- Ambiguously Jewish: It has been confirmed by
Word of God that the family's last name is Rabinowitz and that they are secular Jews. This is never explicitly stated in the game; however, Noelle's outfit on Day 3 includes a Star of David necklace. - Bedtime Brainwashing: Jason does this remotely by putting subliminal messages in the music that plays throughout the house at night. Since he has to stay awake until they're all asleep to monitor their progress this eventually results in him not getting enough sleep himself, causing him to pass out in the middle of Day 5.
- Brainwashed: Jason is sending hypnotic subliminals through the house every night brainwashing his family and, accidently, himself. He can also program them more directly by playing music from his delimiter, placing them into a trance for more specific programming.
- Buxom Beauty Standard: All of the women in Jason's step-family are busty and Jason certainly seems to consider them more beautiful for it.
- Casual Kink: In the Good Endings for each individual girl, Jason brainwashes the other three to act as though his relationship with his chosen girl are completely normal. In the Golden Ending, they're all pretty casual about each other's kinks and discuss how to brainwash more people to serve Jason as though it's only a natural thing to discuss.
- Character Development: While a lot of the alterations in behaviour are brought about by Mind Manipulation most of it does actually help the characters discover things about themselves they didn't previously know. It also provides them a way to open up to each other about why they treat one another the way they do and how to repair their relationships going forward. Regardless of how you feel about their morality, its impossible to deny they are much closer and happier together in the Good Endings than they were at the start of the game.
- Covert Pervert: All of them either already were one or develop into one over the course of the game. Depending on your ending, they can become a lot more overt.
- Disappeared Dad: There is no mention of where the family's absent father is. Although, in Noelle's Ending she implies he was a hypnotist just like Jason, causing her to have little memory of him and therefore couldn't really tell her children much about him. And in the Cat Cult Ending, it's even implied that it might've been Cypress Zeta.
- Dysfunctional Family: It'd be hard to find a better example of one.
- Flirty Stepsiblings: Sarah is the only one of Jason's step-sisters who initially fits this trope (and even then, only to get Jason to do what she wants) but as the subliminals work their magic, Jane and Kira start to turn into this as well.
- Girl on Girl Is Hot: Jason seems to think so and eventually he gets the rest of his step-family to agree.
- Happiness in Slavery: Despite Jason feeling bitter about his treatment, he isn't looking to get revenge and punish his step-family, instead wanting them to genuinely enjoy their future lives as his sex slaves.
- Hidden Depths: Despite the nature of the game, all of the step-family are slowly revealed to have understandable flaws that drive their actions and treatment of Jason. Ultimately, they all do care about each other, even if their own ambitions, selfishness, and perversities get in the way at times.
- I'm a Man; I Can't Help It: Invoked. The subliminals brainwash women to adopt this way of thinking so they're more inclined to forgive Jason's more outrageous actions, reasoning that because he is a man he has needs and therefore can't be expected to restrain himself.
- It Runs in the Family: Kira points out in the Golden Ending that their family is comprised of overachievers.
- Noelle became an affluent Business Manager for a gigantic corporation whilst raising four children on her own.
- Kira is the youngest chemical engineer in the country.
- Jane is a talented athlete with a promising career in sports.
- Sarah has a large number of social contacts at school and is skilled at manipulating people to get what she wants.
- Jason was a bit of a late bloomer, but he ended up being capable of building a mind control device, enslaving his step-family within a week, and was always a gifted musician.
- Lovable Sex Maniac: In the Golden Ending, they've all become this to some extent with daily orgies, constant teasing and plotting how to brainwash other people into joining their harem.
- More than Mind Control: As it transpires in the Golden Ending, Jason doesn't even need to use the delimiter to convince all four of his step-family to accept him as their master. Subconsciously, they were all actually enjoying themselves and know it was the happiest they've ever been as a family.
- Naughty by Night: Implied. In all the Good Endings of the game, it seems that whichever women have been successfully brainwashed still lead productive and professional lives outside of their home at work or school but once they're back with their master they indulge fully in NSFW activities.
- Not Blood Siblings: Despite sharing similar physical features, it is stressed by Cypress Zeta that they are all step-family, even the twins, because of cat magic.
- Not So Above It All:
- In some of the Bad Endings, despite their utter disgust with Jason's attempts to brainwash them, all the girls (except Jane) are willing to brainwash Jason in revenge. And in Sarah's case she's willing to brainwash the rest of the family for her own amusement too.
- Additionally, the Golden Ending has Jason convince his un-brainwashed family to admit that they genuinely enjoy the new perverted family dynamic.
- Sex Slave: Zig Zagged. It's what Jason aspires to turn the women of his step-family into, however, it ultimately plays out more like establishing Safe, Sane, and Consensual D/s relationships than the darker examples of this trope.
- Significant Wardrobe Shift: As the days progress and their corruption grows, the women's outfits become more and more risque. This later becomes zig-zagged as in the "Golden Ending", they go back to wearing their normal outfits. At least in public anyway.

- All Men Are Perverts: Discussed. Jason is undeniably a pervert but he admits that his kinks are more outlandish than most normal men. Also, over the course of the game it becomes apparent that his female step-family have just as much difficulty controlling their libido and most resorted to extreme measures to keep it under control.
- And I Must Scream:
- This happens in some of the Bad Endings were Jason is brainwashed by various members of his step-family. But he begrudgingly admits that he actually finds some of these scenarios at least a little enjoyable because he gets to be involved in someone's perverted fantasies, even if they aren't his own.
- In the Cat Cult ending, Jason brainwashes himself to erase his perversions for his family. He realizes with some discomfort that it feels like a small internal part of him is constantly screaming in horror at his new personality.
- At Least I Admit It: It becomes apparent over the course of the game that the majority of Jason's step-family are just as perverted as he is but they treat him like a freak because he doesn't hide it like they do. In Jane's Good Ending, he can say this to her verbatim and she reluctantly admits she's just like him.
- Beware the Quiet Ones: Among his control freak stepmother, overachieving eldest stepsister, champion athlete step-twin, and social butterfly younger stepsister, the quiet awkward Jason easily ends up getting pushed around and mistreated. But when an opportunity to improve his life is granted by a sudden snow storm, he uses it to bite back in a BIG way.
- Black Sheep: Subverted. Jason's step-family certainly treat him like this due to his perversities but as the story unfolds it becomes increasingly clear that they're similar.
- Brilliant, but Lazy: Just as Kira theorizes, Jason is actually incredibly capable at achieving his goals regardless of how insane and outlandish they might seem. However, Jason's self-esteem has been so beaten down by his family that he has no confidence in his abilities. He's also naturally quite unambitious, not planning to do much more with his potentially world-altering invention beyond making a harem out of his step-family.
- Butt-Monkey: He is mistreated by his entire step-family, sleeps in the attic, and is forced to do his stepsisters' chores when they don't want to. Even after he starts trying to use subliminals to fix his problems he isn't immune to this; there are multiple Bad Endings where he ends up far worse than where he started. To list a few examples, his numerous fates can include being forced to move out and cut all ties with his family, getting kicked out of the house in the middle of the snow storm, or having his own invention used against him by his stepmom or one of his stepsisters.
- Distracted by the Sexy: Has trouble at home precisely because he's surrounded by gorgeous unattainable women who tend to wear suggestive clothing. His glances at them have not gone unnoticed and cause him to be treated harshly by his family.
- Extreme Doormat: Jason is pushed around by his step-family and feels unable to stand up for himself. It gets so bad he ends up building a Mind-Control Device to fix his problems and regain some control over his own life.
- Extreme Libido: Justified. In the Golden Ending, he brainwashes himself to ensure he'll be capable of satisfying the needs of his harem.
- From Nobody to Nightmare: He's certainly on the right path. He started out as a loser whose family treated him like a doormat, but in the Golden Ending he begins to make plans that sound suspiciously similar to world domination.
- Grew a Spine: As Kira notes in the game's climax, it's pretty impressive how, over the span of a week, Jason goes from being an Extreme Doormat to the assertive and confident leader of the household. Although, it's heavily implied that accidentally subjecting himself to his own subliminal brainwashing is a major cause of it.
- Hoist by His Own Petard:
- At the end of the game he realizes he's been accidentally brainwashing himself with his own subliminals the entire time.
- Falls victim to this in several Bad Endings where the delimiter is used against him by a vengeful stepmother or stepsister. He's hoisted twice over because not only is his own Mind-Control Device being used against him, but the only reason he falls under it's control so easily in the first place is because he's been getting programmed by his own subliminals as well.
- Incest-ant Admirer: Downplayed, since they're technically his step-family. He's one of these for all the women in his family but lives in misery before the start of the game because he can't control his feelings for them and considers it an Inconvenient Attraction.
- Idiot Savant: Jason is outshined by his siblings in intelligence, popularity, and physical fitness, he is constantly Distracted by the Sexy, and doesn't realize that pumping subliminals through his entire house would leave him vulnerable to being brainwashed too. But, despite his idiocy he was able to combine his passion for music with Kira's work on brain chemistry, Noelle's marketing techniques, Sarah's manipulative seduction skills, and Jane's aggressive sports tactics to construct a working Mind-Control Device in his attic out of junk he bought with his allowance.
- Innocently Insensitive: Jason's reactions to Jane's body post-puberty drove a wedge between them.
- Kissing Cousins: In the Sequel Hook of the Golden Ending, it is revealed that Jason got in trouble in the past for getting caught kissing one of his cousins.
- Like Father, Like Son: In Noelle's Ending, she reveals that Jason is a lot like his previously-unmentioned father. Namely, that his father hypnotized Noelle throughout their four-year relationship, leaving her with little memory of their love life when he left.
- Magical Flutist: Averted. Jason is a talented musician, capable of playing the oboe, and has the power to hypnotize others with his music. However, he hides brainwashing subliminals within recorded music rather than being capable of playing hypnotic music naturally, using pseudo-science instead of magic to manipulate the minds of others.
- A Man Is Always Eager: He is very eager and very sexually frustrated, to the point he does all of Sarah's homework and chores whenever she asks even though he knows she'll never go further than teasing him.
- Middle Child Syndrome: Jason has an acute case of this. Kira is the confident and reliable eldest child, Sarah is the Attention Whore youngest child, and – making matters even worse – his fellow middle child Jane outshines him in confidence and talent, leading to him being The Un-Favourite.
- Mistreatment-Induced Betrayal: Jason was always a pervert but it was the mistreatment from his family that pushed him to making a Mind-Control Device. Although, at first he only intended to use it to improve his relationship with them. Only after the subliminals influenced his mind too did he begin to grow more depraved and ambitious in his plans.
- My God, What Have I Done?:
- When his subliminals lead to a sexual awakening for Kira after years of repression, Jason is at first delighted. It quickly turns into this reaction when he realizes that his previously dismissive and disdainful older stepsister is quickly turning into someone who mercilessly torments him with her body and wants to take all control away from him.
- Averted in other instances. Perhaps surprisingly, Jason never feels this way about using the subliminals to brainwash his step-family in the first place and in the climax of the game actually puts up a reasonable defense as to why he felt like it was his only option.
- The Peeping Tom: Jason's Establishing Character Moment is him spying on Jane in the shower.
- Polar Opposite Twins: He is a quiet, subdued, and musically talented young man whilst Jane is aggressive, loudly opinionated, and sporty. The differences between them shift over the course of the story as Jane learns to embrace her femininity and to enjoy submission whilst Jason becomes increasingly confident and commanding.
- Protagonist Journey to Villain: Downplayed. Even at the start of the game, Jason isn't heroic by any stretch of the imagination. But he starts out with the relatively harmless motivation of trying to get some respect from his family. Over the course of the week, this warps into trying to turn them all into a subservient harem. On Day 5 it transpires that this change is at least partially due to Jason accidentally subjecting himself to his own subliminal messages.
- "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Delivers one to the whole family on Day 5, pointing out they all treated him like dirt for having an attraction he had no control over. He proceeds to point out how all of them would deliberately and repeatedly put him in situations that would elicit a reaction so they could punish him as a form of relief from their own problems. Eventually they all have to agree they're partly to blame for Jason snapping the way he did.
- Sex God: Justified. In the Golden Ending, he brainwashes himself to be capable of keeping a harem of four women satisfied multiple times a day.
- Then Let Me Be Evil: Jason's family treat him like a creep and a pervert anyway so he sees little point in fighting against that image anymore. They have spent the majority of his life punishing him for feelings which he never actually acted on, which results in him decided he might as well act on them anyway.Jason: I couldn't turn [my feelings] off, so why not become the bad guy?
- The Un-Favourite: Jason's whole family treats him with various degrees of disdain and relegate him to living in the attic whilst they take the main floor, further establishing the divide between them.
- Jane thinks he's a creep and frequently beats him up as punishment for his perverted tendencies.
- Kira verbally berates him for being a pushover and not living up to her expectations for the members of their family, whilst constantly pointing out how she is superior to him.
- Sarah emotionally manipulates him into doing her chores and homework for her by exploiting his sexual frustrations.
- Noelle is neglectful due to her busy workload. Even when she is around, she takes the side of his sisters every time.
- Villain Protagonist: His justifications aside, Jason is still trying to brainwash his stepfamily into being his sex slaves.

- Brother–Sister Team: Implied. She and Jason used to be this before they hit puberty. It is the promise that they'll get the chance to be this again that convinces them to forgive each other.
- Best Her to Bed Her: Invoked. In Jane's Ending, Jane issues a competition to her brother to see which one of their points of view is correct. If she's correct then Jason undoes all the brainwashing he's done, but if he's correct then she'll have already admitted to wanting to be with him.
- Competition Freak: Jane loves sports competitions but is also willing to take on challenges of any other sort head-on.
- Covert Pervert: Despite her Suspiciously Specific Denial of the contrary, Jane's behaviour shows that she subconsciously is just as much a pervert as her brother.
- She leaves the bathroom door unlocked, secretly hoping Jason will sneak in and spy on her.
- She wears frilly lingerie around the house, secretly hoping Jason will find out about it.
- In Jane's Ending, she reveals that she was actually attracted to Jason long before he started to develop feelings for her and she started to do perverse stuff around him before he even really understood it. Eventually, Noelle taught her that those thoughts were wrong and to reject them, which caused Jane to punish Jason for having those same feelings later in life.
- Double Standard: Abuse, Female on Male: Averted and Discussed. Jane feels beating up Jason in the past was warranted due to his deviant behaviour but, as Jason later points out, it was really just an unhealthy way for Jane to vent her frustrations over feeling the same way towards him and worsened their relationship far more than if they'd had an actual conversation about why he behaved the way he did.
- Fetish: Jane has an interesting one for being treated "girly" and for being humiliated as a "loser." The girliness side of it comes from her denial that she's really a Girly Girl and the "loser" aspect comes from her competitive streak and the knowledge that if she loses to Jason she can indulge in her fantasies.
- Foil: To Jason. He is a physically weak music-nerd who is too beaten down to have a frank conversation with his family about unfair treatment of him and generally ends up as an Extreme Doormat. Meanwhile, Jane is athletic, outspoken about her objections to Jason's behaviour, and often proves her physical superiority by beating him up. Over the course of the game, Jason's journey involves him struggling to take back some control in his life and be respected as a man by his step-family, whilst Jane's story revolves around her slowly realizing that her Tomboy persona is her way of hiding from her femininity and her eventual acceptance that she can enjoy her desire to be submissive so long as its on her own terms.
- Girliness Upgrade: What she undergoes over the course of the week.
- I Didn't Mean to Turn You On: This is her defense to Jason's accusations she's been deliberately luring him into situations where he'll do perverted stuff with her... he doesn't buy it.
- Incest-ant Admirer: Subverted, both during the main plot and in the Cat Cult Ending:
- It appears that she loathes Jason for having a crush on her despite being her twin. However, it is slowly revealed that she actually reciprocates his feelings but was always taught to feel ashamed of them.
- In the Cat Cult Ending, after Jason brainwashes himself into losing his Inconvenient Attraction to his step-family, Jane winds up becoming the Admirer to Jason instead. Since he's no longer interested, her usual methods of trying to tempt him into doing perverted stuff and hanging out with her no longer work. Her own repressed feelings for him become more apparent as she seems heartbroken that he has become completely disinterested in being around her and they've forever lost their once intense bond.
- Inconvenient Attraction: She loudly makes it clear that she disagrees with Jason's attraction to his step-family. Although, this is mainly to hide that she also had one herself on Jason when they were younger until Noelle taught her to repress it.
- Like Mother, Like Daughter: She greatly respects Noelle and they are the most similar in their enjoyment of submission. However, Noelle accepted her kinks long ago whilst Jane is still in denial.
- Master of the Mixed Message: Jason has a real hard time uncovering exactly what Jane wants and is thinking.
- Deep down, Jane wants to be feminine, but due to viewing femininity as weak she doesn't want anyone to know she enjoys it and would rather pretend someone is making her do feminine things.
- One of Jane's greatest desires is to repair her relationship with Jason, but her Tsundere methods of doing so and furious denial of her own attraction to him leads to her purposefully luring him into situations they both know he'll misbehave in so she can punish him for it with a beating because negative interaction is still better than nothing.
- Mother, I Want To Marry My Brother: In Jane's Ending, she reveals she actually expressed something akin to this to Noelle long before Jason realized he was interested in his step-twin. Noelle's negative reaction taught Jane that her infatuation was wrong and drove a wedge into the stepsiblings' relationship, especially when their feelings for each other became less innocent.
- Pervert Revenge Mode: Her default response to Jason's antics early on in the game is to react violently. And when she figures out about Jason's subliminals, she destroys his computer, the delimiter charger, and tries to incite the rest of the family into snapping out of their brainwashing and turning against him.
- Polar Opposite Twins: She is the physically dominant, aggressive, and sporty twin whilst Jason is quiet, subdued and more talented in musical and cerebral fields. The differences between them shift over the course of the story as Jane learns to embrace her femininity and learn to enjoy submission whilst Jason becomes increasingly confident and commanding. Jane also comes to think of their differences as being the very things that complete them, viewing them as being like the "sun and moon" or "lock and key."
- Real Women Don't Wear Dresses: Deconstructed. At first, Jane prefers wearing athletic gear all the time. She associates femininity and feminine clothing with powerlessness due to how women are treated in the media and how she herself was treated differently after puberty. But Jason can convince her to re-embrace her feminine side and still be able to take charge of her own life whilst also allowing herself to be submissive on her own terms.
- Sex Is Evil, and I Am Horny: Noelle taught Jane that any and all attraction between her and Jason was wrong. So once Jane uncovers Jason's brainwashing of her and the others, she is the one that most vehemently condemns him for his actions… then tells him afterwards that if he still wants her then he'd better man up and claim her for himself.
- Tomboy with a Girly Streak: Invoked and Subverted. Jane deliberately tries to avoid being feminine to try to dissuade Jason from perving on her, which leads to her furiously denying any interest in things that are feminine. Over the course of the game it becomes increasingly apparent she is actually more a Girly Girl with a Tomboy Streak in denial, with her love of sports being her only real Tomboy quality.
- Tsundere: To an outsider it would seem like Jane despises Jason when in reality she can't stand that they ever got out of sync. Her stubbornness, denial and unwillingness to open up are things that have to be overcome to fix their relationship.
- Twincest: More accurately "Step-Twincest." Jane fervently denies holding any romantic feelings for Jason whatsoever but is quickest to accept the subliminals that help her repair her relationship with her stepbrother and allow them to "complete" one another.
- We Used to Be Friends: A complicated case. She and Jason used to be inseparable to the point of almost being Single-Minded Twins. Once puberty hit, however, they both drifted apart due to their Inconvenient Attraction for each other. Jane is trying desperately to find a way to spend time with her brother and mend their relationship whilst simultaneously not let anyone know that's her intention.
- White Sheep: The only member of the family who will always destroy the delimiter if she gets her hands on it rather than use it to live out her own fantasies.

- Aggressive Submissive: It takes a lot of effort on Jason's part, but he finally convinces the domineering Kira to let him take charge in their relationship. But that does little to change her personality outside of the bedroom.
- Aloof Big Sister: Kira is the youngest chemical engineer in the country and takes great pride in being more mature and responsible than her younger stepsiblings.
- Aloof Dark-Haired Girl: She's the most mature of Jason's step-siblings (at least initially), and she shares the dark hair of the rest of her family.
- Attention Whore: Kira has always been prideful and wanted acknowledgement for her achievements. When her sex drive is reawakened by Jason's subliminals it quickly warps those feelings into this, coupled with an interest in exhibitionism.
- Character Catchphrase: Repeatedly says some variation of: "I am the youngest chemical engineer in the country." This self-proclaimed title is basically Kira's catchphrase and she takes pride in reminding her stepsiblings about it frequently. Even in a trance, she'll correct Jason on it if he doesn't say it correctly.
- Closet Geek: Her high-profile job, strict professionalism, and desire to be the best have consumed all of her free time in recent years but Jason and Sarah remember a time that she used to play Dungeons & Dragons.
- Control Freak: Jason muses early on that the only reason Kira hasn't tried to take over the house and manage all their lives for them is because she respects Noelle's authority. This winds up being Foreshadowing because when Noelle begins to relax and resign control over to Jason, Kira becomes a lot bolder and harder to control.
- Create Your Own Villain: If Jason had never tried brainwashing her then she'd have continued repressing her desires and only speaking to him sparingly to show her disappointment in him. Once she embraces her newfound libido, she delights in teasing him every chance she gets, trying to take control of him and – should she get her hands on the delimiter – turning him into her slave and subjecting him to some extreme and creative punishments.
- Deadpan Snarker: Kira's smug and superior nature makes her quick with a quip at her siblings' expense.
- Distracted by the Sexy:
- She delights in doing this to Jason once she rediscovers her sexuality. Ironically, she's very susceptible to falling victim to this herself due to her years spent repressing her sexual feelings. When she learns the truth about what Jason has been doing and the full extent to which the delimiter has been corrupting them all, she has the calmest response and tries to act as the Only Sane Man. But, she quickly finds her attempts to do so severely hampered by the fact everything the others say and do – accidently or intentionally – now only turns her on more and more.
- In the Golden Ending, Jason and Sarah exploit the fact Kira is vulnerable to falling for this trope to make her too aroused and distracted to overthink the situation and get her to submit to Jason.
- Dominatrix: In general, Kira is more dominant than the other women in Jason's life. Kira is the most willing to "misbehave" with Jason but they have a power struggle over who exactly gets to be in charge. In her Bad Ending, she brainwashes Jason and makes him her Sex Slave, locking him into chastity and tormenting him for her own amusement.
- Fetish: She develops kinks for the thrill of breaking taboos and exhibitionism.
- Hypercompetent Sidekick: Once she submits to Jason, she is still just as intelligent as before. In the Golden Ending, she expresses dissatisfaction with Jason's lack of ambition, pushes him to think bigger, and provides the plan to expand the harem.
- Hypocrite:
- Kira often looks down on Jason for being too subservient and scolds him for letting Sarah use her body to manipulate him. However, once she gains confidence in the sexual appeal of her own body, she tries to use it to tease and control Jason in the exact same way.
- In her Bad Ending, she is at first appalled that Jason tried to brainwash her, but uses his delimiter to brainwash him into being her slave and satisfying her own sexual needs.
- Insufferable Genius: She is the "youngest chemical engineer in the country" and can be very condescending to her younger, less successful stepbrother. When she learns about Jason's Mind-Control Device she is the quickest to comprehend how it works and the actual extent of the influence it has had over them. In her Bad Ending she is even able to work on improvements to Jason's "amateurish" subliminals.
- Like Mother, Like Daughter:
- She has clearly inherited her workaholism, ambition, and being a Control Freak from her mother Noelle. However, whilst Noelle is comfortable so long as somebody is in control of a situation even if it isn't herself, Kira feels like she needs to take charge in every scenario for things to be done the proper way.
- She and Noelle also share the fact they both adhere to the trope of Brains and Bondage, however, Noelle leans towards being the in the submissive role whilst Kira wants to be the dominant type.
- Mini-Boss: The confrontation with Kira at the end of Day 3 makes her feel like a Mid-Game Boss to many players. There are more dialogue options in this point of the game that can result in a Bad Ending than anywhere else and Kira can really feel like a barrier the player must overcome to progress the story.
- Only Sane Man: At the end of the game, after her Character Development, she has the calmest and most level-headed response when the family learns about Jason's subliminals that have been brainwashing them all. Jason is too busy defending himself, Jane too busy accusing him, Noelle has gotten too used to being submissive to regain control, and Sarah is just angry that now she won't get to be a puppy. Kira is able to quickly discern precisely how Jason's invention worked, understands how things have gone too far and rather than just solely blaming Jason realizes that he's no longer fully in control of his actions either. She's just unfortunate that everything the others are doing are causing her to become Distracted by the Sexy.
- The Perfectionist: As the youngest chemical engineer in the country, Kira pushes herself and her family to be impeccable at everything they do and is quick to berate Jason for not living up to expectations. A big part of Kira's story is her learning that this way of life isn't healthy, that she needs to relax more often, and that she doesn't always need to be in control of everything. Towards the end of the game, Kira admits that she put so much pressure on Jason because she views their whole family as overachievers and sincerely thinks they're capable of anything when they're at their best.
- Pride: Kira's fatal flaw. Most of the victories Jason obtains over her comes from getting her into a situation where her pride won't let her back down.
- The Reliable One: Kira's events, at least at first, focus on how she views herself as this within the family, and how much stress she's causing herself by maintaining the image at all times. When she does finally cut loose, she's the most irresponsible and reckless due to her previous years of repression.
- The Tease: Kira turns into this as time goes on, more addicted to the thrill of "taboo" behaviour than gaining physical pleasure. Unfortunately for Jason, with them being trapped indoors by the snow, all of her teasing is directed at him.
- Shameless Fanservice Girl: Whilst the other women lose more and more of their clothing as the days go by, they are all unaware of the implications due to the subliminals. Kira, meanwhile, knows exactly how much skin she's showing off and is reveling the attention it's getting her.
- Sibling Rivalry: Has a minor one with Sarah, viewing her as a brat who uses her body to get what she wants, directly opposing Kira who repressed all sexual feelings and focused on using her mind to get ahead in life. It probably doesn't help that they're both trying to be the Attention Whore in the family. In Sarah's Bad Ending, it's notable that Kira is the only one who is still vainly trying to resist Sarah's brainwashing, whilst Noelle, Jane, and Jason seem to have accepted it.
- So Proud of You: Despite everything that he's done, at the end of the game Kira is actually quite impressed that Jason took her advice, Grew a Spine and tried to take what he wanted rather than continuing to be the Extreme Doormat he used to be. She's also pretty grateful that this whole experience has enabled her to overcome five years of repressing her sexual desires.
- Workaholic: Kira’s entire life revolves around her stressful job as the youngest chemical engineer in the country.

- The Atoner: Zig Zagged. Whilst she is in a trance, Jason manipulates her Guilt Complex to make her take "responsibility" for his desires by claiming they've only gotten this bad because of she neglected to raise him properly. This leads to her quickly surrendering control of the household over to him. However, Jason himself admits he doesn't actually blame her at all for his perversities and is only playing off her guilt to strengthen his control over her.
- Brains and Bondage: Noelle is an accomplished businesswoman but her outfits and dialogue evoke BDSM scenarios and D/s roleplay with her in the submissive role.
- Control Freak: Subverted. Everyone thinks that she wants to have control all the time due to how much work she does and her authoritative way of handling her children. However, she doesn't care if she's in control just so long as someone is. She happily admits that the idea of being able to trust someone else to make all the decisions for her is the only way for her to relax at all these days.
- Covert Pervert: Noelle may have the personality of a prim and proper businesswoman but (as Jason notes) the otherwise professional suits she wears to work show off a suspicious amount of skin.
- Didn't Think This Through: Her plan to offer up herself to satisfy Jason's needs so he will leave her daughters alone was a creative, daring and risky short-term solution. But in the long-run, given Jason's nature she should've realised that it was never going to be enough. All her plan really does is make her more vulnerable to Jason's brainwashing and make her addicted to him, causing her to relinquish control faster than she would have otherwise.
- Disc-One Final Boss: Feels like one for both Jason and the player. The thought of controlling Noelle scares Jason the most and he leaves her until last on Day 1 to ensure that his techniques worked on the others first. Her Day 1 event can be easy to miss if you make the wrong dialogue choices and if you mess up on Day 2 it will lead to Noelle's Bad Ending. However, once Day 2 has been passed, Jason feels pretty confident that Noelle will in fact be fairly easy to control from now on and with the most daunting member of his family under his thumb it should be smooth sailing from here on out. Then Kira decides that she should be in charge instead.
- Fetish: Noelle greatly enjoys being the submissive in Dom/Sub roleplay and all the ropes and handcuffs in her scenes and outfits imply an interest in BDSM too.
- Guilt Complex: Due to how busy she always is at work and not always being able to make as much time for her children as she'd like, she has become worried that she has been a neglectful mother. She fears this is why Jason turned out so perverted and he can use this guilt to make her take "responsibility" for those perversities.
- Happiness in Slavery: Noelle is the quickest to accept this idea due to being naturally submissive. By the end of Day 3, she has relinquished full control of the house to Jason.

- Lady in a Power Suit: Her Day 1 outfit, although it is a lot more suggestive and revealing than most examples due to Noelle also being a Covert Pervert.
- Mama Bear: A rare Aversion. She tries to be this and her fiercely overprotective nature for her daughters leads to her mistreatment of Jason. However, Jason can force her to accept that she has failed to live up to this trope and admit that she'd let Jason do what he wants to Jane, Kira and Sarah so long as she gets to indulge in her own fantasies.
- Powerful People Are Subs: An authoritarian business manager who is very in touch with and accepting of her submissive side.
- Pushover Parent: Is brainwashed into becoming one, essentially giving into her submission kink and surrendering all control of the household over to Jason.
- Senseless Sacrifice: When she finds out Jason's sexual frustrations are only getting stronger she offers up herself to satsify his needs on the condition that he leaves his stepsisters alone. Jason later points out this was a bad plan since he'll never be satisfied until he has all of them and all Noelle managed to do was fall under Jason's control faster than she would've otherwise.
- So Proud of You: In the Golden Ending, she feels this way towards Jason although that is probably due to her Skewed Priorities making her think that becoming a commanding hypnotist with a harem is something worthy of praise.
- Struggling Single Mother: After Jason's father left, Noelle has raised her four children alone whilst holding down an important position in a large corporation, which has lead to a lot of stress and her often not making the right decisions when it comes to raising her family.
- Wicked Stepmother: Deconstructed. Noelle forces Jason to do her daughter's chores if they're unwell or overworked, makes him sleep in the attic, has little time for his interests and defends her daughters' verbal (Kira), emotional (Sarah), and physical (Jane) abuse of him. However, Noelle does all this to defend her daughters as best she can whilst contending with her busy job. She is so hard on Jason because his perverted behaviour is something she can't control and believes the best course of action is to keep him occupied and punish him until he learns to repress his urges because that method had already worked on Jane in the past. It's also apparent that on some level Noelle is aware that her treatment of Jason is unfair and she feels immense guilt over her belief that her childrens' issues have been caused by her neglecting her duties as a mother due to her demanding job, something that Jason can manipulate to his advantage when she's in a trance.
- Workaholic: Not to the extent that Kira is but it is implied that if there wasn't a blizzard outside, she would've barely been at home.

- All Take and No Give: Whilst Sarah may desire company to avoid boredom and loneliness, she is quick to exploit any attention she does get for selfish purposes. However, she is brainwashed out of this bad habit as Jason programs her to feel pleasure when she makes other people happy. This works to Sarah's advantage because it encourages other people to spend more time with her now that she's more accommodating and less manipulative.
- It Amused Me: In her Bad Ending, it's understandable that she hypnotizes and enslaves Jason as revenge for his attempt to brainwash her. But she also brainwashes Noelle, Jane and Kira into being scantily clad pets who run around on hands and knees, barking like dogs, and serving her every whim purely because she could and she thought it'd be funny.
- Annoying Younger Sibling: Jason and Kira certainly view her as this, seeing her as a manipulative temptress and a brat that only wants attention.
- Attention Whore: Sarah enjoys flaunting her body and good looks, going on lots of dates with various boys at school, and tends to bother her siblings at home so they'll spend time with her. However, this all stems from the loneliness she experiences when she's alone.
- The Baby of the Bunch: Despite physically and legally being a fully-grown woman, she is the youngest in her family and still acts very immature at times. It's also notable that whilst Noelle is protective of all of her daughters, she is most protective of Sarah.
- Big Brother Worship: An odd case given how Sarah teases and manipulates Jason. Sarah is The Tease to Jason because she used to idolize him so much when they were younger. When he hit puberty and became distracted by Jane, Noelle and Kira she started teasing him so he'd spend more time with her again.
- Book Dumb: Downplayed. Sarah's actual academic skill isn't known, but she clearly dislikes schoolwork, often getting Jason to do her homework for her.
- Brilliant, but Lazy: As Kira points out, Sarah has the family talent for overachieving and if she put her mind to it could probably excel in any field of her choosing. But, Sarah would much rather use her talents to manipulate other people to do her work for her instead.
- The Empath: Downplayed. Part of her brainwashing involves making her feel pleasure when she makes other people feel pleasure. She interprets this as literally feeling the emotions of the people around her. She is initially delighted with this as it allows her to feel closer to people than she ever did before and cure her crippling loneliness but it also causes her to feel the worst when everyone starts arguing over what to do with the delimiter on Day 5. She is clearly more annoyed everyone is angry with each other than she is that they've been brainwashed.
- Femme Fatale: Sarah's Establishing Character Moment shows her using her sex appeal to manipulate Jason into doing her chores and homework. She does this frequently and Jason knows that she is only teasing him but is so pent up that he always ends up going along with it anyway.
- Fetish: Sarah develops a strong desire for pet play, making herself and others behave like dogs.
