“WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! I’M NOT HER BOYFRIEND!! AND… SHE’S NOT MY GIRLFRIEND!! I’VE NEVER HAD A GIRLFRIEND IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!”

Episode 1:

  • Gojo picking everything wrong with Kitagawa's first attempt at a cosplay costume with his years of experience at sewing. When he sees Kitagawa is so hurt she starts crying, he instantly throws himself to the ground, bowing and begging her to kill him as punishment.
  • When Kitagawa describes the ero game that has the character she wants to cosplay to Gojo, at first he thinks she is teasing him with details about the setting, but he soon realizes that isn't the case.
Gojo: Those eyes are... Dead. Serious!
  • Gojo asks Kitagawa about the eroge videogame she wants to make cosplay of, pointing out they're supposed to be aimed at people over 18 (they're 15-16 at the time). The words visually go in through one ear and out through the other with her smiling innocently all the while.
    • Then, we get a take of the two in chibi mode, with Gojo saying that he thought that girls didn't play those games, and Kitagawa matter-of-factly replying that everyone does. A caption immediately appears below them (with a "PING-PONG" sounding on the background) that reads "May not apply to everyone".

Episode 2:

  • Kitagawa shows Gojo a magazine she bought to learn how to make cosplay costumes, and Gojo eagerly states that the mag easily explains all steps to take... causing him to realize the scale of Kitagawa's Epic Fail while Kitagawa knows exactly what Gojo is thinking.
Gojo: (dreading and thinking) Why couldn't she do it if she had a book that's this crystal clear?
Kitagawa: (embarrassed and thinking) "Why couldn't she do it if she had a book that's this crystal clear?" is totally what he's thinking!
  • Kitagawa surprises Gojo visiting him at his home, since she was too eager to get her measurements quickly to start working on the costume. Gojo asks her how she found out where he lived, and she replies that she Googled his name and Hina dolls, leaving him terrified at her determination. Then when he hesitates about letting her in, she offers him a bag with a cheesecake after asking if she can come in. While he's distracted thanking her, she proceeds to make her way in and head for his room, evidently taking his lack of refusal as permission.
  • Once in Gojo's room, Kitagawa is taking a look at his room all over, while crawling on all fours, and he has a nice view of her rear while wearing a pair of very small shorts.
  • Gojo asks Kitagawa if she can't get someone else to take her measurements. When she doesn't understand why he can't do it, he explains with a shaky voice that she needs to be in underwear for that. She proceeds to take her blouse off to reveal she's wearing a bikini underneath. Obviously to Gojo this doesn't make much difference, but Kitagawa considers her idea to wear a swimsuit a stroke of genius.
  • Taking measurements is an uphill battle for a Hormone-Addled Teenager. First, he starts by her head, and just seeing her open her eyes makes him jump backwards and hit his head on the wall. Then when she turns around so he can measure her back, he thinks he's fine because he won't be looking at her chest... only to see her butt and realize that's a problem too. He's so mortified that he ends up slapping himself in the face hard enough to leave marks (and the framing of the scene with Kitagawa's surprised face may make the viewer think at first that he slapped her).
  • Gojo realizes they need to measure Kitagawa's feet, so he decides to go get a chair for her. Kitagawa, not wanting to wait, drops herself on the futon, causing Gojo to frantically scream that she shouldn't rest there because "it's too dirty". Gojo continues to insist, and instead she just lies on it sideways in a very provocative way that only makes him even more flustered.
  • As he is still too nervous to do it, she eventually gets tired and opts to abruptly place her feet on his lap, asking him to do it with a half sultry, half straight face. Gojo eventually gulps and relents.
  • Really, the whole scene is full of hilarity, with poor Gojo trying too hard to avoid looking or touching too much, and Kitagawa even taking one or two chances to intentionally tease him for fun (like asking him where her nipples are when he needs to measure her bust point).
  • That night, when reviewing the aforementioned eroge to get better reference points for Kitagawa's outfit, Gojo is completely straight-laced, paying close attention and taking diligent notes. Even when his grandfather pops his head in Gojo holds a normal conversation with him even as sexy moans pour out from his computer. Add to it that the old man says "I guess he's at that age", and is more concerned as to why Gojo looks so damn serious while watching it, before closing the door.

Episode 3:

  • Gojo dreams of Kitagawa wearing the finished Shizuku-tan costume, and suddenly getting too much into the character, making him wake up startled when she starts to lift her skirt. He then looks inside his futon and the implication is that he had a Nocturnal Emission and he's embarrassed that his Hina doll head saw it.
    "Please look away."
  • At school, Gojo starts running away from Kitagawa who wants to talk to him. It culminates with her at the gym screaming out loud his name, while doing the "WRYYYYY!" pose.
  • Just the delivery of this line in the English Dub, during their shopping trip:
Marin: "Mama went to the bank. Boom!"
  • At the wig shop, Kitagawa wants to pick a black one, only for Gojo to explain to her that a purple one would look much better. Kitagawa's face as she goes Sure, Let's Go with That makes Gojo realize she has no clue about the details.
  • The last stop for the shopping materials is a lingerie shop. Gojo feels extremely awkward at being in there, while Kitagawa tries to calm him down saying that couples "come here all the time". As if this was an improvement, he looks around and nope, there's not a single couple in sight. (In her defense, none of the women shopping seem bothered by his presence.)
  • Right after trying out the garter, Kitagawa shows it off for Gojo to see, with matching black panties to boot, causing him to get flustered and scream that she covers up. She goes the extra mile by saying that it's a "reward" for all his help, and even suggests trying a sexier one if he wants.
  • Kitagawa decides to make a quick stop for a snack, and a woman standing on the waiting line looks at them with envy, thinking they're a couple. Then, they pass by next to her talking casually about Kitagawa's eroge, causing the woman to have a Spit Take in shock as she turns around ("What the actual hell!?"), aghast that Kitagawa is grinning while discussing that subject.
"Damn, high schoolers these days are terrifying." (subbed)
"Our future is in their sick little hands. Terrifying." (dubbed)

Episodes 4-5:

  • After returning home for shopping for supplies, one of the bags falls over and reveals the lingerie bought for the costume, causing Gojo's grandfather to faint from shock.
  • After finally trying out the Shizuku-tan cosplay for the first time, Kitagawa can't help but smile and ruin the first photos, unable to contain her excitement. She outright starts jumping about like a hyper child in stark contrast to the sexy, poised character she is cosplaying as.
  • When the last photographer in the cosplay event is about to take a few pics of Kitagawa, a gust of wind flips her skirt. The photographer frantically apologizes and says she's gonna delete the last photo. Kitagawa agrees, because she didn't look at the camera.

Episode 6:

  • Following their first cosplay outing, Kitagawa started to develop feelings for Gojo. She apparently realized this during Gojo's discussion with his Grandpa on the Shizuku outfit; she begins freaking out in her head and begs for someone to kill her... In the anime, her freaking out is interrupted by the sound of her grumbling stomach, and it's only after this that Kitagawa thinks that she wants to die.
Marin: (Inner Monologue) Oh shit! This 1000% cannot be true! Am I really falling for Gojou right now? What, No! No freaking way! How?! I like him, but do I "like" him? Do I love him?! No, shut up! There's no way I'm in love with a dude who's besties with Grandpa! That doesn't work for me... Oh, look at him just standing around being adorable; I love him! (Heavy breathing) I can't do this; it's too exhausting! I've got a life to live. I can't be obsessed with a cute, little seamstress boy~!
  • Gojo's first meeting with Sajuna. Thinking his grandfather let a stranger in the house, he throws open the bathroom door to reveal Sajuna, fresh from the shower. He then accidently presses her Berserk Button by calling her a child, so she turns to give him a piece of her mind only to slip and fall with her legs wide open. The scene then cuts to a memory of asking his grandfather why hina dolls have no hair.
  • Kitagawa comes along for a visit right when Sajuna is at Gojo's place, and what follows is a string of one funny moment after another. In order:
    • Kitagawa starts fangirling over meeting her cosplay idol, gushing over how cute she is and getting excited over her seeing her photos. She's so happy she crawls on all fours towards her, forcing Sajuna to crawl back against a wall and creeping her out for being too close.
    • Sajuna asks for Gojo's number so they can stay in touch for the costume. She also adds that he shouldn't get wrong ideas about it, and when he asks what she means, she replies that it's obvious they're dating. A flustered Gojo quickly denies it, saying he's never dated anyone before, and steps out of the room like a zombie reciting "One couple, two couples...". Meanwhile, Kitagawa is happily gushing over Gojo not having a girlfriend, while Sajuna wonders what's wrong with her.
      • Extra funny in the English Dub, as evidenced with this dialogue:
Sajuna: Don't get all weird about it; it's just so we can talk outfits.
Kitagawa: Huh? Get weird about what?
Sajuna: You know, this whole thing. I'm not trying to steal your boyfriend.
(Kitagawa looks confused, while Gojou takes a bit to digest what she said. Then suddenly...)
Gojou: WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! I'm not her boyfriend and she's not my girlfriend! I've never had a girlfriend in my entire life!
(Cut to Gojou walking awkwardly out of the room, still flustered...)
Gojou: She's just a friend friend... friend friend friend... friend friend friend friend...
Sajuna: (complete with random sweatdrops) So yeah... I guess I was wrong. Sorry, bro...
        Gojou: All good... Friendfriendfriendfriendfriend...
(Sajuna then looks at Kitagawa, who is sporting a comedic, shit-eating grin...)
Kitagawa: Aww... You don't have a girlfriend, Gojou? That's so sad...
Sajuna: (Thinking, annoyed) Is she making fun of him? I guess she's an annoying bitch, after all..
    • At the end, Kitagawa wants to ask Sajuna to do some team-up cosplay together, since they'll dress up as characters from the same series. Sajuna quickly says no, and Kitagawa's response is to laugh like mad at being rejected.

Episode 7:

  • Sajuna isn't keen on cosplaying with someone else, until Kitagawa offers to pay half the cost for the studio. She starts pondering that this way she can save money for the costume and ultimately relents.
  • The first time Gojo visits Kitagawa at her home, she comes out in a rush wearing only her pajamas, and he gets paralyzed due to seeing her with her top almost falling off. She looks at herself on the mirror, freaks out big-time by spouting random gibberish, then runs back inside because she forgot her contacts. Credit also to the translators for even bothering to translate her gibberish freak-out by also using random gibberish.
  • The visit itself is this all the way through, and not just because Kitagawa is too busy gushing over the prospect of having a "home date" with the guy she's in love with. Some highlights:
    • At first, Gojo feels he's about to vomit due to his nervousness at being at Kitagawa's home, deciding he's gonna take the DVDs he came for and leave. Kitagawa immediately offers that they watch the episodes together so he won't have to take all the DVDs, and he has no choice but to accept.
    • Gojo's reaction when sees Kitagawa's room for the first time, full of otaku merchandise and posters all over: "Yeah, this is definitely Kitagawa's room". This also serves to immediately erase his anxiety.
    • While Gojo watches the Flower Princess series with a lot of attention, Kitagawa is more focused on looking longingly at him and wondering what could happen between them... only for her stomach to growl ruining the moment for her.
      • Even funnier in the anime, where the stomach growl is actually preceded by a random bunny character from the Flower Princess show:
    • As soon as Kitagawa offers to cook for him, Gojo has a flashback of what her cooking looks like and immediately offers to cook himself. Kitagawa immediately turns him down and insists, and he has no choice but to accept.
    • When Kitagawa puts on the apron to cook, she realizes that she isn't wearing her bra, but doesn't care because she thinks Gojo didn't notice. Then, once more she gets into Smitten Teenage Girl mode while preparing an omurice for him, thinking that she could use the ketchup to decorate it with a heart or the word "LOVE". She gets distracted and it ends up a mess and she writes the word "Sorry" instead.
    • In a moment that's both heartwarming and funny, turns out the omurice actually tastes pretty good and Gojo likes it, making Kitagawa happy. Gojo for his part thinks that Kitagawa was trying to prepare a chahan instead of an omurice.
  • When Kitagawa learns that Sajuna has a younger sister, she starts gushing over the prospect of meeting her, thinking that she must be a smaller and cuter version of her. The scene then cuts to the following day, and they see Shinju for the first time; turns out she's taller and more physically developed than Sajuna despite being still in middle school.
    • Kitagawa is surprised about how "huge" Shinju is despite being in middle school, and asks "Just how big are you?", making Gojo (who'd just been staring at her chest) flinch. Then Kitagawa quickly adds she stands 164 cm, meaning she was talking about her height, not her bust size.

Episode 8:

  • While scouting out the abandoned building for a shoot, Gojo stays by Sajuna (who's clearly freaked by the location, though trying to power through it), and she talks about herself along with how seeing Gojo's cosplay costume made for Kitagawa was like love at first sight. This makes Gojo recall a similar conversation with his grandpa, and it moves him to tears... however, to Sajuna this sudden sight, combined with a lack of explanation and the convenient timing of lightning strikes, makes him look like he came out of a horror movie; she doesn't react well. And when he doesn't say anything, only coming closer to her, she vocally freaks out.
    • Then as part of his spiel, Gojo grabs Sajuna's hand as he thanks her, understanding her passion and wanting to help out. Sajuna doesn't hear a word of it, only able to stare at his hand, because this is her first physical contact with a boy (having gone to an all-girl school)... she's unable to process this event, and promptly faints with the visual representation of having been unplugged.
  • After the final exams are over, Kitagawa invites Gojo to go to the beach. Once they get there, Gojo assumes she intended to do scouting for the photos. Nope, turns out she just wanted to go there so they could hang out.
"That's right... this is how Kitagawa-san is..."

Episode 9:

  • Kitagawa flips her skirt to show Gojo a swimsuit she bought for the Black Lobelia cosplay, naturally causing him to freak out. Turns out she's upset because she sent him a selfie wearing a swimsuit to ask for his opinion, but he marked it as read and didn't reply. When inquired about this, Gojo immediately thinks "Many things happened after that" while looking at a box of tissues nearby.
    • Even funnier considering that the aforementioned swimsuit actually covered her more than the one she wore when he took her measurements.
  • As usual, Kitagawa doesn't mind one bit taking off her blouse in front of Gojo. She thinks it's fine because she's wearing a sexy bra that she can show him off... only to realize she's wearing a plain one and cover herself in embarrassment.
  • After finishing the Black Lily and Black Lobelia costumes, Gojo and Sajuna start discussing some of the final details while Kitagawa stares wide-eyed at them, wishing that she could add something smart to the conversation. When asked for her opinion, all she can add is that the costume's parts are "Insane", "Mega-Insane", and "Super-Duper Insane". Sajuna tells her she doesn't have to push herself.
  • Kitagawa is excited by finally going to the photoshoot... only for the rain to spoil her mood.
  • In the English dub, while gushing over her costume, Kitagawa makes fetch happen.
  • Gojo's initial efforts to try and compress Shinju's chest for the Souma cosplay. Despite Shinju's best efforts to hold her breath and squeeze her shoulders inwards, the shirt finally gives out and the button pops, or better said, bursts outward with the impact of a speeding bullet, barely missing the understandably shocked Gojo's face while digging itself into the wall behind him, leaving a trail of gunsmoke.
  • "So, the only problem is your che-I-I mean, how to make you look like you have a guy's physique."
  • After they find the solution for the chest issue (a B-Holder), Gojo is about to measure Shinju's head for the wig. Her chest ends up pressed against his stomach, causing both of them to freak out.
  • When Shinju shows up dressed as Souma, both Kitagawa and Sajuna start gushing and jumping in excitement. For the former, it's no surprise, but for the latter, who's always trying to act serious and professional, it's quite the sight.

Episode 10:

  • During the photoshoot, they're trying to enact a scene where Black Lobelia holds Black Lily's chin as they stare at each other. Kitagawa is unable to stay in character and breaks into a fit of laugh, because she can't resist Juju's cuteness.
  • It's a miracle that Shinju's B-holder managed to contain her breasts for that long, until it finally snapped. Even funnier in the anime because you can see the shirt starting to bulge (while Shinju is smiling, to top it off) after the snap is heard before it finally bursts out.
  • Once they've finished the Flower Princess cosplay photoshoot, Kitagawa calls Gojo to talk about it. Gojo off-handedly mentions how he took Shinju to his room to help her prepare the cosplay after their first visit to the studio. Kitagawa asks if the two were alone, which Gojo confirms, making her realize the implications. She's left in a Stunned Silence for a bit and immediately gives a "jelly pout".
  • Kitagawa decides to take Gojo to Shibuya to buy him some new clothes. He starts trying out some different shirts, which the shop's employee thinks look horrible on him. Kitagawa for her part only stares in shock, unable to choose... because she thinks he looks great no matter what he wears.
    • This is probably even funnier for western fans, as one of the outfit choices is an open flame-print shirt that makes Gojo look like Guy Fieri
  • When Gojo tells Kitagawa that she should do the Veronica cosplay by herself, explaining that it shows too much of her chest for his comfort, she understands and accepts it... and then immediately offers to send him photos wearing it just to fluster him.

Episode 11:

  • The Sabakoma manga pages are pretty hilarious to look at. One has Rizu-kyun trying to get Kaname to sleep with a lullaby, only to end up falling asleep herself, and another has her ranting nonstop until he gives her some chocolates so she shuts up.
    • Not to mention that the title is quite long, something which a disbelieving Gojo immediately lampshades. And the shortened version of the whole thing is "SuccIDK", something which clearly alludes to a more explicit act, and was more than likely intentional.
    • Marin mentions that she wants to cosplay one of the main characters, but doesn't feel like she can do it, as "only cute girls can pull off the half-pigtail style". When she turns her head, Gojo is giving her the most deadpan look of "What the hell are you talking about", while she's a bit weirded out by him suddenly staring at her.
  • The love hotel scene, full stop. Some highlights:
    • The whole thing started because Kitagawa forgot to check what exactly she was booking, only realising where by the time they arrive at the front door. The room itself is rather non-descript and is fittingly black and white like the source manga, only for Kitagawa to see a massaging wand.
    • Kitagawa enters the bathroom to get changed. Meanwhile Gojo tries to kill time watching the TV, which considering where they are goes as well as you'd expect. He quickly switches off the TV, but after thinking it over for a while, he switches it back and mutes it, watching it for several seconds. He ends up freaking out when Kitagawa comes out, frantically trying to turn the thing off and almost throwing away the remote.
    • Gojo feels some doubts about having taken liberties with the Rizu-kyun cosplay (due to the lack of details in the manga), which Kitagawa assures him that she loves how he made it. He's about to thank her, only for her to kill the mood telling him to try an urban legend about "making money easier by putting a condom in your wallet". Gojo ends up having a Spit Take due to the shock.
    • After Kitagawa finishes fitting the wig, Gojo stares at her, then says "Beautiful", which naturally causes her to blush in shock. Then he clarifies he was talking about the wig's color, much to her disappointment.
    • One of the scenes they want to reproduce involves Rizu-kyun eating some chocolates. Kitagawa ends up getting sidetracked by eating the whole box to the point Gojo has to remind her they already finished that scene.
    • For the final photo, Gojo asks Kitagawa to sit on top of him to get the best angle, so she does. Only after they've done it do they realize the position they're in, and gets reminded that they're in a love hotel thanks to the moans coming from next door. Gojo's hormones kick in and when he starts getting a Raging Stiffie, he intensely grabs Kitagawa by her naked waist to get her off him, accidentally turning her on and making her moan as they end up in an even more compromising position. They're only stopped from going further because they get a call from reception to let them know that their time is over.
      • For good measure, the anime ramps the scene's sexual tension up to eleven: the lights are accidentally turned off, they sit there virtually frozen in that position for thirty seconds straight, with mutual wide-eyed held gazes and heavy breathing the entire time, both of them painfully slowly adjusting to be more comfortable in the position they're in, and ending with an Almost Kiss moment before the phone rings.
  • The episode ends with Gojo resting on his bed, banging his head while repeating "Kitagawa-san! Kitagawa-san! Kitagawa-san!" while his other hand is pretty obviously doing its own business.

Episode 12:

  • The episode opens up with Gojo getting a text from Kitagawa: "Help". Turns out she's been grounded by her dad for not doing her summer schoolwork and needs Gojo to help her finish it.
  • After they finish the English schoolwork, Kitagawa is relieved that she doesn't have to do Math. Gojo however tells her that they do have to, making her freak out at the realization that she left her Math books at school.
  • Before they leave the school, Kitagawa decides to make a quick stop at the pool to chill off a little bit. When she's gonna put her feet into the water, she slips and falls into the water. A few seconds pass and she doesn't come out, forcing Gojo to dive in to rescue her. Turns out she can't swim.
  • The fireworks festival. Kitagawa doesn't miss the chance to visit every food stall she spots. A shocked Gojo has to carry all the snacks she bought.
  • While watching the fireworks show together, Gojo and Kitagawa share a longing gaze at each other under the glow of the fireworks as a beautiful song plays over the scene... at which point Kitagawa sticks out her tongue, stained blue by some shave ice she was eating, freaking Gojo out and causing the BGM to halt for a moment.
  • Kitagawa and Gojo watching a horror movie together. Gojo seems mildly worried since he doesn't watch horror, but Kitagawa cheerily assures him that it can't be that scary. They sit through it all the way, Gojo completely straight-faced while Kitagawa is visibly sweating and growing more and more terrified. After it ends, Gojo is excited at the prospect of learning how they made the clothes look worn out and already wants to see Part II, much to Kitagawa's shock.
    • Then, the following night, Gojo gets a phone call from her, and turns out she's now too scared to sleep after watching the sequel to that movie on her own. We get a shot of her cuddling under her blanket and shaking, and a flashback to her screaming after a drop of water hits her in the bathtub.
    • The anime's take on the movie is apparently a mash up of One Missed Call, The Ring and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. This is probably the only place you'll see the otherwise morose Sadako doing Leatherface's chainsaw dance.

Unsorted

  • Due to Gojou's propensity for traditional clothing as casual wear, when he accompanies Marin to cosplay meetups people will occasionally mistake him as being a monk cosplayer.
  • When taking care of a sick Kitagawa, Gojo goes looking for a clean shirt. The first one he finds has Shizuku-tan (the fictional girl Kitagawa loves) giving an ahegao face. Gojo is not amused.
  • Kitagawa drags Gojo along to celebrate a birthday. Shizuku-tan's birthday. Complete with balloons, cake, and party poppers with a Shizuku-tan body pillow on the couch. And to top it all off, Kitagawa and Gojo are wearing Shizuku-tan robes and masks with Kitagawa professing her love for her while Gojo just silently sweats bullets. The whole scene comes off as a cult ceremony.
  • Kitagawa's total disappointment upon learning that a proper made bunny suit would not fall off like in the anime Kochicom.
    Kitagawa: For real...
Gojo and Usami-san: Why is she so disappointed?
  • A heartwarming moment occurs when Gojo and Marin join their classmates for karaoke, with the questioning of Gojo's skill in makeup being shot down by the others as 'just something guys can do' and finding it awesome; this is immediately undercut by Nowa - who has been singing in the background during the talk - promptly bellowing "GOJO-KUN AND MARIN, ARE YOU GOING OUT?!", prompting a bunny suit-clad Gojo to splurt his drink out.
  • Kensei unintentionally destroys Kitagawa's chance to take private picture with Gojo by causing the male classmates to misunderstand that Kitagawa wants their picture instead.
Kitagawa: Um... so, I have a request... I'll pay for it... Can we... take a booth shot together...
Kensei: Hell yeah. Yoooooo, Kitagawa wants some photos in the booth.
Kitagawa: You got it all wrongggggggggggg! Go away!!!
  • Chapter 74 features Gojo needing to stay overnight at Kitagawa's apartment and being absolutely terrified of the implications given that it'd mean being alone with her all night. Having found an Energy Drink like the kind featured in Sabakoma, he decides to get one to keep him awake until a train home is running again. However, between the drink names being things like "Sex Extreme," "Super Viper" and "Premium Night Horse Power," and Gojo's declaration that he "[doesn't] plan on sleeping tonight," Kitagawa gets a very different idea.
  • In Chapter 75, Gojou comes back from a shower, having been loaned a hoodie by Kitagawa so he'd have something to wear that night. Only for him to be completely deadpan wearing a Shizuku-tan hoodie with a... rather interesting expression plastered on the front. Kitagawa waves it off by saying it's the only men's sized clothes she really has, as merchandise for an eroge is usually sized for men rather than women.
    • After being wracked with nerves all night, Kitagawa ends up falling asleep and getting put to bed. She wakes up groggily in the morning, then quite abruptly realizes that absolutely nothing happened the night before.
  • In Chapter 78, while Gojo and Akira are making some accessories for the coffin party. Miori shows up bringing some snacks for them, and almost steps on a fake eye they left on the floor. She naturally screams in terror while Gojo frantically tries to calm her down.
  • In Chapter 79, when the older cosplayers suddenly remember Shinju is only a middle schooler, and ask her if she can afford to cosplay at the Coffin meetup, Shinju proudly boasts that because she improved her grades at school, she has lots of pocket money.
