Protagonists
- Forced Transformation: They are accidentally turned into frogs by Saku during her spellcasting session in "The Young Apprentice Wizard Girl". They revert back to their normal forms when Kumanpa scares them by turning into a snake.

Japanese: チェビー Chebī
A tabby cat Zooble with an orange flavor, she is one of the three main protagonists of the series. She is best friends with Coron and Panky.
- Action Girl: She’s one tough and assertive Zooble who’s not afraid to kick tail.
- All in the Manual: Apparently, she and Silvy are twin sisters.
- Birthday Episode: Celebrates hers in “Chevy’s Birthday”.
- Gasshole: In two episodes, she does let out a fart.
- Genki Girl: She is one cheerful and energetic Zooble who almost always puts on a smile and is eager to support her fellow Zoobles.
- Gratuitous English: Exclaims “Let’s go!” whenever she’s off to an adventure with her friends.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: She's sometimes seen being rude to other Zoobles which includes yelling at them if she gets riled up, but at the same time she does help her fellow Zoobles along the way if they have a problem.

- Reused Character Design: Her design was reused for Silvy, albeit flipped.
- Sick Episode: Has a cold earlier in the episode "Careless Pom". She gets better later.
- Tomboy and Girly Girl:
- Is the Tomboy to Coron’s Girly Girl.
- She is also the Tomboy to Silvy’s Girly Girl.
- We Used to Be Friends: She used to be friends with Tinny when they were younger but had a falling out later.
Japanese: コロン Koron
A rabbit Zooble with a strawberry milk flavor, she is one of the three main protagonists of the series. She is best friends with Chevy and Panky.
- All in the Manual: Not only are they rivals but Coron and Maron are twins as well.
- Girly Girl with a Tomboy Streak: Although she is typically girly both appearance and personality-wise, she isn’t afraid to do activities with Chevy and Panky that include practicing for a sport.
- The Heart: She usually acts as the peacekeeper of the trio, helping prevent quarrels between them.
- Pink Means Feminine: Has pink accents and carries around a pink candy bag.
- Red Oni, Blue Oni:
- Is the Blue Oni to Chevy’s Red Oni.
- Reused Character Design: Her design was reused for Maron, albeit flipped.
- Thinks Like a Romance Novel: She fits this trope to a T.
- Tomboy and Girly Girl: Is the Girly Girl to Chevy’s Tomboy.
- Trademark Favorite Drink: Milk. She even carries pints of it in her bag in case of emergency.
Japanese: パンキー Pankī
A panda Zooble with a blueberry yoghurt flavor, he is one of the three main protagonists of the series and the only male of the trio. He is best friends with Chevy and Coron.
- Butt-Monkey: Whenever someone gets in a sticky situation, it’s usually him. Even at the end of episodes.
- In "Here Comes Su-Su", the titular character bounces around Candy Land on his head flipping anything he sees upside-down with his magic, and does the same to Panky, who ends up bouncing around on his head just like him. At the end of the episode, when the trio gave Su-Su hourglasses to flip, he goes ahead to flip Panky upside-down a second time.
- In "The Phantom Thief Zooble", Mato goes around stealing random items with her lollipop, and she eventually takes Panky with her as well. At the end, after the trio had befriended Mato after she apologized to them, she goes ahead and runs off taking Panky again.
- The Ditz: He often tries to catch up with Chevy and Coron.
- Food Coma: He falls asleep at the end of episode “An Uproar in the Kitchen Land” after eating.
- Lovable Coward: He’s easily frightened but at the same time he is nice towards both his friends and other Zoobles.
- The One Guy: Of the trio.
- Reused Character Design: His design was reused for Panna.
- Shrinking Violet: An uncommon male example, Panky is the shy one of the group.
- Sleepyhead: Usually has a hard time waking up in the morning, much to Chevy's dismay.
- Verbal Tic: Often says “~mon” at the end of his dialogue.
Japanese: クマンパ Kumanpa
A bear Zooble god who oversees Candy Land and acts as a mentor to the three main protagonists.
- Big Fun: He's the largest of all the Zoobles and has a great sense of humor.
- Genki Guy: He’s almost always seen in a cheerful or excited mood, posing or dancing around.
- Green-Eyed Monster: Downplayed; he’s not evil by any means but the weather will get serious if the trio decide not to depend on him for advice.
- Happy Dance: He’s often shown doing these.
- Does this in “Crew and Kumanpa” when Crew tells him that he and the trio can always depend on him for advice.
- Immortal Immaturity: Despite being a god, he does have his childish moments, especially in "Crew and Kumanpa" where he gets very jealous of the trio depending on Crew and throws a fit by making it rain all over Candy Land.
- Large and in Charge: He oversees Candy Land.
- Large Ham: He can be pretty hammy, especially with his exaggerated movements and poses.
- In the Japanese dub, every time he travels down to Candy Land in a multicolor tunnel, he lets out a guttural "OHOHOHOHOHOI!"
- Luminescent Blush: In “Operation: Matchmaker”, when giving his advice to the trio regarding Frappe’s thoughts about love, he has this.
- Meaningful Name: “Kuma” in Kumanpa means “bear” in Japanese.
- Oh, Crap!:
- When he notices the comic book monster behind him after he gets summoned by the trio for his help in "The Hero Returns". This scares him to the point he immediately leaves without giving the trio any advice.
- Shout-Out: Kumanpa's design is reminiscent of the Buddha from Buddhism, specifically depictions of Siddhartha Gautama.
- Signature Laugh: In the Korean dub, when he travels to and from Candy Land, he has a jolly laugh.
- Verbal Tic: Often ends his sentences in “~moshi”.
- Voluntary Shapeshifting:
- Transforms himself into a snake to get the trio to transform back into their normal selves in "The Young Apprentice Wizard Girl".
- Weather Manipulation: Has the power to change the weather at will.
- In "Crew and Kumanpa", he causes a downpour once he gets upset by the trio telling him that they can now depend on Crew for advice rather than him.
- Wingding Eyes: In "The Disappearance of the Candy Bag", his eyes become hearts when he gives his advice to the trio via a scenario acted out by himself.
The Black Candies
- The Bully: Oh, especially towards the trio.
- Distaff Counterpart: Blacky is to Chevy, Mikey is to Coron, and Cooper is to Panky.
- Finishing Each Other's Sentences: Whenever they’re seen together, Blacky speaks first, then Mikey, then Cooper, and then all three at the same time.
- Friendly Enemy: Whenever they serve as protagonists in certain episodes.
- Jerkass / Jerkass to One: They can be real jerks to Chevy and her friends in particular.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: However, in some episodes do all the members show a kinder and helpful side to them.
- In “Art Goes Round and Round”, even the Black Candies feel sympathy for Pupu as he freaks out while trying to paint the subject of Chevy and the Black Candies on a rock while they have trouble keeping still.
- The Rival: Usually towards the trio.
- Speak in Unison: They speak in unison after each member speaks individually.
- Terrible Trio: Pretty obvious.
- Two Guys and a Girl: Blacky and Mikey being the guys and Cooper being the girl.
- Wouldn't Hurt a Child: Although they're typically rough towards other Zoobles, especially the main trio, they are very nice towards Lou and even try to rescue her once she's being carried away by balloons in "Lou and the Balloons".

A fox Zooble with a vanilla caramel flavor, he is the leader of the Black Candies.
- All in the Manual: He and Mikey are twins.
- Alpha Bastard: Being the leader of his posse, he fits this trope.
- The Leader: Of his gang, the Black Candies.
- Reused Character Design: He has the same markings as Mikey.
Japanese: マイキー Maikī
A fox Zooble with a chocolate mint flavor, he is a member of the Black Candies.
- All in the Manual: He and Blacky are twins.
- Hidden Depths: Turns out he is a music lover.
- The Dragon: He often acts as Blacky’s right-hand Zooble.
- Reused Character Design: He has the same markings as Blacky.

A giraffe Zooble with a chocolate banana flavor, she is a member of the Black Candies and the only female of the posse.
- Ambiguously Related: Due to her similar appearance and name to Coope, some speculate that she may be her sister.
- Gender-Blender Name: Is a female Zooble by the name of Cooper.
- Reused Character Design: Her design was reused for Coope.
- The Smurfette Principle: She is the only female member of the Black Candies.
- Tomboy and Girly Girl: Is the Tomboy to Coope's Girly Girl.

- Tomboy and Girly Girl: Is the Girly Girl to Chevy's Tomboy.
Japanese: マロン Maron
A rabbit Zooble with a grape flavor, she is a recurring character in certain episodes, particularly "Mirror, Mirror!" and "What Day is it Today?"
- All in the Manual: She and Coron are twins.
- It's All About Me: She cares a lot about how she looks to the point she becomes haughty towards other Zoobles.
- Noblewoman's Laugh: Tries doing this at the end of "Mirror, Mirror" after her reenactment of Snow White.
- Oh, Crap!: When she steps on the scales to check her weight only to find that she’s gained some.
- The Rival: To Coron.

A panda Zooble with a peach yogurt flavor, she is a recurring character in episodes "The Circle of Beauty" and "Welcome to the Candy Factory!"
- Ambiguously Related: Due to her similar appearance to Panky, some have speculated that she is his sister.
- Pink Means Feminine: Has pink markings.
- Reused Character Design: She has the same markings as Panky except they’re pink.
Japanese: ピール Pīru
A bird Zooble with a cherry flavor, she is a recurring character in "Go for it, Panky!"
- Ambiguously Related: Is implied to be Reel's sister.
- Girly Girl with a Tomboy Streak: She is the only other female Zooble with some tomboyish traits besides Chevy, but even then, she's still girlier than her. In "Go for it, Panky," she becomes Panky's trainer to help him build his confidence.
- Pink Means Feminine: Is a pink bird.
- Reused Character Design: Has the same markings as Reel albeit red and pink.
Japanese: リール Rīru
A bird Zooble with a soda flavor, he is a fortune teller. He has a recurring role in episodes "Fortune Telling Zoobles" and "Beware of Love Fortune Telling".
- All in the Manual: Apparently he is friends with Blacky.
- Ambiguously Related: Is implied to be Peel's brother.
- Luminescent Blush: Has this in "Mirror, Mirror" when thinking about himself being a prince.
- Nervous Wreck: He tends to worry a lot about prophecies and superstitions especially.
- Reused Character Design: Has the same markings as Peel albeit blue and yellow.
- Verbal Tic: Tends to end sentences in "~Reel", his name.
Japanese: チップ Chippu
A seal Zooble with a milk crepe flavor, she makes up a comedy duo with Tap and speaks with a Kansai accent.
- Reused Character Design: Of Marsea from the western release.

A penguin Zooble with a strawberry cider flavor, she makes up a comedy duo with Chip and speaks with a Kansai accent.
- Reused Character Design: Of Waddles from the western release, even the exact same colors.

An elephant Zooble with a cream soda flavor, he is a parental figure to Lou.
- Parental Substitute: Acts as one to Lou, specifically as both a father and older brother figure to her.

A panda Zooble with an adzuki bean flavor, she is an infant Zooble who is taken care of by Em.
- The Baby of the Bunch: She’s the youngest of all the Zoobles.

- Pokémon Speak: Can only say her name until she learned her first word.

- Vague Age: Although it’s unclear exactly how old she is, she’s often described as a baby and has celebrated a birthday, which could mean she’s one year old.

A koala Zooble with a custard pudding flavor, she is a recurring character in “Careless Pom”, “The Melancholy of Randy”, and “Operation Matchmaking!”.
- Berserk Button:
- Seeing another Zooble with Em, who she has a crush on.
- Gender-Blender Name: Is a female Zooble by the name of Randy. She originally was described as a male in merchandise but was switched to female in the anime.
- Hair-Trigger Temper: So many things can set her off, from when she sees another Zooble with Em or if she gets annoyed.
- Luminescent Blush: Shows this when she gets embarrassed after making Pom cry in “Operation Matchmaking!”
- Yandere: She is so obsessed with Em to the point she’ll lose her marbles whenever she sees another female Zooble with him.
Japanese: ポム Pomu
A mouse Zooble with a lemon flavor, he is a recurring character in episode "Careless Pom".
- Poor Communication Kills: A bad habit of his.
- When he finds out that Chevy has a cold and cannot be with her friends until she gets better, he tells the other Zoobles to not visit her anymore, instead of telling them to not visit her at the moment.

- Shipper on Deck: When he sees Em and Frappe get along in “Operation Matchmaking!”, even throwing confetti around the picnic table where they’re having a date.
- Stealth Pun: He has a lemon flavor and has a terrible habit of being careless, even when it comes to conversing. Talk about sour words.

- The Pollyanna: No matter what happens to her, she always keeps a smile on her face.

Japanese: ミル Miru
A bird Zooble with a cranberry flavor, she is the residential mail carrier of Candy Land. She is a recurring character in "Mill the Mail Carrier".
- Meaningful Name: Her name sound similar to “mail”.
- Pink Means Feminine: Is a pink bird.
- Reused Character Design: Of Georgie from the western release.
- Unstoppable Mailman: What she strives to be. However, in “Mill the Mail Carrier”, she gets her foot injured by accidentally running into Chevy and Panky and thus the trio will have to help deliver the mail for her while her foot takes time to heal.
Japanese: フラッペ Furappe
An elephant Zooble with an apricot flavor, she is a recurring character in episode "Operation Matchmaking!".
- The Eeyore: Has pessimistic thoughts very often and is usually called the “Negative Zooble”.
- Personal Raincloud: Is seen with this over her head as she indulges in her negative thoughts.
- Signature Instrument: The acoustic guitar. She often writes songs to play on the guitar, but they usually have dark lyrics.
Japanese: サンサン Sansan
A starfish Zooble with a habanero flavor, she is a champion figure skater who is a recurring character in episode “Spicy Zoobles”.
- Jerkass: She’s initially pompous and rude towards Chevy and her friends, spilling Coron’s cup of milk on the ground and comparing Chevy’s outfit to a mere costume worn at a Halloween party.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: While Chevy and her friends eavesdrop on her training for the ice skating tournament, they find that there’s more to her than her rough exterior. This is explored more once Chevy finds that one of Sunsan’s skates has broken laces. Ever since Chevy helped her by giving her one of her own laces as a replacement, Sunsan has been nicer to her than she was earlier in the episode she appears in.

A whale Zooble with a sour blueberry flavor, she is a recurring character in episode "Amy the Lovely Whale".
- Shrinking Violet: Is described in her bio to be quite shy and has shown to be nervous when the trio try encouraging her to win Sean's heart.

An elephant Zooble with a ginseng flavor, he is the residential herbalist of Candy Land.

Japanese: アイロ Airo
A giraffe Zooble with a prune flavor, she is a recurring character in episode "The Disappearance of the Candy Bag", where she steals Coron's candy bag and impersonates her throughout Candy Land providing Zoobles with cups of milk to enjoy.
- Paper-Thin Disguise: Her Coron disguise only consists of a rabbit headband and a white onesie.
Japanese: キミー Kimī
A rabbit Zooble with a kiwi flavor, she is a recurring character in episode "Chevy and the Sunset Flowers".

- Nervous Wreck: He tends to get in a panic whenever he tries to find a subject for his art or perfecting it.

A bird Zooble with a tomato flavor, she is an expert thief who is a recurring character in episode "The Phantom Thief Zooble".
- Face Plant: Does this every time she jumps off platforms.
- The Klutz: When she steals things, she has a tendency to go to high places to show how mighty a thief she is and jumping off them, which usually ends in her falling flat on her face.
- Meaningful Name: Her name consists of the last two syllables of "tomato", her flavor.

A porcupine Zooble with a dragon fruit flavor, he is a martial arts master and a recurring character in episode "Circle, Square, Triangle!".

A rabbit Zooble with a pomegranate flavor, she is a poet and a recurring character in episode "Lily the Poet is Inspiring".

A lion Zooble with a cappuccino flavor, he is a recurring character in episode "Fake Kumanpa Appears".
- Fangirl: A gender-inverted example, he's a huge fan of Kumanpa to the point he impersonates him.
- Paper-Thin Disguise: His Kumanpa disguise only consists of a cardboard cutout of him with a hole where the face is supposed to be so he can stick his face through it.

A fennec fox Zooble with a citron tea flavor, he is a recurring character in episode “Crew and Kumanpa”.
- Gratuitous Italian: Bids the trio “ciao” after he helps solve their problems.

A cat Zooble with a plum flavor, she is a recurring character in episode "Shy Loff".
