even gets to perform a hilariously brutal joint Heat Action with the employee, but the fight ends up getting him (temporarily) banned from the store due to all the damage he has done.
  • Just like in Breath of the Wild, Nico's first reaction to having an in-game camera (in Kiryu's case, a camera phone) is to start doing selfies.
  • Majima hasn't even appeared in the game yet, and Nico is already excited about his presence:
Nico: (reading the skill menu) "Majima Construction"? OH MY GOD! What the hell, Majima, what have you been doing since I last saw you?
Majima!Nico: I've been hanging out as a stripper.
  • Even though it's only episode 4, the scene pretty much establishes itself as one of the highlights of the LP, though it's not necessarily a fun moment for Nico: at the end of the episode Nico is walking around doing the side content...until the game closes down due to a sudden update, making him lose his ENTIRE progress from the episode, due to his last save being at the end of chapter 3.
    • In the next episode Nico makes a point to save more frequently, but that doesn't stop the game from closing down at a very perfect moment.
A 100 mil bounty was just put on Kiryu
Esaki: 'Fraid you've gonna die now!
game crashes while Nico mimics a Spit Take
  • When Nico is about to start the Cabaret Club GP mini-game, it takes him a long time to realize that the manager of Club Four Shine really is the same Yuki that worked as a hostess under Majima in Yakuza 0, even though he recognizes her voice and she actually introduces herself during the cutscene. Nico ends up having what amounts to a verbal facepalm when he connects the dots, commenting how the viewers are going to hate him for not paying attention again.
    • In the next episode Nico tries to justify his mind derp with the fact that Yuki said her name only once and that's why he missed it, which is false, as Koyuki, a hostess Yuki took as an apprentice, said Yuki's name few times in the introductory cutscene, only further digging the hole Nico made himself.
    • And let's not forget this adlibbing conversation between Nico and Majima:
      Nico!Majima : If you don't mind if I just stop by, Kiryuu-chan!!
Nico: Majima just comes in and...
Nico!Kiryu: Arrgh Majima, where have you been all this time?
Nico!Majima : I've been waiting for you to unlock your own cabaret club mini-game, Kiryu-chan. Of course, now you get to see what I've been through. It was fucking glorious.
Nico!Kiryu: Yeah, except this time I get to do it in the Dragon Engine.
Nico!Majima : Whatever at least I get to play it in 60fps, you piece of shit!
      Nico!Kiryu: Fuck you, Majima!
      Nico!Majima : No, fuck you Kiryu-chan!
      • Don't worry, he'll eventually show up at some point of the mini-game... which he did in episode 26.
  • Beginning of episode 6. It must be witnessed with your own eyes.
    • Overall throughout the episode Nico has a lot of fun with Dragon Engine and its physics, resulting in him trying to destroy every single piece of furniture he sees. Highlights include the beginning of the episode, Nico!Kiryu trying to cover the sleeping Kaoru with the table and a game of 'tag' with the female NPC, who formerly was unfazed with Nico!Kiryu destroying all the stuffs.
  • Kiryu's struggle of walking over fences.
  • Kiryu destroys Majima's favorite giant traffic cone.
Kiryu (Nico): Majima, come out, I know you're in this traffic cone! Get out here! Majima, I swear to god if you don't get out there...
    Nico destroys the cone
Kiryu (Nico): NO, MAJIMA! Oh shit, I killed Majima-san! NOOOOOOOOOOO-
Nico: Then Majima pokes his head out from another pole that's over there.
Majima (Nico): Kiryu-chan, what are you crying about?
Kiryu (Nico): Oh! Oh, Majima-san, I was just...sad cause I broke this cone, my favorite cone.
Majima (Nico): Yeah, it was my favorite cone too, but I used it all the damn times I decided to use this one.
Kiryu (Nico): Thank god, I cannot live without Majima.
Majima (Nico): Damn right you can't!
  • When returning to Bacchus to meet up with Date, Nico ended up triggering a sub-story where he escorts around a Korean celebrity around the city. Ending up in front of Bacchus, Nico joked that he left Kaoru behind the restaurant while taking his new friend as a new main character. He then makes a scenario where Kaoru is left with the bill and is forced to wash dishes.
  • Nico comes across the infamous "Be My Baby" substory in Episode 13. Poor Nico practically goes mad from the revelation when the club is revealed to him.
  • Also in episode 13, Nico finally makes it to the karaoke parlor. Hilarity ensues:
    • Nico fangirling loudly upon discovering the option to invite Majima to sing together... followed by the sheer disappointment over the song he keeps using for the intro not actually being available this timenote .
Nico: OH MY GOD, THIS IS OFFICIALLY THE BEST GAME EVER!!!
Nico: (later) ARE YOU KIDDING ME, DO THEY NOT HAVE 'BAKAMITAI' THIS GAME?! WHAT BLASPHEMY IS THIS?!
    • The Imagine Spot for the song "Pride from Despair" consists of scenes from the previous game, including the one where Majima crashes a truck into a building in order to get Kiryu. Nico enjoys the memories:
Majima (Nico): AHHH I GOT MY TRUCK!!! AHH-EBLGEH!!!!! *Nico's laughter*. Here comes the Majima train!!!
  • The many funny incorrect responses whenever Kiryu plays the multiple choice questions minigame. Some of the highlights are:
    • "TENDER CLEAVAGE!" note
    • "I LOVE BOOBS!!!" note
    • "I had a chicken once!" note
    • "I was Tojo Clan's fourth chairman" note
    • ...It was me. note
  • In episode 17, before Majima's chapter end, Nico was shocked and happy to see Majima and Makoto reunited... that is until the cliffhanger pops up. Cue Nico's Big "NO!".
  • The entire Panty Thief substories to the point where Nico jokes about Apollo Justice and Trucy Wright making a cameo in the game. It is a must to see.
  • After recruiting Aiko, Four Shine ended up receiving a penalty due to false accusation of using Yakuza thug style violence to get customers. Funny with how Nico portrays Kiryu, it might not be a lie...
Nico!Kiryu: DAMMIT!!! How did they find out!?
  • In the main story at Terada's funeral, Ryuji makes an appearance to mock the Tojo Clan. When Daigo tried to fight Ryuji out of rage, he proceeds to get push to the ground. As Kiryu puts it:
  • During the sub-story where Kiryu looks for the weapons dealer named Tatsu, he needs to prove his strength to Kinoshita, Tatsu's representative. Because the fight takes place along the waterway of Sotenbori, there was really only one way it could end:
Throws the guy off to the river
    Nico!Kiryu: I win.
    Nico: HAHAHA!
  • The sub-story where Kiryu helps a director, Sugano in helping produce and make Yakuza Sunset 4. Finally when given the choices, Nico picks the hilarious wrong options learning he could've done this all this time in previous side quest without failing. The highlights are:
    • "Welcome home, Master! ā™„"
      • In a scene where Kiryu was suppose to greet his young master back from school, Nico decides to select the wrong and ridiculous options; Nico hopes he doesn't get penalized.
Kiryu: Welcome home, Master! *While giving a heart shape pose*
Sugano: CUT! CUT CUT CUT! Kiryu-san, what are you doing!? This is the patriarch's son you're talking to, not some sleazeball in a maid cafe.
    • "Thank you for your service".
      • Knowing he can select again, he choose the second wrong option which is more hilarious too. One could wonder what he would do if he really did say those rejected options to the young Daigo back at Yakuza 0.
Kiryu: Young Master... (bows down) Thank you for your service. Prison must have taken quite a toll on you.
Sugano: CUT! CUT CUT CUT! Kiryu-san, you're suppose to be speaking to an elementary schooler, not an ex-con aniki!
    • "This knife is too sharp!"
      • Kiryu was suppose to play a scene where one of his subordinates fails him and he needs to cut his pinky for redemption. Since the first rejected option "Begone, Pinky" is too soft and ridiculous, this option is way too strong till the director himself freaks out, causing Nico to laugh himself silly for that moment.
Kiryu: The hell are you thinking, giving me this sharp of a knife! A dull one would have let me relish in the pain I am about to experience! Now you watch close!
        Sugano: EEP!!!
*Kiryu stabs knife on the cutting board while Nico stops for a while; Nico laughs himself silly after Sugano freaks out.*
Sugano: CUT! CUT CUT CUT! You don't think maybe you came on maybe a little strong, Kiryu-san? You're suppose to be apologizing, remember?
Kiryu: (No voice as Nico didn't read the line; Nico is still corpsing from earlier) Oh yeah. I thought it would be good to amp it up a bit.
Sugano: And it would worked great in a different situation. Sorry, but we need to retake that.
    • In the between, the fact that Kiryu stated the line below is a pure Hilarious in Hindsight when learning that the director has only done comedy films in the past and what has Kiryu been through in the past games.
Kiryu: (Comedy? There's no place for comedy in a yakuza story...)
  • Komaeda joins cabaret club as a hostess.
Nico: Komaeda is the ultimate hostess girl, he goes level beyond platinum.
Komaeda (Nico): A fuckin ruby, motherfucker! Hello sir, welcome to our club. Now, I have a question for you... do you like boats?
    Nico: And of course his customer is Izuru and he goes like;
Izuru (Nico): I motherfuckin love boats.
Komaeda (Nico): YES! Oh, I can tell we gonna have a good dip tonight, haha.
  • The entire substory where Kiryu does voice acting in a video game where he plays the protagonist Abe meeting up with his childhood friend, Michiue (played by Ryuzaki as his partner) after school. What Kiryu didn't know is that he's voice acting a BL game, which he soon realizes it during the recording session. Once again Nico decides to 'improvise' by selecting the wrong options to the point that Ryuzaki joins along out of pity. The highlights are:
    • "Wait, there's someone else here!"
      • Both wrong options makes Kiryu misinterpreted where the games purpose was. The first wrong option "You smell awful!" is funny as Kiryu misinterpreted the setting to be in a locker room instead of a classroom. But the second option above is hilarious where Kiryu makes it like a horror game.
Kiryu!Abe: Wait, there's someone else here!
        Ryuzaki!Michiue: Huh? I don't see anyone?
Kiryu!Abe: WHAT?! No, stay back! NOOOOOOO!
        Ryuzaki!Michiue: Abe!? ABEEE!!
Ryuzaki: COME ON, KIRYU-SAN! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!? You can't just decide this is going to be a horror game! Stick to the script, would you!?
Kiryu: Sorry! But you did good job staying in character, though!
Nico!Kiryu: I'm so proud of you!
Ryuzaki: Yeah, well that was out of pity, Kiryu-san!
    • "You're really annoying."
      • Upon the second choices, there's one particular wrong choice that somewhat related to what Kiryu's been doing in the entire Yakuza series.
Kiryu!Abe:You're really annoying, you know that? You should be glad I don't punch your lights out right now.
Ryuzaki!Michiue: What did you say!? Lets take it outside, Abe!
Ryuzaki: Hey! This isn't a fighting game! We're doing a drama remember!?
        Kiryu: Sorry! Bad habit!
Ryuzaki: Bad habit? Do you turn everything into a fight? Try to stay in character!!
    • And then Kiryu has to voice an orgasm in-game. Cue Kiryu's words after the recording.
Kiryu: HEY! You said this was an adolescent drama not some kind of... sex game?!
Kiryu!Nico: DAMMIT! Now everyone knows how my sex voice sounds like.
  • The return of Etsuko, the Obatarian from Yakuza 0. Hilarity Ensues when Kiryu gets the same treatment and 'thanks' after saving her much like Majima's.
  • Thanks to last episode's voice acting substory at the beginning of the next episode Nico plays the short fragment of Takaya Kuroda's (Kiryu's VA) work on a BL game. Nico tries to explain what happened in that scene:
Nico: The other guy was clearly upset, cause the other guy stole his cookies and then Kiryu, being the kind soul that he was, let him his own cookies, but being so excited he started eating all of these cookies all at once, which made him slightly out of breath and panting, cause that's how I get too when I have a lot of cookies too and Kiryu calmly saying "Drink the milk" and then the other guy says "Yes, on my face Kiryu-san!" So then Kiryu took the milk and threw it at the guy's face and then end scene! Yeah. That's totally what happened.
  • OBJECTION!
  • In episode 26, the entire Yuki's reunion of both Majima and Youda. Namely her conversation with Majima as if they're acting Like an Old Married Couple if he brought her the vinegar she asked even it's 20 years ago.
    • In the following episode, it continues where both Majima and Yuki mocks each others 'new looks'.
    • Also Kiryu's surprise that what Majima told him in the previous game of Majima being the 'Lord of the Night' isn't a lie.
  • With Majima showing up in the Cabaret sidequest, Nico jokes about that one of their missing hostess, and secret weapon against Kanzaki is Goromi-Chan!!! Apparently this hostess has infinite health and max stats in everything. However it turns out to be Yuki and he's even impress upon learning that she's a Diamond hostess instead of the regular Platinum hostess.
  • In episode 27, Kiryu's attempt to take Haruka to the Gravure Photo Studio. Unfortunately, they don't allow him to enter since Haruka's underage.
    • He reacted to this by crying that Haruka ruins everything for him, and wonders why he even had kids. Only for Haruka to point out that she's not his biological daughter.
    • Three episodes later, Nico finally progresses through the main story far enough to be able to leave Haruka behind. As Kiryu and Kaoru discuss further actions outside Serena, this happens:
Kaoru: There's not much time. Let's head to the Millenium Tower.
Kiryu!Nico: (dramatically) Alright, it's time. Now that I know that Haruka's finally safe and sound, it's time, Kaoru.
      Kaoru!Nico: Time for what?
      Kiryu!Nico: Time for—
(Video abruptly cuts to the gravure photoshoot minigame, zooming in on the model's breasts.)
      Kiryu!Nico: —TENDER CLEAVAAAAAGE!!!
  • Nico's brief freakout at the infamous Bait-and-Switch ending of the Wire Dilemma scene. Made more hilarious by it being the same kind of troll cut Nico himself does in his videos on a semi-regular basis, leading to several viewers mistaking it for one of such edits until Nico reacted to it.

    Judgement (Judge Eyes)
  • During one of the tutorials, after he bought food inside the Poppo shop, a street fight tutorial occurs. What does he do when that happens? He lead the fight ''inside the Poppo' shop, claiming they're wrecking the place outside. Much like his LP in Yakuza Kiwami 2, Nico manages to wreck most of the Poppo area even pulling off the same brutal joint Heat Action with the employee. The only difference is he doesn't get banned from buying items after buying a perks.
  • His "back to" intro for this LP is a clip of Kiryu singing "Judgement-Shinpan-."
  • Nico's newfound appreciation for the drone, chasing horrified people with it.
Yagami (Nico): Here I come, comin through comin in hot!
    bumps into passerby
Passerby (Nico): Oh my god, oh my god, what the fuck?!
    he starts running away
Yagami (Nico): You come back here!
    Passerby (Nico): AAAAAAAA! AAAAAAUGH!
Yagami (Nico): I'M GONNA GET YOU!
passerby continues to scream as the drone crashes into a car, making video explode
  • Nico's Ultimate Bullshit strikes again, as the very first ability locked behind a QR code he finds is Tiger Drop, the only one which requires flying a drone to find (this is even few chapters before you can get a book which makes a sound whenever you're around a QR code). This wasn't even his original goal, as he stumbled upon it accidentally when he searched for a cat to level up one of the Friends.
  • Seeing that the game has a lot of DLC items and decorations, Nico went on a shopping spree... without realizing that two Haruka idol figurines he got are of the same Haruka from two previous Kiwami games he played, accidentally spoiling himself on future titles.
    • Included in the DLC were actual cats, which you could place on shelves and including golden King Koro-Nyan statue, Nico dubbed Yagami "Crazy Cat Detective".
  • Nico's slow descent into madness trying to find QR codes for his drone, culminating in finding an anime girl poster and driving directly into her cleavage.
  • After a two-week hiatus due to Nico moving, the intro shows that 84 years have passed, Kamurocho is up in flames, and Kaito is dead. What has Yagami been doing all this time? Why, searching for more QR codes of course!
    • Instead of a QR code, Yagami finds a hidden Mickey symbol. And then Donald shows up and blows up what's left of Kamurocho. Luckily none of it actually happened.
  • Just like in his LP of Yakuza Kiwami, Nico most of the time is unable to finish the intro of his episode due to enemies suddenly appearing in the alley he's in, the peak being episode 10 where he gets interrupted three times before he decides to enter a building.
    • From the same episode Nico talked about two pictures he took during his move, first in his old bedroom and second in the new office and when he posted them on Twitter, the poses he did were turned into a meme by his channel Discord, with some examples.
    • Nico seemingly doesn't learn, as at the start of episode 13 he stands on street again and he runs inside Kamuro Theater, except this time enemies follow him inside, wrecking the smoking area where Yosuke is at.
Nico: RRRAUGH, HELP ME OUT GUYS! destroys glass panels surrounding them
    • And then in next episode he gets attacked during the outro.
Nico: I cannot even finish my episodes, can I?
    • Episode 17 begins with distraught Yagami running into Smile Burger and wrecking havoc, as he asks himself why the hell was he standing outside when starting the episode.
tables and chairs lying on the floor
Yagami (Nico): Uff, disaster avoided, guys.
      • Combined with the fact that after that, you could see through the window terrified female NPC from that fast food joint still running away.
    • Episode 18, Yagami in horror tries to run inside the building to hide from thugs which hasn't unlocked yet due to story reasons.
    • Episode 22, Nico still doesn't learn as even when he runs to another alley, enemies still attack him. However he managed to learn a trick where if you turn on drone camera, enemies dissappear, Yagami making various thugs "evaporate".
    • Episode 30, Nico nearly started the episode on the street, but then remembered how stupid of a idea that was before running inside Burger Ki- Smile Burger.
Nico: The thugs are coming this way, seek shelter!
      • Doesn't stop them from attacking Yagami just as Nico says his final words in the same episode.
    • Episode 31, Nico finishes his outro in a hurry as he runs away terrified from the enemies.
  • Nico's reaction to discovering the two Heat Actions that involve cars along a certain street:
  • Nico gets to the side case where he has to defend Hoshino from accusations of eating the cake Saori bought, and since this case is a blatant reference to Ace Attorney, when Nico gets ahead of himself and shows evidence in wrong order, this happens:
Yagami (Nico): Wait, ain't [Saori] gonna blow up my HP bar?
Judge (Nico): Oh that's right, I'm sorry- HP bar from AA shows and blows up AAAABABLEUABDUDYAB
Yagami (Nico): Ok, there we go, now it feels like Ace Attorney game!
    • Earlier when making an objection, Hoshino switches to appropriate voice.
Hoshino: If you ask me, Mafuyu-san is pretty suspicious too! (Nico) Oh wait, I gotta switch to my Phoenix voice. ''grunts and voice as Phoenix (Nico). If you ask me, Mafuyu-san is pretty suspicious too!
Mafuyu (Nico): What the- nani?! You suddenly sound so professional.
      Phoenix (Nico): Damn straight, girlfriend.
  • All throughout Chapter 4, Nico has been joking about Shintani dying while Nico spends time on things like playing Virtua Fighter and meeting Madonkadonk in a cabaret club instead of warning him. Guess what happens in the end.
  • When they arrive at ADDC, Hoshino's model gets stuck on bunch of seats, unable to reach the reception desk, leading to a funny moment where Yagami complains about not being able to hear him from that far. Bonus points for receptionist looking at stunlocked Hoshino and holding a normal conversation with him.
Yagami (Nico): Hoshino, stop embarrassing me.
  • When Nico gets to the research lab where Shono resides, what does he do? Why destroy every desk and PC with valuable information, of course!
Yagami (Nico): It's all very normal, it's all part of the process!
  • Yagami tackles a child.
  • In a friendship event, Nasugawa complains to Yagami about losing the restaurant's special recipe. It reveals that... someone unexpected is working there.
Yagami: And I assume no one else in the restaurant had it memorized?
Nico: Got it memorized! Nope, not even Axel in the back. Axel's in the back with the hairdo on and a apron.
Axel (Nico): Hey I'm trying to work here, alright! You can't let that shit go, can you, Nasugawa?! That one time I don't have to memorized. Eh, knack, knack...
Nico: Goes back to flipping freaking patties and shit.
    • Bonus points for Yagami using Axel's voice and Nico somehow coming to conclusion that beef bowl restaurant serves patties.
Yagami (Nico): That's why I became a detective, to find out the secret of Krabby Patties!
  • After getting killed by a tiger, Nico restarts the board and gets Koro-nyan Mode. The moment it ends, Kuro-nyan spawns on the same spot as Yagami, making him lose everything.
  • During the section where Saori needs to work as a hostess, you're given an option to dress her up how you want. Nico to keep his work hidden censors her face.
Ten minutes of careful make-up coordination later...
  • Nico over span of few chapters while focusing on the main story managed to collect a ton of side cases. Some people are not happy about it.
Yagami: Excuse me, are you Shizue Kuwayama-san?
Shizue (Nico): Where the fuck have you been, I've been straight up sitting in this cafe shop for three days!
  • Twisted Trio marking their territory.
Yosuke: Yeah. Apparently the Twisted Trio hated when other perverts would try to muscle on their territories. (Nico) They marked it off by just jerking off in every spot of the city! It's gross. Don't bring a blacklight anywhere.
Yagami (Nico): Oh god, oh... oh god, I stepped on something sticky today, was that-
  • Just... whatever this is.
  • Nico wants to run inside Kim's restaurant to hide from thugs, but just as door opening animation plays, the game decided to snap him out of it and initiate the battle, leaving Nico very baffled. Later the comments offered the suggestion that Kim was just that much of a dick and closed the door on Yagami when he saw thugs approach.
    • Later in the episode when on a date, Nico gets known glitch where the girlfriend's model does not spawn in next to Yagami, making it look like he's just taking picture of himself to send it to her later.
Nico: First I do this, in batting cages I made her watch me play, this date is horrible.
  • In one of the side cases where Yagami gets scammed for 100,000Ā„ by a old bartender lady, she threatens Yagami she will kill herself if he doesn't pay up. Nico is exhilarated to see that the game gives him "Don't Pay" option... until his ultimate dissapointment where it turns out that no, you cannot let the scamming old lady die.
  • Yagami (Nico): We have to blend in, Sugiura! (Proceeds to run into chairs, making them fly everywhere)
  • Nico pointing out the irony of Yagami saying there is no need to attack researchers ("No need to get violent"), as they are there only for Shono... only for them to start punching scientists in the face the moment the chase sequence starts.
  • Nico due to not realizing he has to turn on the light to make the final fight with Cane Man easier, dies for the third time... and accidentally turns on the Easy mode difficulty when game gives him the option, forcing him to restart entire sequence.
  • Having been sitting out on sidecases for few episodes due to focus on the main story, when Nico finally gets to his office and wants to play the music to heal himself, he suddenly activates a side case. It's all fine and dandy, he goes to sleep and when it switches to day, Nico wants to exit the office... except he's stopped by another side case.
Nico: I cannot leave my office, help.
  • The bulk of episode 42. Nico triggers a lengthy sidequest that seems to have some connection to the Keihin Gang, and prays that completing it can finally stop their attacks. The sidequest, which involves the gang putting a bounty on Yagami, gets progressively more ridiculous, with all of Yagami's friends coming to his aid and helping him fight off the thugs while everybody else is chasing him because money. The gang leaders still escaped, which already put Nico in a bad mood, but Yagami almost quoting Sora in a cheesy Power of Friendship speech seems to fix everything. Then it turns out that the reward for the quest isn't that great (that being 600k yen, which at this point of the game is barely anything when 1. To even unlock this sidequest you needed to complete all friendship events and nearly all side cases outside of one and 2. It being a much smaller number compared to 10 million bounty that was put on Yagami's head). Then Kim messages him a warning about the Keihin Gang being back, causing Nico to go Laughing Mad and channel the enraged Dimitri from a recent Fire Emblem: Three Houses episode.
Nico: ...I cannot fucking believe that.
  • While tailing Ishimatsu, Nico gets constantly surprised by him turning around and nearly gets caught if not for the fact... that he stood behind street sign pole and the only reason why the NPC didn't see him was because Ishimatsu's face got hidden behind the pole due to how camera was positioned.
Nico: There we go baby! Subtle like my middle name.
  • Just like with his Kiwami 2 LP, Nico does live rendition of another karaoke song, this time Judgment-Shinpan-, down to doing same poses as Kiryu and playing on thr guitar... That being his Keyblade replica. It ends with Kim calling him about the Keihin Gang and raising his threat level to 100%.
    • What makes this funnier is later in the episode Nico accidentally left out the intro outtake in the middle of the final boss. He shortly later took down the video to fix the mistake.

    Yakuza 3
  • Nico is wondering whenever he's able to pause the cutscenes, so he tries pressing various buttons on his Dualsense... the very moment the guy who Nico was wondering if they are new mentions they're Daigo.
    • As a result of missing that line he later thinks that guy getting shot in the intro isn't Daigo, but a new character named Nakahara, who is just another gunshot wounded person, completely unrelated to Daigo at the time.
  • Kiryu has a breakdown over the loss of his environment breaking powers.
Kiryu!Nico: Haruka, you wanna watch daddy blow some shit up? Watch this! runs into bunch of bikes, but nothing happens Wait, why isn't it working? Haruka, what did you do?!
    Haruka!Nico: I didn't do anything!
Kiryu!Nico: Usually things explode when I run into them! It's like they are glued to the floor. Haruka, what happened?!
    Kiryu!Nico: What.
  • Nico becomes frightened when Haruka turns out to be a skilled bowler and gives him a close match.
  • The intro this time:
Nico: And now back to Ya—
    Kiryu!Nico: Hey, Nico.
    Nico: Yeah?
    Kiryu!Nico: What's that?
    Nico: What's what?
    Kiryu!Nico: TIGER DROP!
    Nico: *WHAKK* AAAUUUGHH—
  • As part of hostess minigame, Nico has to recruit a new hostess for the club. He meets a girl named Jo, so obviously he makes her stage name Jo Amon.
Kiryu!Nico: So you're saying that I should gather information and coordinate Jo Amon's- (Nico reverts to his normal voice) Goddammit, I'm already regretting my decision.
  • After successfully romancing all the hostesses, Kiryu gets a congratulatory email from Kaoru Sayama — his love interest from Yakuza 2. Aside from the fact that Kiryu's ex is congratulating him for being a playboy, Nico's confusion, having already forgotten who Kaoru is, is what sells it, with his comment section being quick to call him out on it.
  • Speaking of which, it has been a recurring gag throughout the Let's Play that Nico would keep forgetting the names of or failing to recognize several Yakuza characters such as Daigo, Makoto and Kaito, much to Nico's great embarassment.
  • Nico dubbed Taichi, one of the orphans, Japanese Cartman based on his red shirt and size.
    Ayako!Nico: But we're already at...
    Taichi!Nico: Shut up!
  • Nico's reaction to why Riona won't reciprocate Mitsuo's feelings has to be seen to be believed.
  • The recurring Mr. Try and Hit Me substory was looking to be even harder than the previous games', moving around super fast in a circle... for a split second before Nico knocked him out cold in one punch on the first try.
  • The reveal that Date works for the Keihin News, much to Nico's dismay.
    Lost Judgment

  • Despite all the warnings about the massive spoiler that's revealed early on in the gamenote , Nico is extremely underwhelmed and wonders what the big deal is.
  • Kaito expressing his grievance with the agency's lack of fame.

Reading the thesis, Nico starts to praise Mr. Kitty's writing style and the theories inside, only to reveal he was kidding and Mr. Kitty had written "meow" 300,000 times, cursing Mr. Kitty out when he complains about him telling him to work on his English
    • Episode 46: Nico and Mr. Kitty express surprise at how long the former has been working on the main story, with Nico saying normally he'd be distracted with a side case or a squirrel by now. He then suddenly looks around for a squirrel after Mr. Kitty mentions it, only to remember he had already done the squirrel side case, and when Mr. Kitty says he's acting like a dog, Nico fires back that Mr. Kitty is a dog.
    Mr. Kitty: *confused meow*
Nico: YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN!
    • Episode 47: Nico wishes Mr. Kitty a happy Easter and asks if the Easter Bunny is real, knowing Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy are, but confused as to where the Easter Bunny fits into Easter. Mr. Kitty tells Nico that the Easter Bunny was at the Last Supper with Jesus, and Nico refuses to believe it until he looks up the picture and sees a giant rabbit at the Last Supper. Then the Easter Bunny barges in and kills Nico because He Knows Too Much
  • Nico takes the time to thank the shady bar's thugs for not attacking him while he's on the phone with Tsukumo.
  • Upon seeing the Beef Zone on the map, Nico makes a beeline for it, seemingly intent on murdering Kim-san.
  • Nico!Yagami insulting Kaito, namely his inability to keep up, by calling him slower than Haruka.
    Nico!Kaito: Who's Haruka?
    Nico!Yagami: I don't know!
  • In another instance of Nico's bullshit powers, he jokingly suggests going to beat up the Japanese Delinquents harassing the shop owner... which Yagami and Kaito then proceed to do. Though when he realizes it, he questions why he's so shocked considering the series' love of Crossing the Line Twice.
  • When Nico goes to collect some new DLC he unlocked, he ends up spoiler-ing himself to a lot of the School related stuff, including boxing, mech creation, dancing, and motorcycle racing.
  • Tsukumo and Sugiura end up beating Yagami and Kaito to the meeting at the restaurant.
Nico!Yagami: How did you guys beat us here?
Nico!Tsukumo: Because we took a cab like a normal person!
    • It's especially hilarious when you consider that Nico spent up to twenty minutes at this point exploring Yokohama, giving the two plenty of time to beat Yagami and Kaito there.
  • When prompted to ask questions, Yagami decides to start by asking where the chairman's hair went.
  • Naturally, Nico exaggerates Tsukumo's hatred of scalpers and resellers.
  • The Pawn Shop owner carrying Tsukumo's figure is so impressed by Yagami's skateboarding, he decides to give him the limited figure for free
    Nico!Yagami: Wow! Thanks, skateboard!
  • When faced with the reseller Yakuza, he decides to show his true power by entering boxing stance and activating EX Heat Mode... just as he's knocked away by the bat.
    Nico: Agh, my power!
  • In Nico's pinned comment for Episode 4, Nico can't help but Lampshade how much of a Recurring Boss the group of bullies are.
Dude, how are these bullies not dead at this point?
  • Upon finding a "Mysterious Mushroom" on the school roof, Yagami immediately eats it despite Tsukumo trying to dissuade him, ending up on a drug trip.
  • After doing a running jump from one roof to another, Nico points out that he probably could have just hopped down.
  • Nice takes issue with the harmlessness of Tsukumo's Smoke Ball.
  • After finally escaping, Nico decides to see if he can re-enter the school... and the moment he does, everyone recognizes him as the "pervert" and swarms him.
  • While riding his hoverboard around town, Nico ends up getting hit by a car. He initially tries playing it for humour... until he opens his menu and sees all the health it took.
  • Nico wastes no time having fun with the "First Penguin" analogy Yagami cites when explaining Bystander Syndrome.
  • Nico finds it hilarious that Kosuke's the first boss in the gauntlet then he starts the mission and sees his health and what they meant by "basic skills".
  • Nico responses to getting confronted by Kyoko Amasawa:
    • In outrage of being busted by a High School girl, Yagami immediately picks a fight, only to be on the receiving end of a Curb-Stomp Battle.
    • Naturally, Nico loves how "Use EX Surrender" is an option against Kyoko.
    • Kyoko tells Yagami to come quietly and takes his pants off.
    • Instead of actually observing his surroundings when given the chance, Nico first tries using an Extract against her and calling a student to help while accusing Amasawa of having a gun.
    • Even after hearing Yagami's case and his proposition to become her club's advisor, Amasawa tases him.
    • Amasawa's test turns out to be that she and her brother poisoned Yagami's tea, and he has three minutes to find the antidote.
    • In yet another display of Nico's bullshit powers, when Amasawa explains the sugar baby issue, Nico ad-libs that the thug threatening the sugar baby is part of the Keihin Gang. Guess who it turns out being.
  • Really, the amount of Tempting Fate Nico does in regards to the Keihin Gang by joking about their return, considering their eventual role in the School Stories.
    • His first pick for Comment of the Day was one about a newspaper that the Keihin Gang were Deader than Dead.
    • Before the third fight against the bully group, he jokes that they brought the Keihin gang back to use against him.
    • It finally comes to ahead in Episode 8. Nico is especially not happy when learns of the Neo Keihin Gang. The rest of the episode is spent in a Heroic BSoD.
(slowly absorbs what he just heard)
Nico: Stomach just sank so low.
    • The next episode's intro is Nico screaming.
  • Nico initially doesn't think that dance club really needs help with their routine... but he changes his mind the more of their routine he watches.
  • After interrogating the two bullies about Mikoshiba, Yagami proceeds to toss them off the roof.
  • On his way to show a good method of grinding EXP, he ends up getting hit by a car. he claims he did it to give himself a handicap.
  • When Yagami tries offering his services to three ex-students looking for a time capsule, he sulks away when they deny his services.
  • Nico ends up utterly baffled when the Big Bad of the School Stories is stated to be called "The Professor", just like the Serial Killer in the The Great Ace Attorney which he's also playing.
  • Due to Nico doing school clubs for the first few episodes since they unlocked at night, it leads to unintentionally hilarious moments where the eerily empty school hallways suddenly get filled with students and teachers relevant to the clubs:
    • Yagami meeting up with the dance club's advisor, who's just staring off into distance through a window.
Nico: It would be funny if I had to go to first person mode and identify him. "Man, I wonder if this is the guy! It could be this fire extenguisher."
    • Yagami ignoring two students suddenly showing up in front of MRC, trying to shake down another.
Nico: It would be funny, imagine if I leave, and then like wait for a few days, doing main story shit, and they're still standing there.
Student (Nico): We're not leaving till you get that fuckin money!
Toki (Nico): Seriously dude?! Please, let me go, let me tell my parents! I'm hungry and I gotta pee.
    • After it's proven Sanbonmatsu was cheating using his custom fighting stick software, he tries to run off with evidence... where suddenly during the chase and on the school's rooftop suddenly there's ton of students.
Nico: (during chase) Where did these students come from, it's the middle of the night! Of course everyone had to come out here for the midnight classes!
    • Yagami meeting up with robotics club's advisor in a empty cafeteria.
Akuta: There aren't many students around right now.
    • When Itokura runs off from MRC after seeing Kento, Yagami asks two conviniently placed students next to the club about where they saw her go. Once the convo ends, they just evaporate from existence.
Yagami (Nico): Holy shit, they vanished! Who the fuck was I talking to?! Oh no, ghosts, there really are ghosts in this school after all! That fake manequinn story wasn't a lie! They're all out to get me, I gotta tell Itokura about this! I gotta get to the roof! ITOKURA!
    • Yagami meeting up with Sakura and Itokura at cafeteria.
Sakura (Nico): We should do this again soon! Haha, also at the middle of the night!
      - - -
Yagami: Okay, well how's school going then? It's not so bad, right?
Itokura (Nico): I'd probably be more interesting if it was daytime.
Yagami (Nico): Ok, we need to stop talking about this, will you shut the fuck up?
  • After Nico learns from penguins that he literally only had to leave the school to get message from Amasawa to progress school clubs, he proceeds to do just that... except he gets a message from someone unexpected.
Kim (Nico): Hey, Yagami. It's your boi, Kim. I just want to let you know that the Keihin's Gang gonna be-
Yagami (Nico): OH FUCK ME, NO! DELETE, DELETE! message dissapears Oh, ok, thank god. Amasawa messages him Oh god, it's another fuckin text, it's- oh, it's Amasawa, ok, we're fine. Dodged a bullet there, guys.
  • Nico's experience with Sonic Fighters, due to his limited knowledge of the franchise, which culminates in him calling Espio poor budget character that looks constantly pissed, because he only shows up in this game, despite ironically him being the one side character that actually is a pretty relevant extra in the Sonic franchise. note
    • At one point when Nico pauses the game, the emulation glitches out, causing the camera to move behind Sonic's back, which makes the fights unnecessarily harder, especially once Nico faces off against shadow clone of Sonic and Metal Sonic, former having a move where the entire screen just starts spinning uncontrollably.
    • "Sonic ASS"
  • Episode 10, which focuses on an e-sports club, specifically them playing Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown. It's pretty surprising and funny, since this is actually second club that Nico manages to unlock, which is pretty uncommon, as that usually falls onto Robotics Club. Not to mention that since in both his Kiwami 2 and Judgment let's plays there were episodes where the main point was him going through various Virtua Fighter games, Let's just say that he was more than ecstatic about this club.
  • Yagami's perfect tailing skills.
Yagami (Nico): (runs in front of Oshikiri, causing the meter to skyrocket, pulling out his phone to act "casual" in panic) Yeah, it's just your old pal Yagami, looking at his phone. (Oshikiri runs off) That was close. Damn, I'm so stealthy.
  • Members of the Robotics Club getting an almost orgasmic experience upon seeing a girl walk into their room.
Okitegawa (Nico): Yagami-san, who is this? WHY DOES SHE SMELL SO GOOD?!
Sakura: I saw the code program she made in her first year workshop! Her code was perfect, beautiful even...
Sakura (Nico): I had sex with it.
Itokura (Nico): Yeah, whatever you wish, you virgin.
  • Nico's growing frustration with Yagami tripping over in the skateboard racing.
    (Yagami trips over grass)
Nico: Oh c'mon dude, nooooooooo! You just touch, you tap that grass and it fuckin throws you-
    (Yagami trips over grass again)
Nico: What even did it, no! C'mon-
    (Yagami trips over statue)
Nico: Yagami, you drunk asshole, way-
    (Yagami trips over garbage collector)
    (Nico quits the race)
  • In Episode 14, after completing the introduction to the motorcycle club, Nico remembers that there was something motorcycle-related in the crane games at Club Sega. He then spends an absurd amount of time and money there, having convinced himself that he could win a paint job, parts or an entirely new motorcycle in a crane game. Naturally he's extremely dejected when finding out for all his efforts all he got was a motorcycle miniature that had nothing to do with the minigame. But that's not where the hilarity ends! After finally winning the motorcycle miniature he decides to at least put it on his shelf only to find out that Yagami doesn't even take the miniature out of the box, simply placing the box on his shelf. His shock and confusion at that moment says it all.
    Nico: WHAT IS GOING ON!?
  • As Nico continues to go through the Motorcycle side case and has his first meeting with Bomber, the game automatically makes him talk with two members of the Biker Gang Prevention Group. One of the members, Seyama, suggests to meeting at a nearby cafe... which just so happens to be Plage, the cafe where Sawa from the main story is waiting. The moment the club related cutscene ends, Nico gets thrust into main plot immediately.
Seyama: Instead of standing here and talking, why don't we go to the cafe?
After Yagami finishes talking to them, ending the quest outside the cafe, cue another cutscene.
Nico: Plage, this is where Sawa- OH GOD, IT WAS THE SAME PLACE!
Yagami walks back towards the cafe.
Nico: Oh my god, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! IT LOCKED ME INTO IT! Son of a bitch! All I wanted was to take a picture of a squirrel!
    • Bonus points for Nico being distracted by the squirrel graffiti right next to Yagami's seat.
    • Ironically the reason why Nico joked in the first place was due to the Comment of the Day:
Jonathan Dean: Meanwhile at Plageā€¦ Sawa-sensei has ordered her 100th cup of coffee while trying to figure out how time has seemingly frozen. She is slowly losing her grip on reality after waiting what feels like more than a month for Yagami to arrive. Will she ever escape this never-ending nightmare? Find out next time on Lost Judgement!
  • Kamulop, server of justice.
Unsavory Barker (Nico): Ah, you broke my neck, you fucker! Augh, I can't fuckin bend my arms, you piece of shit!
    Yagami: How's this?!
Unsavory Barker: Gah, what even are you?!
  • In a terrible and yet funny moment, Nico finally unlocks the squirrel substory in episode 22 and goes on a hunt for all of the squirrels he found up to that point, plus some extra ones he finds along the way. This hour long process is rendered POINTLESS when he loses to a powerful Nouveau Riche, losing all the progress he made.
Nico: Well that put a downer note on that.
  • After the unfortunate ending of the previous episode, episode 23 marks the grand return of Judgment LP's Nico running into inside of buildings in fear that enemies will interrupt him and impede his progress, with nouveau riche just showing up outside of the fast food joint.
Nico: They're on the prowl. Oh god... is this the same guy that killed me before?
  • Shortly after leaving the boxing gym, Nico picks up a key chain for some guy, who responds by giving him a golden plate worth roughly 100,000 yen. When Nico expresses bewilderment at this, the old man justifies it by saying it's his lucky keychain.
  • When Emily asks Yagami what is the name of the other regular at their bar, Nico forgets, but tries to cheat by looking into case files menu for the bar school story to see Mori's full name... after which he still gets it wrong anyway, because he thought Mori was a shortened version of Morimura.
    (after getting the reply wrong)
Nico: Wait, what? His name is Morimura though! Did I fuck that up? (after looking into case files again) Wait, his name is just Mori! NO, I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST SHORT FOR MORIMURA, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! NO, I EVEN READ IT HERE AND AND STILL GOT IT- I AM THE ONE TRULY WASTED HERE?!
  • A meta case of Black Comedy: Yagami screaming in anguish after finding Sawa's dead body in the thumbnail of Episode 33 is an emote in the NicoB discord channel. The emote's name? YagamiNut.
Persona 4 Specialist playing in the background
Nico: Lemme give out a quick shilling shoutout to the Picky Penguin Discord, where you can use emotes like that blood curdling scream that Yagami let out last episode, you know, the one where the person he cared for was horribly and brutally murdered? Well you can use that as an amazing emote, which we call yagaminut! That emotional scream has been reduced to a nut emote! But it's a great emote, not gonna lie. It's also a great place if you wanna talk about any of these series or you meet up with other Penguins and get into great shenanigans, we have a lot of fun over there!
  • Due to how weirdly side content in relation to main story is done in this game, Nico is forced to basically finish off entirety of school stories during noon section of chapter 8 note , but wants to do other stuff in between to at least give the side content episodes some variety... except by episode 39 it turns out he's unable to finish any of the girlfriends at the time, because he forgot to prepare Kyoko's event (you need to level up her intimacy by night and then view her events in noon) and other three he still has available will only continue during night.
Nico: I can't get a single consistent fuckin' episode, I have to spread this shit out like fucking butter! I can't get a central theme for these episodes!
  • Nico's comments on Yagami's Stakeout Disguise, noting that it's literally just Yagami wearing a beanie and sunglasses and then ad-libbing Yagami putting on a Mario hat to disguise himself as Mario.
  • After joking the entire series that not only Keihin Gang is finally dead (which it turned out to be not, much to Nico's chagrin), it feels riveting to see him constantly joke about Kim also being dead, until it turns out he's one of the final Biker Gang rivals, (something which Nico doesn't realize due to how much he repressed him) until the game has to spell out, that yes, this is Kim.
Nico: ...wait. beat, followed by a coughing fit Oh god no. Please god no. No. YagamiNut shows up on screen NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO- You've got to be kidding me.
Nico: Fucking blood comes out of Yagami's eyes and nose.
Kim (Nico): Uh, Yagami-san? What's that look on your face? Yagami, why did you block me on your phone? Yagami? YAGAMI? Yagami? Yagami? Yagami?
    • To add insult to injury, Nico is now hell bent on making sure the "death" part of Death Races comes true... but still loses to Kim anyway on the final stretch.
Nico: I hate you so fucking much, Kim.
    • Even funnier when you note that while Nico!Yagami despises Kim, canon!Yagami is good friends with him.
  • Episode 43, after Nico spend eight past episodes to finish off school stories, he's finally able to return to the main story, which he's been itching to do for a while now, since it got to an very interesting point... that is, until suddenly one of the girlfriends, Minato, calls Yagami and tells him they need to perform NOW, all while he was about to interrogate Mamiya in her involvement in Mikoshiba's murder. The worst/best part being, yes, you can just leave Mamiya with Higashi and Sugiura at Charles and do side content in that moment, which the rest of the episode turns into.
    • What makes this even funnier is that at first it looks like the phone call is actually part of the main story and Nico doesn't remember who Minato was until she showed up on screen.
  • Nico begins episode 46 inside of an Poppo store, to avoid having to deal with enemies... completely ignoring that enemies can fight him inside Poppo stores and so one of the passing thugs notices him.
Nico: We even talked to Yui Mamiya and even got like- encounter noise What? I'm in the store! NOOOO, C'MON! While I'm in the middle of my- I'm not from you guys anywhere, am I?
  • Nico discovers that drinking milk lowers his drunk gauge and goes to sleep at his office, only to wake up still drunk. Surprised, he asks Mr Kitty there (cats which show up at both offices, offering random items) for a remedy. He gets carton of milk.
    • Nico also wonders about the ethics of the eco bar in Bar District that sells Divine Water, despite him constantly finding it on the streets as a collectible.

    Yakuza 4
  • His "back to" intro for the series is him noticing that Kiryu is not around and he goes searching for him, with the last call having an echo effect.
    • That is until Part 9, when Kiryu does make an appearance. The echo effect gets interrupted when Kiryu greets Nico with a quick "what?" that spooks Nico. It goes back to normal the following part, and then comes back once Kiryu joins the story proper.
  • While exploring as Akiyama, Nico ends up finding a pachinko parlor and decides to give it a go... and has absolutely no idea what he's supposed to be doing, growing more and more confused even when he actually figures something out. This gets funnier when a beginning of a substory has Hana accuse him of goofing off by playing pachinko, with Nico adlibbing Akiyama as being very defensive about his inability to play it properly.
Hana: Oh, Cheif! Out wandering around as usual, I see.
    Hana (Nico): Where's my food?
Akiyama: Well, I don't know about "wandering around." I'm a busy guy, you know?
Hana: Oh, spare me! You were off playing pachinko or something, weren't you?
Akiyama (Nico): NO!! Shut up! I Was not, Hana-chan!
Hana (Nico): You were off trying to figure out how they fucking work, were you?
Akiyama (Nico): No!! I totally understand the games.
Hana (Nico): DON'T GIVE ME THAT! YOU DON'T KNOW FUCKING SHIT ABOUT THEM!
Akiyama (Nico): I DO ALRIGHT?! I DO! IT'S NOT MY FAULT THAT IT'S FUCKING CONFUSING!!!
  • When Nico is given an opportunity to name two cats at the end of a substory, what does he call them? Deez and Nuts Bitch.
    • Even funnier, when he's given the opportunity to name a baby later on, he names them.....Fuck Face. Its made even better when all the main characters say how great the name is right after this.
  • Nico's utter confusion over Mari's various costumes in the massage minigame.
  • Nico's Stunned Silence upon seeing the infamous No Yay scene between Saejima and Haruka where the former accidentally falls on top of the latter, going as far as to pause the game out of horror and disgust. He later looks up Haruka's age and learns that she's still thirteen.
Nico: Oh my God, she's thirteen!? Jesus Christ! Come on, Japan! Jesus Christ.
  • Kiryu's confusion over not being the only player character, wondering why lockers were opened or why completion rewards were already claimed.
