We're riding the bus to Flavortown!

Guy Fieri note  is a restauranteur, author, and host on Food Network. He's known for his larger-than-life personality and spiked-hairdo-with-sunglasses style.

His family name was anglicized to 'Ferry' when his grandfather arrived in the US; Guy chose to change it back when he got married.

He gained national prominence when he won the second season of The Next Food Network Star. Within a few years, he had become the face of the network, with his original show Guy's Big Bite followed by Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, Guy Off the Hook, Minute to Win It (on NBC), Guy's Grocery Games, Tournament of Champions, and more.

Holey Moley Trope-boli!

  • Catchphrase: He has several, including references to Flavortown, "This is money!", and more.
  • Cool Car: He collects classic automobiles, which appear often in his shows, especially Diners, Drive-ins and Dives and any road-trip themed specials.
  • Large Ham: His persona is over-the-top, especially in Tournament of Champions, which he emcees like a wrestling announcer.
  • The Nicknamer: He loves giving chefs on his shows (both contestants and judges) Affectionate Nicknames.
  • Running Gag: Various ways that he conceals the word "Go" that starts a round of competition.
"We don't do the 'three-two-one-Go' thing here." (Chefs, realizing he just said 'Go', scramble to get their ingredients.)
  • Spiky Hair: He's known for his frosted tips, which is part of his signature look.
