Tropes used by this author include:

  • Abhorrent Admirer: NeoMark occasionally uses a character like this, usually one after his protagonists. While Danny opens up to Nice Girls like Starfire and Sibella after they apologize, girls like Blackfire and Camille Leon remain unpleasant.
  • Amazon Chaser: In many of his DP fics, Danny tends to fall hard for girls who are skilled fighters
    • Most prominent with Kim Possible, as Danny fawns over her for her combat capability and not just being physically attractive.
    • Starfire is another example, as even when she starts out being too affectionate for him in one story, he warms up after seeing her fight.
  • Canon Character All Along: Another trope he seems rather fond of, introducing a new character to the story, only to reveal they're a pre-existing one under a different name. For example, Thanatos, the Final Boss of After Many Dates: Danny and Kim, turns out to have been Dark Danny.
  • Chivalrous Pervert: How he tends to write Danny. Danny will comment on a girl's figure, stare too long at certain regions of her body and drool over them when in revealing or otherwise attractive outfits. His interactions with Kim Possible, Hsien-ko and Mina Ashido being clear examples of this. However, at the end of the day, he's a hero and never commits sexual harassment or the like, valuing them for more than good looks and earning their admiration through respect.
  • Crossover Couple: He seems fond of this trope. He has paired Danny Fenton with Kim Possible, Starfire, Makoto Kino, April O'Neil, etc.
  • Cowardly Lion: Inverted. Danny is normally brave, but can act like a coward at times, particularly when girls are involved. Namely in A Vampire In Love where when he discovers that Sibella is a vampire, he becomes so scared about being in the presence of an ACTUAL vampire that he misinterprets her flirtatious behavior for her wanting to eat him and grows terrified of her. Then he spends the rest of the chapter running from Sibella through Grimwoods, forgetting that he even has ghost powers.
  • Deconstructed Trope: Some of his fics tend to call out several issues with characters and have others react to them in a more realistic way, and sometimes even call out the offender for what they have done.
  • Irony: In Chapter 14 of "A Vampire in Love", Danny enters a game show hosted by ghosts who ask questions about the human world because it's unlikely a ghost would know the answer. Danny was asked questions his desire to become an astronaut led him to know the answers to.
  • Living Aphrodisiac: Nearly every female character in every fanfic finds Danny Fenton “cute” and falls for him.
  • Running Gag: When someone learns the mayor of Amity Park is a supervillain in his stories, they will say, "it's always the politicians." This has been lampshaded, both in a collaboration with Flower princess11 in which Deadpool snarks on it, and in Danny Phantom vs American Dragon Jake Long, where Danny feels a sense of deja vu when Jake says it.
  • Shipper on Deck: He has quite a few favorite pairings, such as Danny and Kim, Danny and Starfire, etc.
  • Shipping Torpedo: It can be safe to say that NeoMark does NOT ship Danny and Sam.
  • Single Woman Seeks Good Man: Most of his female leads tend to fall for his male characters mainly due to this trope.
  • Take That!: Many of his stories tend to feature the characters throw shade at something he's not fond of. For example, in two stories that pair Danny and Kim together, people outside Middleton express disrespect or mockery of Bueno Nacho, a stand-in for the real life Taco Bell.
