  • Big Damn Heroes: Surprisingly for him, he does this TWICE:
    • When Aoi and Heiho-kun were dealing with Captain Wart and Warter, he set off their bombs and send the two flying. Though it turned out he did so accidentally as he was trying to escape the bag.
    • An intentional example happens in the V3 world when he snaps Makoto from his Despair Event Horizon, allowing him to save the others from theirs.
  • Cat Boy: He becomes this after getting the Super Bell.
  • The Friend Nobody Likes: With the exception of Makoto, no one is really friends with him and mainly tolerate him. This is especially true for Kyoko.
  • Incredible Shrinking Man: He shrinks because of the Mini Mushroom. He returns back to normal size because of a Super Mushroom.
  • Verbal Tic: After getting the Cat power-up, he starts ending his sentences with "nyah".
