Fanfic / One Girl with Ten Brothers

Go To

One Girl with Ten Brothers is a Loud House Rule 63 fanfic written by DiamondDollDark. It's made up of one-shots focusing on the life of Linka Loud and her ten brothers.

It can be read on both Fanfiction.net and Archive Of Our Own.

Tropes in this fanfic include:

  • Abuse Mistake:
    • In Chapter 3, Linka's older brothers comment on how some of their classmates think they bully her for being the only girl in the family, when in reality it's just harmless teasing.
    • A more serious version happens in Chapter 23 when the school's new guidance counselor, who has never met the Louds before, mistakes some out of context interactions with them (Linka having a black eye and seemingly trying to avoid the question on where she got it, Leif being dirty and Levi having access to dangerous chemicals) for their parents neglecting them.
  • Accidental Public Confession: Linka is the first Loud to find out about Luke's sexuality because she walked into the kitchen at the same time he was having a phone conversation with his boyfriend about him coming out to the Louds.
Luke: When is the right time to say "I'm bisexual and Sam is my boyfriend"?
Linka: [Drops the water-glass she was carrying, alerting Luke to her presence]
  • Actually Pretty Funny: At the end of "Don't Get Crushed", Robbie Dan sends Linka a prank package rigged to shoot a pie in her face. Linka ends up laughing along with him because she really needed a laugh after the Boy Jordan fiasco she went through that week.
  • Adapted Out: Even though Bobby was in the episode "Party Down", his female counterpart Bebe wasn't in this version since the Santiagos have already moved away.
  • Adaptational Nice Guy: The Loud brothers are a lot nicer than their portrayal in "One of the Boys", at least in the dimension with all sons. Though they're more like the ones from the dimension with Linka, and they have more respect for their dad.
  • Affectionate Gesture to the Head: When Linka accepts Luke's bisexuality and his romantic relationship with Sam, Luke responds by scooping her up into a big hug and giving her a brotherly kiss on her forehead as thanks.
  • Affectionate Nickname: The Louds, as well as Bebe and Robbie Dan, often refers to Linka as "Snow White", because of her white hair and her status as the only girl among her siblings.
  • Age-Inappropriate Art: In "Crazy Little Thing", Lexx auditions for the Royal Woods Community Theater's Talent Night by tap-dancing and singing "Turn It Off" from All About Mormons!. They turn him down.
Lexx: (pissed off) They said it was "vulgar". They wanna know vulgar, they should try listening to the song the Ugandans sing! They wouldn't know humor if it slapped them across the face!
    Lane: You'll get over it.
Loki: That musical is not for kids, anyway.
  • All Just a Dream: While in quarantine during COVID-19, Linka has a dream where she, her family, and her friends are living out various Disney stories as those Disney characters pertaining to the story.
  • Alpha Bitch: Heather in Chapter 3 and Chandler in Chapter 22.
  • Are You Pondering What I'm Pondering?: In Chapter 3, when Linka hears the principal announce the beauty pageant.
Linka: Claudia, are you thinking what I'm thinking?
Claudia: We forget about this girly stuff and play video games at my house?
  • Baby See, Baby Do: Linka and Lars learned several swear words from their older brothers when they were young.
  • Bait-and-Switch: When Luke comes out as a bisexual with a boyfriend to his brothers, Loki responds by punching him in the stomach. Not as a homophobic response, but because he was mad that Luke didn't trust him enough to tell him about his relationship with Sam before.
  • Beware the Silly Ones: Lane, just like his female counterpart when it comes to April Fool's.
  • Beauty Contest: Linka joins a local elementary-school pageant in "Who is the Fairest One of All" because a mean girl bullied her for "not being a girl" due to being a Tomboy with ten brothers.
  • Becoming the Boast: When Linka and Claudia decide to have a kickboxing match to decide which one of them is the toughest, neither of them knows how to kickbox and at the same time they assume that the other girl can. This means that both of them have to learn how to kickbox in one week before they have their match. Linka learns by asking Lynn Jr. to train her, while Claudia learns from watching demonstration videos and self-training, so by the day of the match both of them know enough to have a good, even match.
  • Big Brother Instinct: Every single one of Linka's brothers, even the younger ones, care deeply about her.
    • In "Us, Overprotective? Nah" every single brother comes to Linka's defense when they find out somebody's been bullying her, and they get even more furious when they find out her bully is a boy.
    • When Loki's party in "Party Down" gets out of control with underaged drinking and weed-smoking, Loki was unwilling to stop it because of his popularity, even at the risk of losing his parents' trust. That changed after Linka nearly had an asthma attack from the marijuana smoke.
  • Black and Nerdy: Much like her male counterpart, Claudia is African-American, an excellent student at school, and loves video games and comics.
  • Boxing Episode: In "Loud Vs. McBride", Claudia feels weak after Linka stepped in to fight some bullies who were harassing her before she could stand up for herself, so she challenges Linka to a fight. They decide to hold a kickboxing match on the following Saturday despite neither of them knowing how to kickbox. Linka gets Lynn Jr. to coach her, while Claudia self-trains. By the time the day of the match rolls around, both of them know enough to give each other a good match, and their friends, Linka's brothers, and the friends they've invited have shown up to watch the fight. Claudia ultimately wins by knocking out Linka with a Semi-Circular Kick, but not before they make up.
  • Breaking the Fourth Wall: Like in the show, the characters (mostly Linka) speaks to the reader. In "Don't Get Crushed", Luke said "it's about time we appeared in the bloody chapter!", after the brothers have been absent on the first half.
  • Brick Joke: When Linka finds out about Luke's same-sex romantic relationship with Sam, she asks Luke if Sam can adopt the Loud last name when they get married. Loni asks the same thing after Luke comes out to the rest of the family.
  • Camp Straight: Loni and Lexx are just as feminine as their female counterparts (Leni and Lola) in the show, the former being a fashion designer who loves clothes and the latter being an aspiring Broadway stage actor who hates getting dirty and fusses about his physical appearance all the time, but both of them are romantically and sexually attracted to the opposite gender. The former's status as this is lampshaded when after Luke comes out as a bisexual who's dating a boy to the family and they give him a Group Hug to show that they accept him for it, several of them admit that they had assumed that Loni was gonna be the gay one.
  • Cat Fight: In "Loud vs. McBride", several of the Loud brothers' friends showed up to Linka and Claudia's kickboxing match when they were told about it just because they wanted to see two girls fighting each other. The brothers took advantage of this by charging their friends with money to attend.
Loki: When Lynn told us you were fighting Claudia, we literally had to call up our friends to watch with us. People love a good cat fight.
  • Catapult Nightmare: When Luke wakes up from his nightmare about the rest of his family rejecting him for being bisexual and Linka, who's the only one of the family who knows about his sexuality and romantic relationship with Sam, powerless to help him in any way, he falls out his upper bunk bed and crashes on the floor. This, combined with them hearing his screaming while he was having the nightmare, prompts the other Loud siblings to check on him and make sure he's okay.
  • Comically Missing the Point: During a Loud sibling meeting to discuss ways to help Leif get out of his depression over the death of his pet frog Hops, Loni wishes that there was some sort of pill that Leif could swallow to make him feel happy again.
Luke: Uh dude, you just described a drug.
Levi: Specifically MDMA, Methylenedioxymethamphetamine. Street name, ecstasy.
Loni: Oh. Why don't we find some of that and give it to Leif?
    [...]
Lexx: Linka, this is going to work. Trust me.
Loni: And if it doesn't, we still have the ecstasy suggestion.
Luke: My sweet Lord. Loni, stop talking.
  • Coming-Out Story: Chapter 19 is about Luke working up the courage to tell his family he is bisexual and has had a boyfriend named Sam for the past six weeks. While they do have a brief moment of shock over it, they all ultimately accept it and reaffirm their love for their brother/son with a big Group Hug.
  • Continuity Nod: In "Don't Get Crushed", Linka uses the kickboxing skills she learned in "Loud vs. McBride" in an attempt to make Boy Jordan like her less.
  • The Dandy: Loni and Lexx are just as obsessed with their appearances as their female counterparts (Leni and Lola) are, because the former wants to be a fashion designer and the latter wants to be a Broadway stage actor. This makes them the most feminine Loud siblings.
  • Distracted by the Sexy: Of course, like in the original "Study Muffin", Linka's brothers have a crush on Hazel (female counterpart of Hugh). Likewise, Linka and her female classmates have a crush on Mr. DiMartino.
  • Don't Split Us Up: In Chapter 23, the Loud siblings were nearly taken away by Child Services to live in separate homes (with the older boys in one, the younger half in another, and Linka in a home that will only take girls), due to the difficulty of raising a large family as well as some tensions between siblings.
  • Doting Grandparent: The original Gram-Gram, Lynn Sr.'s mother who died a couple of months before the twins were born, was this for all of the grandchildren who knew her when she was alive, especially Loni. She was the one who taught him how to design and sew clothing when Gram-Gram decided it wasn't fair that all Baby Linka had to wear was her brother's hand-me-downs and wanted to make her some feminine clothing. Seeing how much Baby Linka loved the sundress they made together inspired Loni to become a fashion designer. Loni was also devastated when Gram-Gram died.
  • Double Standard: Abuse, Female on Male: In the original "Heavy Meddle", when the Loud sisters find out Lincoln's bully is a girl, they immediately squeal with delight because they think it means that the bully secretly likes him. In "Us, Overprotective? Nah", the gender-flipped version of "Heavy Meddle", when the Loud brothers find out Linka's bully is a boy, it makes them even more furious than they already were when they found out that somebody's been bullying their sister.
  • Everyone Has Standards:
    • In Chapter 3, even Lexx doesn't approve of the beauty pageant. However, he adds that if there's a similar contest for boys, he would definitely win.
    • In Chapter 21, paranormal expert Lars is wary of finding La Llorona after overhearing Robbie Dan tell the legends to Linka.
  • Evil Laugh: Lane, while pranking his family in Chapter 13.
  • Feminine Mother, Tomboyish Daughter: Rita and Linka have this dynamic since the former was an only child and the latter has ten brothers who she hangs out with often. This is one of the factors that causes a serious rift between them in "A Mother and Daugher Chapter" before the rest of the family and Claudia help them reconcile.
  • Foreshadowing: Luke's sexuality was hinted at in chapters 2 and 4.
  • Friend-or-Idol Decision: In this version of "Party Down", the party has gotten out of control (with underage drinking and weed smoking), but Loki was unwilling to kick everyone out because of his popularity, even at the risk of losing his parents' trust. But when he spot Linka in her Russian disguise having difficulty breathing from the smoke, that was the last straw.
  • Gayngst: Luke is worried about revealing he's bisexual and has a boyfriend (Sam) since his brothers can be rowdy and often judgmental, and because he's heard plenty of stories about LBGT teens being rejected by their families for being who they are. Linka is the first to find out when she accidentally overhears a phone call between Luke and Sam, and quickly accepts him. However, Luke gets more insecure about it when he has a nightmare where his brothers beat him up while shouting homophobic slurs, his mom cries over his son in love with a boy, and his dad angrily throws him out of the house, while Linka is helpless to stop it all. When he goes to the McBrides for advice, they share with him their own stories of their coming out, and they help him practice coming out to his family via role-play. In the end, he comes out to his parents first, and they reassure him they love him anyway. And he soon tells his brothers about it, and they accept him as well, leading to a big Group Hug and them admitting that they had assumed that Loni would have been the gay one.
  • Get Out!:
    • After Lief blames Lexx for Hops' death, he banishes him from the twins' bedroom. Linka allows Lexx to share her room until Lief forgives him and lets him be his roommate again.
    • Luke has a nightmare about his parents throwing him out of the house after coming out to his family in "Crazy Little Thing".
  • Girly Girl with a Tomboy Streak: Claudia, compared to the more tomboyish Linka.
  • Give the Baby a Father: In "Crazy Little Thing", Harriet reveals that her parents were uncomfortable with her falling in love with and marrying Holly because they thought that Claudia, who Harriet already had by then, wouldn't be able to handle not having a father. Fortunately, they came around to tolerate it when Holly proved to be a good influence in Claudia's life.
  • The Glomp: Luke scoops up Linka in one, complete with a familial kiss on the forehead, when she accepts both his bisexuality and him dating a boy.
  • Go to Your Room!: In Lane's memory of Linka as shown in "A Walk Down Linka Lane", the five-year-old Linka got a time-out in her room for shouting a bunch of curse words at her grandmother and brothers.
  • Group Hug: In Chapter 17, when Luke comes out as a bisexual who has been dating a boy named Sam for the past six weeks to his brothers (who are the last in their family to know), they show that they accept Luke's sexuality by pulling him into a major group hug. Their parents, Linka, and Sam also join in.
  • Hidden Depths:
    • Chapter 3 demonstrates that Linka is aware enough of world events and injustices that happen as a result of prejudice to give good examples of how the United States doesn't live up to its promises of equality for everybody that lives inside it.
Claudia: Linka, what happened to "sweet and innocent"?
Linka: Don't be blame me, blame the question. Being girly should not mean being ignorant! I watch the news too, Claud!
    • In "No Spoilers (Genderbent)" Loni remembered every single detail of Linka's Disney-themed dream in "The Wonderful World Of The Loud House" to recreate it the best he could for Linka's surprise birthday party.
  • Hypocritical Humor: In this version of "Party Down", Luke is enjoying performing at a party full of drunken teens. But when one of them breaks his guitar, thinking a stain on the wall was a spider, Luke wants them out.
  • Hypocrisy Nod: When the brothers find out about Linka signing up for a beauty pageant, even Lexx shows disapproval for it... then admits that if they had one for boys, he would totally sign up.
  • I Have Brothers: Much of Linka's tomboyishness stems from having ten brothers.
  • I Will Show You X!: In this version of "Chore and Peace", Lexx didn't make an audition for Seussical the Musical because he made the director faint with his B.O.:
Linka: Sounds like karma for tricking me and going on strike for no reason.
Lexx: (chases his sister around the house) I'll show you karma!
  • In Spite of a Nail: While the Santiagos also have their genders reversed, they still move from Royal Woods to Great Lakes City so they can live with their extended family.
  • Inspirational Insult: In Loni's flashback in "A Walk Down Linka Lane", Loki notes that Loni's "finally useful for something" when baby Linka loves the sundress Loni and the original Gram-Gram made for her. While Loni doesn’t realize that was an insult, it helps him realize that he was useful in helping Gram-Gram make the dress. Between that and the joy of seeing how much Linka loves her new piece of clothing is what inspires him to become a fashion designer.
  • Innocently Insensitive: In this version of "Party Down", Loki forces his friends to clean up the basement while dressed in his military outfit and using his baton which doubles as a whip. A disgruntled African-American kid tells Loki the whipping was unnecessary.
  • Jerkass: Boy Jordan towards Linka's brothers (and later Lynn Sr.) in "Don't Get Crushed".
  • Keep Away: In this version of "Party Down", two jocks toss Lane's dummy Mrs. Coconuts around when he tried to breakup their fight.
  • Knight Templar Big Brother: Linka's overly-protective brothers go into this when she goes on a date with Robbie Dan (Ronnie Anne's male counterpart), who used to bully Linka.
  • Let Me Get This Straight...: Lynn Jr. says this word-for-word when Linka asks him to teach her kickboxing for her upcoming match with Claudia.
Lynn Jr.: So, let me get this straight. You made a kickboxing bet with Claudia, even though you don't know how to, to see which one of you is the toughest?
    Linka: Basically.
  • Let Us Never Speak of This Again: The Loud siblings have all agreed never to discuss how the Loud Brothers reacted to Linka getting her first period.
  • Lost Pet Grievance: In "The Frog Fiasco", Leif puts Lexx in charge of taking care of his frog Hops while he's at a doctor's appointment. Unfortunately, Hops escaped through an open window then gets hit by a truck, resulting in his death. When Leif finds out what happened, he breaks down in a fit of anger and tears, blames his twin for Hops’ death, and throws him out of their room. Leif is so heartbroken that he remains utterly depressed for a week and refuses to do anything he likes.
  • The Mentor: In "Crazy Little Thing", Luke decides to ask the McBride mothers for advice on coming out to his family. They share with him their own stories of their coming outs and help him practice his own coming out via role-play.
  • Mistaken for Gay: After Luke comes out of the closet to his family who accepts him for it, the rest of the Louds admit they always assumed the fashionable Loni would be the gay one.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Loni asked offended.
    • The bullies in "The New Loni" assume he is, since they called him "Barbie" and "fruity".
  • My Sister Is Off-Limits: Linka's brothers don't like it whenever she's hanging out with a boy, especially if the boy in question is her former bully Robbie Dan.
  • Mythology Gag: In "Who is the Fairest One of All", one of Linka's flashbacks has the siblings dog-pile on Lynn Sr. when he comes home from work, making him say "uncle". Just like in the episode "One of the Boys", where the brothers do that to their dad all the time.
    • In Lars' flashback in “A Walk Down Linka Lane”, Linka’s winning ticket number is 050216. Which is the date of when the series officially premiered on Nickelodeon: May 2, 2016 (050216).
  • Nice Guy: Loni is acknowledged in "The New Loni" as the sweetest Loud sibling. Everyone was shocked (and also afraid of him) after he beat up Stan.
  • Nightmare Sequence: During "Crazy Little Thing", Luke has a nightmare where his brothers beat him up while shouting homophobic slurs and his parents disown him and throw him out of the house for being bisexual with a boyfriend, all while Linka, who's the only one who knows about it so far, is powerless to help him or stop the other Louds. It increases the insecurity he has about his sexuality.
Luke: (to his concerned siblings who heard his screaming and falling out of his upper bunk bed) I just had a nightmare.
Levi: The one where you don't make it as a rock and roll musician as you aspire and end up homeless, spirilng into an endless cycle of deperession and failure?
Luke: (face palms) Why'd you remind me of that, dude?
  • Noodle Incident: When the siblings are discussing their favorite memories of Linka, Loni suggests this:
Loni: How about how we all reacted to Linka's first period?
The other siblings: We don't talk about that!
  • Not Me This Time: In Chapter 22, when the parents somehow learned their sons' secret confessions (with the boys suspecting Linka as the snitch), Loni automatically assumed it was Lexx, since he used to tattle on them.
Lexx: For once, no. It's Linka!
  • Oblivious Guilt Slinging: Luke tried to tell his brothers he's bisexual, but they were forced to watch Lexx practice his audition for Royal Woods Community Theater's Talent Night by singing "Turn it Off" from All About Mormons!. The song's apparent homophobic message only increased his insecurity about his sexuality.
  • One of the Boys: While Linka does have a few female friends, the fact that she has ten brothers who she often hangs out with means that she's pretty tomboyish.
  • Open-Minded Parents: Lynn Sr. and Rita accept their son Luke is bisexual and with a boyfriend. In fact, the only thing they're shocked about is that Loni wasn't the gay one.
Rita: It's not the most shocking news we've received. With eleven unique personalities under one roof, one of them being gay seems pretty tame.
  • Pocket Dial: The reason why the parents learned their sons' secret confessions in Chapter 22 is that Loki accidentally butt-dialed their mom during their sibling meeting. Unfortunately, the brothers already got their revenge on Linka, who they had assumed was the snitch, so they have to rush and save her from the consequences of their actions.
  • Real After All: La Llorona shows up for real at the end of Chapter 21.
  • Real Men Wear Pink: Loni is an aspiring fashion designer, and Lexx's usual prince outfit consists of a pink capenote  and he's an aspiring stage actor who knows several musicals like the back of his hand and wants to perform on Broadway someday.
  • Restrained Revenge: At the end of "Sound of Silence (Genderbent)" Lexx gets revenge on Linka for pranking him by making her help him practice his lines for The Little Mermaid.
  • Rule 63:
    • The Loud siblings have their genders reversed, and are given the same names they had in "One of the Boys".
    • Averted with Lynn Sr. and Rita, who remain in their original genders, which was the case in "One of the Boys". Presumably, their clothing's colors are swapped as well.
    • Claudia is Clyde's female counterpart, and the McBride dads are also gender-flipped into Holly and Harriet.
    • The Santiago children become Bebe and Robbie Dan, and are being raised by their father instead of their mother.
    • Zach, Liam, and Rusty become Zara, Leah, and Riley.
    • Sam, Luna's girlfriend in the series, also becomes male so he can be Luke's boyfriend.
    • Lori's rival Carol becomes Loki's rival Carl.
    • Luna's roadie Chunk becomes Luke's roadie Cheryl.
    • Hugh becomes Hazel. Just like in the series, Lynn Sr. wants to be friends with her because she's British.
    • Principal Wilbur Huggins becomes Wilma Huggins.
    • The author states that Boy Jordan and Girl Jordan have been Gender Flipped, so they switched names.
    • All four of Leni's friends from the episode "Everybody Loves Leni" have been genderbent to become Loni's friends in the chapter "Working Loud". Jackie, Mandy, Miguel, and Fionna become Jackson, Matthew, Michelle, and Finn respectively.
    • In the episode "Chore and Peace", a "really nice cheerleader" consoles Bobby after Clyde "broke the news" to him. Here, a broken down Bebe is consulted by a "sweet football player".
  • Scary Black Woman: Michelle Brock of Child Protective Services in chapter 23 is intimidating upon her arrival at the Loud House. Her sunglasses highlight those features.
  • Screw the Rules, I Have Connections!: Stan Hightower's dad is the administrator at the high school, making the students afraid to stand up to him in fear of his father.
  • Shout-Out:
    • Word of God says the boot camp sergeant in Chapter 13 is based on Chef Hatchet from Total Drama.
    • The boys who beat up Loni are named Stan, Kyle, Eric, and Kenny.
    • Linka becomes the victim of a sock bath in Chapter 22, at least until her brothers showed up to save her.
    • Chapter 26 is based on The Proud Family episode "I Love You, Penny Proud". Also, the genderbend version of "Party Down" has Loki briefly closing the door at his friends, like Penny did in "The Party".
    • Luke also makes references to various rock songs like his female counterpart does in the show throughout the story. Although, he does refers to non-rock songs. For example, he refers to two songs from the Broadway phenomenon Hamilton: An American Musical. The song he writes in "Twice as Hard" is hinted to be Helpless and he sings the opening verse from It's Quiet Uptown in "The Frog Fiasco".
    • In "Overnight Success (Genderbent)", Lane blew a kiss and said "Goodnight everybody" to the readers after Claudia said something to Levi that could easily be taken the wrong way. This is a callback to how Yakko Warner from Animaniacs would do the same action when someone said something mildly inappropriate. What made this work is that they're both voiced by the same actor, Rob Paulsen.
      • He says it again in "No Spoilers (Genderbent)".
    • "Singerloid" is mentioned twice in the story, in Lars's flashback in "A Walk Down Linka Lane Part II" and "Twins of Evil". It's a parody name of the voice synthesizer and its characters, Vocaloid.
    • The 3 women in "Working Loud" looking for a dress are named Nikki, Chloe, and Zoey (from the book series Dork Diaries). Their dialogue is very similar to the Elles' dialogue in the song "Ohmigod You Guys" from Legally Blonde: the Musical.
    • Disney gets referenced a lot, due to the author's self-admitted love for the entertainment it produces. In Lief's flashback in "A Walk Down Linka Lane", he and Linka go to a school costume party dressed as Gaston and Le Fou, Lexx gets the role of Flounder when the Royal Wood Community Theater decides to do a production of The Little Mermaid during "Sound of Silence (Genderbent)", Linka has a dream where her family and friends are Disney characters during the COVID-19 quarantine, and Loni throws Linka a Disney-themed birthday party in "No Spoilers (Genderbent)".
  • Sir Swears-a-Lot: The Loud siblings have a tendency to swear a lot. In Linka's case, she knew all of the curse words by the time she was five years old.
  • Soap Punishment: Discussed during Lane's flashback in Chapter 11 when the older brothers fear that they might be forced to go through this because of the five-year-old Linka picking up a bunch of curse words from them, so they spend the rest of the day teaching Linka alternatives to real curse words. However, despite their success at this they all still get soap in their mouths because the two-year-old Lars called Linka a bitch during dinner.
  • Swapped Roles: Between Linka and Lexx in "Sound of Silence (Genderbent)".
  • Swear Word Plot: In Lane's memory in "A Walk Down Linka Lane", Linka, who was five years old at the time, starts swearing a bunch of curse words she picked up from her older brothers when Lynn Jr. tried to change the channel, resulting her getting a time-out in her room as punishment. This, combined with realizing that they've been a bad influence on her and fear of also being punished for her learning curse words from them, prompts her older brothers to spend the rest of the day teaching her safer and more appropriate alternatives to curse words to prevent her from getting into any more trouble for saying real curse words. Unfortunately for them, they also forgot that the two-year-old Lars also picked up several swear words from them, which resulted in them all getting the Soap Punishment when Lars called Linka the b-word in front of their parents and their grandma during dinner.
  • Tears of Joy: Luke sheds these after Lynn Sr. and Rita accept his bisexuality and romantic relationship with Sam.
  • Tomboy and Girly Girl: While Linka and Claudia both have tomboyish and feminine traits, Linka is much more tomboyish while Claudia is much more feminine.
  • Tomboy with a Girly Streak: Linka, due to growing up with so many brothers. A mean girl ridicules her for not being very girly, which makes Linka realize that even her own room is more girly than her. This prompts her to join a beauty pageant, though she ultimately decides she'd rather be a tomboy with her brothers' support and love than worry about what a snob says about her.
  • Too Dumb to Live: Discussed in-universe in Chapter 21, where Bebe and Robbie Dan comment on how the "dumb white character" always gets killed in scary movies. The Loud siblings are a little put off by that remark.
"Wow Bebe, it's like that?" Loki asks, disapprovingly.
  • Totem Pole Trench: Leif and Lexx put this disguise in "Don't Get Crushed".
  • What the Hell, Hero?:
    • In Chapter 6, Bebe was angry at Loki for his involvement with his brothers attacking Robbie Dan during their date.
    • In Chapter 22, Linka calls out her brothers for revealing what she wrote in her diary to her classmates for thinking she ratted them out to their parents when she didn't. And because of them, she has to face her female classmates (including Claudia) who want revenge for writing nasty things about them.
