The King Himself
Clyde
"When ya get to the moon, tell 'em Clyde sent ya!!!"
The main character of Splat-Mercs. Born Clydulion Xeno Hudson, he is one of the last known Xenolopods in the universe. To make things worse, Clydulion is cursed with the "Sin Chains", a permanent curse of the ancient times; if he were too die in any way, his own existence and spirit will be erased forever. No hell nor heaven; he will be gone for good.
- Anti-Hero: He might be the main protagonist, but that doesn't mean he'll take shit from anyone.
- Berserk Button: Unless you don't value your own life, never call him a parasite.
- The Berserker:
- BFS: He is fond of big swords just as much as he is fond of guns.
- Combat Pragmatist: If you're winning, rest assured that he will retort to this.
- Determinator: His goal is to be free from his curse, and he will not rest until he is. Even after Doverochi unceremoniously kills him, the Xenolopod will not accept his fate.
- Expy: Of Asura.
- Eye Scream: It is shown several times that his eye is constantly melting. He uses his Ink-shifting abilities to suppress it.
- Gun Nut: No word on god's green earth can describe how spectacularly happy Clyde is when he gets a gun.
- The Hero Dies: In Part 240 at the hands of Doverochi. Not that it sticks.
- Kamehame Hadoken: He actually uses Kamehameha as one of his attacks.
- Ki Manipulation: Much like his inspiration, he can use Mantra.
- Large Ham:
- Last of His Kind: Clyde is one of the last living Xenolopods, with his only surviving relative being his very own little sister.
- Person of Mass Destruction: One of his nicknames? Raging Atomic Bomb.
- Really 700 Years Old: Canonically, Clyde is 317 years old, given that his species has a lifespan of 130.000 years.
- Secret Art: He is a 4th tier user of the Lost Art.
- Tranquil Fury: When he tells you to shut up, he mean it!
- Troll: There are moments where Clyde will mess with just about anyone, family and allies included.
- Walking Disaster Area: Thanks to his soul being bound to the Sin Chains, he is doomed to bring chaos and mayhem wherever he goes.

Jessie
Clydulion's little sister and only surviving relative, Jessica Xeno Hudson.
- The Baby of the Bunch: Treated as such by others.
- Berserk Button: Like her brother, being called a parasite.
- Hidden Buxom: Her cup size is E, but she keeps it well-hidden by wearing a special bra.
- Person of Mass Destruction: Normally, Jessie is as sweet as a kitten. And as soon as things go nuts, she falls to pieces. But good lord; when her fear is gone, then boy its on!
- Shy Blue-Haired Girl: Okay, maybe not that shy.
Morgania
The main hacker of the Splat-Mercs, and a Vampire Princess of an unknown kingdom.
- Our Vampires Are Different: Specifically a Vampire of unknown relation by blood.
- Weakened by the Light: Resistant towards sunlight, but she will end up getting sluggish if she stays in it.
The Devil Himself
Doverochi
"Then bringing forth Armageddon will be all the more fun...!"
The God of Oblivion, Emperor of Tyrants, Devil of Devils, The Cataclysm, The Inevitable, Destroyer of the Omniverse, Embodiment of Hatred. The Omni-Devel.
The main antagonist himself.
- Big Bad: You don't get any badder than him.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: He delivers a particularly nasty one to Clyde.
- The Dreaded: Even his own subordinates are afraid of him.
- Hates Everyone Equally: And we do mean everyone.
- Hero Killer: He is already no stranger in this regard, but his most notable example is when he shoots Clyde without much fanfare.
- Only Known by Their Nickname: Doverochi is actually a nickname, but it would be easier to count the times he has been referred to by his actual name.
- Sadist: Need we say more?
- Seven Deadly Sins: Lustful, greedy, wrathful, lazy, prideful, envious AND gluttonous? That sounds about right.
Legion of Armageddon

Amon
"That authority is not for a Voidling to decide... it's as simple as that..."
The Demon Emperor, Amon is the younger brother of Doverochi and member of the Legion.
- Noble Demon: Even if he is prideful and arrogant, he is still honorable.
- Worthy Opponent: The only times Amon actually fights is when an enemy is stronger then most minions, suggesting that he views Havoc as part of the list.
Stelka
The most sneakiest of the Archdemons and right hand Demon of the Devil.
- Combat Pragmatist: If he can't get what he wants, dirty tricks usually follow.
- Hidden Depths: Apparently, he wrote the famous Demon novel "How I started a War and got away with it"
Death Heart
The Reaper Warlock, as well as the Hellraiser, Darkulasian is the left hand Demon to the Devil.
- Armor-Piercing Attack: His magic is strong enough to do this.
- Berserk Button: Questioning his methods of magic.
- Kung-Fu Wizard: He is most formidable in magic.
Drelren
Interrogator, Dungeon Master, Lust Queen, Succubus Empress.
- Hermaphrodite: In accordance to her bio.
- Hopeless Suitor: Her goal is to become the Goddess of Oblivion with Doverochi as her Husband. Its easier said than done because Doverochi is not interested.
- LOL, 69: She is said to be 69 million years old.
- Your Mind Makes It Real: If you end up having her in your dreams, your sleep is gonna last a long time.
Incognito
He who is nobody, Priest of Blood, Vampire King.
- All There in the Manual: He views Vampires from space as heresy to his kind.
- Combat Sadomasochist: Why does he fight with weapons made out of silver? Because he likes the burning on his skin.
- Our Vampires Are Different: A Vampire who wears clothes fit for a Priest.
- Weakened by the Light: He was rewarded by Doverochi, so this no longer applies to him.
Crusifix Sisters
Clenza Crusifix & Carinzo Crusifix, better known as Succubus Sisters, a two Vampire siblings who Serve Incognito.
- Expy: Of the Valentine Brothers.
- Extreme Omnisexual: Two of them.
Rimsunite
Self-proclaimed greatest spy, warrior, ruler, destroyer, etc.
- Butt-Monkey: She is even referred to as such by her peers.
- Doomy Dooms of Doom: Each of her attacks have the word "doom" in them apart from one.
- Dude, Where's My Respect?: Literally the only reason she is still alive is because Doverochi needs something entertaining.
- Expy: Of Invader Zim.
- Minion with an F in Evil: To actually call her "evil" is almost like calling the sun a planet.
- Small Name, Big Ego: If you could get paid for your ego, Rimsunite would already be the richest Imp in all of hell.
Kuroy
The Unfeeling battle addict and Clydulion's main rival.
- Expy: Not only of Zodd, but also of Baldur.
- Feel No Pain: True to his inspiration.
- Hated by All: His Apostle comrades don't think highly of him.
- Hunter of His Own Kind: A rogue Xenolopod gone Apostle who will gladly kill another Apostle for satisfaction.
- The Rival: To Clyde.
The Vengeful Horde
In General
The Vengeful Horde, or VH for short, are a terrorist military group formed by Linda Graves as a means of revenge against the one who murdered her and take over the world... and then some.
Linda
Admiral Linda Graves is the leader of the Vengeful Horde and one of the most notable of Clyde's enemies.
- Always Second Best: One of her goals is to become the strongest of all, implying that she is not keen on being this trope.
- Arch-Enemy: Maybe not the first one to Clyde, but definitely the most iconic of them.
- Living Mood Ring: Her eyelids have this property, changing colors depending Linda's current mood.
Lucy
The younger sister of Linda Graves, Lucy Graves is just as nuts as her dear big sister.
- Arrogant Kung-Fu Girl: Just because she claims to be the strongest in the army doesn't mean she's the smartest in the army.
The Rippers
In General
A Crime Organization.
- Hate Sink: All of them, especially Alberta and Susin.
Alberta
A Crime Boss and founder of the Rippers, Alberta De Vasta plans to attain control of New Splat City to get the riches of a lifetime, all while killing anyone who gets in the way.
- Rape Is a Special Kind of Evil: We'll spare you the details, but describing Alberta as a rapist would be a gross understatement.
Susin
A Title Hunter affiliated with the Rippers, Susin J. Lipsync is a real piece of work.
- Bad Boss: She is willing to shoot her own Rippers just for the fun of it.
Secondary Villains
In General
Villains who didn't originate in Splat-Mercs but are otherwise involved in the story.
- Ain't Too Proud to Beg: Many of these villains fall victim to this.
Seren
Leader of The Octosaurs Republic who is mentioned in Part 3.
- The Ghost: She is only mentioned in Part 3
- Killed Offscreen: Seren is confirmed to have died long after Part 3.
Major Octo
An Octoling villain who is mentioned in Part 3.
- The Ghost: She is only mentioned in Part 3.
Agronica
An evil Octoling who first debuts in Part 67.
- Ax-Crazy: Sane is not a word used to describe her.
- Made a Slave: After obtaining the Mind Stone, Doverochi uses Agronica as a guinea pig to test it on.
Lord Havoc
The Lord of the Void who first appears in Part 67.
- Badass Boast: He gives one to Doverochi in Part 76.Havoc: "Not if Eternal Obliteration comes! And it will be me who brings it!"
- Made a Slave: Havoc suffers this by the time we see him again in Part 171, courtesy of Doverochi.
- Oh, Crap!: His reaction to Doverochi wielding the Infinity Gauntlet.Havoc: "Is he seriously after "them" right now!? It's too early for that!"
- Power of the Void: In case his title wasn't enough.
- Throat Light: His mouth always emits a white glow.
