The Princess
The daughter of the King and Queen of Arturus, who was kidnapped during an attack on the castle by space invaders. She had a keen interest in space, and was a member of Mordred's Secret Order. It's revealed that she was trying to communicate with Mordred from his whereabouts in space, and was kidnapped after she sent him a signal from her tower. She is revealed to be trapped in a green prison in Mordred/Binary Bard's fortress. Once you defeat Binary Bard, she is released from the prison and saves the Orb by punching out the Binary Bard so you two can escape.
- And Now You Must Marry Me: According to her, the Binary Bard kidnapped her for the purpose of making her his bride.
- Brainy Brunette: She appears to have been quite intelligent and studious, if her star charts and many papers in her room are any indication.
- Damsel in Distress: She's already taken away by space invaders by the time the island starts, and spends most of the quest being held hostage by the Binary Bard. Once Binary Bard is defeated, she helps the hero by saving the Orb and punching out Binary Bard so both can escape.
- Everyone Calls Him "Barkeep": Her real name is never given—she's just called "the princess".
- Pretty Princess Powerhouse: At the end, when you defeat Mordred and the Orb drops out, he comes out to claim it, but the beautiful princess jumps down with her pink dress and decks him. The punch is enough to knock him out and give you two the chance to escape with the Orb.
- Princesses Prefer Pink: Played with. Her outfit isn't pink and is instead green with gold trimmings, but her bedroom is completely decked out in pink.
The Three Knights
Three knights who were sent to rescue the princess after she was abducted, but never returned. Each of them is on one of three planets (Jungle, Fire, and Ice). Their names are Sir Cador, Sir Pelleas, and Sir Gawain.
- Shout-Out: Sir Gawain's and Sir Pelleas's names are references to Arthurian Legend.
Mordred/Binary Bard
An inventor who was famous for making many creations that improved the kingdom, but was imprisoned when he started going too far. He broke out of prison by escaping in a spacecraft he made himself and hasn't been heard from since. He's actually still alive and now resides in his own realm out in space, and was the one behind the Princess's kidnapping. To survive, he added metal parts to himself and now calls himself the Binary Bard.
- A Boy and His X: In Mordred's backstory, it was him and his half-owl half-machine creation Merlin.
- And I Must Scream: At the end of the Astro-Knights Island quest, when the Orb is taken from him, he's left trapped in his own realm with no way to escape.
- Ambiguous Situation: Because he swims out before Super Villain Island’s final battle, it’s not known if he managed to escape and is now living a harmless life because his totem is destroyed, or if the Erewhon officials incarcerated him and the other three again.
- Big Bad: Of Astro-Knights Island.
- Color Contrast: His main colors are lavender and mustard yellow.
- Face–Heel Turn: In his backstory.
- Final Boss
- Fluffy the Terrible: One of the worst villains in Poptropica history... the Binary Bard. For someone who aims to be "Master of the Universe", he decided to rebrand himself into a half-robot jester.
- Monster Clown: Well.... jester technichally, but still, he dresses like a clown and he's the arc villain of Astro-Knights Island.
- Red Eyes, Take Warning: As the Binary Bard, one of his eyes is red.
- Shout-Out: His goal is to become the Master of the Universe in this medieval/sci-fi hybrid setting. Also, he's named after Arthurian Legend' most iconic villain.
- Take Over the World: His goal is to become the Master of the Universe.
- That One Boss:
- Walking Spoiler
Black Widow
The Big Bad of the island, who is behind the theft of numerous paintings and artwork. She's the woman you see at the entrance of the museum and talk to at the police station.
- Ambiguous Situation: Because she quickly escapes before the finale, it's not known if the police caught her and the other three villains and took them back to Erewhon or she's now currently living a guileless life now that her totem is destroyed.
- Animal Motifs: Her design is clearly based off of the black widow spider.
- Big Bad: Of Counterfeit Island.
- Dark Action Girl
- Evil All Along
- Evil Costume Switch: When pretending to be a Reasonable Authority Figure, she has neatly styled black hair and wears a suit. After she shows her true colors as the Black Widow, her hair is in untidy spikes and she wears an entirely black outfit with a red hourglass shape.

Zeus
Yes, THAT Zeus. In Poptropica's Mythology Island, he quests you to retrieve five sacred items to bring to him, after you pick a golden apple, promising you immortality in return. However, like in plenty of his appearances in media, he's a Jerkass God. He steals the five sacred items from you without the immortality in return, and you have to fight him to stop him from taking over all of Poptropica.
- Annoying Younger Sibling: The youngest of the brothers according to the original myths, and he vandalizes his brothers' temples out of jealousy.
- Adaptational Villainy: Zeus may have been a Jerkass God in the original myths, but he had a good side to him and he never went as far as to try to takeover his brothers' domains.
- Archnemesis Dad: To Athena.
- Beard of Evil: It somewhat resembles a cloud.
- Blow You Away: One of his attacks during the final battle against him.
- Cain and Abel: The Cain to his brothers' Abel.Zeus: (to the player character before his boss fight) Now you and my treacherous brothers will suffer my wrath!
- Classical Mythology
- Chromatic Arrangement: The red to Hades's green and Poseidon's blue.
- Cool Crown: That lightning bolt crown.
- The Cake Is a Lie: Zeus promises you immortality if you just give him the five sacred items. However, he breaks this promise and leaves you mortal while he goes off to try and take over Poptropica with the sacred items.
- Dramatic Thunder: Well, since he's Zeus, this trope is inevitable. He invokes this twice when he arrives and leaves throughout the course of the island- one is after you picked the golden apple and he comes to you with a thunderstorm right above him. And the second time when he appears as lightning strikes the ground when he goes to steal the sacred items from you.
- Everybody Loves Zeus: He promises the player character immortality if they complete the required tasks. But he breaks that promise and uses the sacred items to take over Poptropica.
- Evil All Along
- Grandpa God: His white hair and beard give him the look of one of these.
- Harmless Villain: He can be one of the contestants on Reality TV: Wild Safari but plays along like everyone else.
- Hollywood Genetics: He and his brothers look nothing alike, from different skin colors to different hair colors to different facial structures if their mouth shapes are anything to go off of.
- Jerkass God
- Obviously Evil: Between his own actions and what the other gods have to say about him, it's pretty clear early on that he's up to no good when he gives you the quest.
- Person of Mass Destruction: Shown on the news to have destroyed multiple islands, his own among them, after obtaining the 4 Villain Totems. The islands get better.
- Inferred Holocaust: It's never explained what happened to the citizens.
- Red Is Violent: His clothing is red with the exception of his gold/yellow accessories. See above for the violent part.
- Shock and Awe: He's ZEUS. What do you expect?
- Strong Family Resemblance: The titans look near identical to him, and if we're going off the original mythology, those are his parents.
- Take Over the World: His ultimate goal.
- Unexplained Recovery: It's never explained how he escaped Erewhon for Reality TV: Wild Safari and Greek Sea Odyssey.
- Walking Spoiler

- Looks Like Cesare: His hair is shown to be quite messy without his crown.

- Skeleton Motif
- The Stoic: His statue describes him as "deadly serious," and he seems to smile the least out of his brothers.
- Not So Stoic: A portrait in his throne room shows him with a surprisingly large smile resembling that of the crocodile he appears to be petting.
Poseidon

- Adaptational Heroism: Poseidon in the original myths was arguably as bad as Zeus if not worse. Here he actively assists the player and doesn't antagonize anyone.

- Grin of Audacity: The fresco of the titanomachy in the museum portrays him with one of these when he and his brothers defeat the titans.
- Hollywood Genetics: He and his brothers look nothing alike, from different skin colors to different hair colors to different facial structures if their mouth shapes are anything to go off of.
- Prongs of Poseidon: His signature weapon, that he gives to the player for the final battle against Zeus. He does this again on Super Villan Island.
- Seahorse Steed: The statue of him on the beach and a mural in his temple depict him riding a seahorse.
- Sizeshifter: Implied, and justified since he is a god. He's roughly twice the size of the player (as are all of the other gods) in Mythology Island but the same size as the player in Super Villan Island.
- Strong Family Resemblance: His son Triton has the exact same color scheme as him.
- Walking Shirtless Scene: Not for any real fanservice, likely due to the artstyle of the game, but the only thing he wears on his upper half is a necklace with a starfish pendant. Likely justified due to his domain.
