Main Crew
- "I am Danger Dolan, and I am here to blow your mind with truth."
The main character: a white humanoid thing with a blue hat who allegedly comes from Australia. He is very goofy, nearly always saying the fake answers in the Super Planet Dolan videos and complaining when he has to say the true answers.
- Accessory-Wearing Cartoon Animal: Wears only a hat.
- Alliterative Name: Danger Dolan.
- Catchphrase:
- He says, "Anyway, that's it, thanks for watching, and have a good one!" at the end of a video.
- He says, "I'm Danger Dolan and I'm here to blow your mind with truth!" to introduce himself.
- He says, "I'm Danger Dolan and today I'll be your narrrator!" to introduce himself in the True Story videos.
- Cartoon Creature: We don't know what he is, and his biology even seems to change— for example, in one video he's made of marshmallow and in another, he has bones.
- Cloudcuckoolander: In both the answers he makes up and the things he does, it's apparent that he's extremely eccentric.
- Deadpan Snarker: Becomes snide whenever he has to say the real answers.
- The Ditz: Zigzagged. There have been speculations that he has no brain or his brain is small and he does sometimes make stupid choices, but it's hard to tell if he's really stupid or just eccentric.
- Innocently Insensitive: Sometimes, due to not knowing the real answer when it's quite serious, he will accidentally come off as insensitive (for example, when he thinks a cancer is really a dancer who can do the can-can and does a goofy dance).
- Keet: He's very active and enthusiastic.
- Large Ham: Tends to exaggerate what he says and does.
- Made of Iron: He survives all kinds of injuries.
- Rip Van Winkle: When he and the rest of the crew decide to sleep through Covid, Dolan ends up oversleeping for two years, leaving him and Darlink for a while as the only members doing questions.
- Sibling Rivalry: He and Zaraganba argue a lot.
- Signature Headgear: Sports a blue cap, reminiscent of Donald Duck.
- Suddenly Shouting: On some occasions.
- Sick Episode: Zigzagged. In one video, he is sneezing and claims first to be fine, then to have a cold, then to have caught a disease from the Martians, then a cold again...
A pink cat and one of the more sensible members of the group. She is quite genial, but sometimes gets frustrated at her partner. Her actress left the show, which leads to users talking in the comment section about her going away. Despite this, the character still exists as a background character.
- Amazing Technicolor Wildlife: A pink cat.
- Cat Folk: Downplayed. She may have humanlike limbs and breasts, but she still has a very catlike face and sometimes does cat things.
- Furry Reminder: She sometimes does something catlike, like catching birds.
- Hartman Hips: A consistent Running Gag. Exploited to the point that one video has her twerking, while another has Dolan claim her hips are the biggest object in the universe.
- Hates Baths: She once hisses at the prospect of taking a bath.
- Not So Above It All: While generally one of the more sensible characters, she'll sometimes do something like a goofy cat.
- Race-Name Basis: When Dolan is annoyed with her, he calls her "Cat".
- The Bus Came Back: She finally returned to the cast in late 2023.
A goofy, shapeshifting, anime-loving alien with crushes on all the women.
- Amusing Alien: He's one of the more comical characters and is an alien.
- Edible Theme Naming: He's named after pringles.
- Exposed Extraterrestrials: Downplayed; he wears only a hat.
- Keet: Even more so than Dolan.
- Large Ham: Sometimes hams things up, for example pretending to be unconscious when Melissa admits to having never watched anime.
- New Powers as the Plot Demands: Usually for the sake of jokes, he’s demonstrated shapeshifting, duplication, regenerative healing, and the ability to create popcorn from his ears, though his shapeshifting is the most consistent.
- Self-Deprecation: He once identifies as a "weeb", which is a derogatory slang for a fan of Japanese culture.
- Signature Headgear: Wears a rainbow coloured, propeller beanie.
- Voluntary Shapeshifting: He can change his form, although he finds it tiring to do it too quickly. However, he recovers from said tiredness pretty quickly.
One of the more sensible characters; a purple bird (who apparently is so because of a strange disease) who is very active and also has a crush on Nixxiom. She's more likely to physically push someone out of the way than Shima, but is by no means a violent sort.
- Alliterative Name: Melissa Morgan.
- Bad Liar: When she tries to think of the fake answers in one video, she struggles to think of anything and blushes a lot.
- Beneficial Disease: The disease that turned her into a bird enables her to fly.
- The Fashionista: Downplayed. She sometimes talks about clothes, but not to the extent of Doopie.
- Flight: She can fly thanks to being a bird.
- Fully-Dressed Cartoon Animal: She wears shoes and either a dress or a crop top and pants.
- Furry Reminder: Is seen flying and eating breadcrumbs.
- Lovable Jock: She likes sports and is one of the nicer characters.
- Non-Mammal Mammaries: Has breasts despite being a bird. Justified because she used to be human. She also claims that she has them to stay buoyant in case she's in a body of water.
- Not So Above It All: Occasionally she will have a goofy moment, usually focusing on the fact that she's a bird or her crush on Nixxiom.
A cheerful young human woman. She usually says the real answers, but is goofier than Shima and Melissa.
- Alliterative Name: Doopie Do Over
- Animesque: Her avatar looks like an anime character.
- Beware the Nice Ones: She can be mean on some occasions.
- The Fashionista: She often criticizes other people's clothes or brags about her own.
- Genki Girl: Very perky and upbeat.
- Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: Is blonde and one of the friendlier characters.
A loud, obnoxious demon who smokes a lot.
- Ambiguously Evil: He's certainly mean, but whether he's actually evil is left up in the air.
- Deadpan Snarker: Is one of the snidest characters.
- Edgy Backwards Chair-Sitting: He's one of the dark, edgy characters and in "What Would Happen if There was No Air for Five Seconds?", he sits backwards in a chair.
- Jerkass: Is very mean to the viewers and the other characters.
- A Lizard Named "Liz": Has "hell" in his name and is a demon.
- No Indoor Voice: Shouts a lot.
- Large Ham: As mentioned in Suddenly Shouting, though, when he gets loud, he ramps it up.
- Sir Swears-a-Lot: He swears the most out of all the characters.
- Suddenly Shouting: His main form of humour.
- Vitriolic Best Buds: Is best friends with Nixxiom despite them arguing a lot.
- Would Hit a Girl: He beats up Ladybot in one video and flushes Gooby down the toilet in another.
An arrogant zombie elf. Most of the answers he makes up are either much darker than the standard made-up answers, egocentric, or both.
- Ambiguously Evil: Considering he kills people and then brings them back to life, his morality is pretty hard to determine.
- Achievements in Ignorance: Downplayed. In one video, he hurridly eats ice-cream and Doopie asks him how he didn't get brain freeze. His response to this is "Brain... what?"
- Can't Argue with Elves: Parodied. He claims that he, and sometimes elves in general, are better than everyone else, but he just has a huge ego.
- Characterization Marches On: Nixxiom used to be an intimidating being with a Voice of the Legion and... not much else. After a while, Nixxiom became an arrogant Fish out of Temporal Water.
- Nature Lover: Zigzagged. In one video, he claims that he likes plants so much that he never eats plants, only meat, so it's unknown if this makes him a nature lover or the opposite of one. Also, he was probably making that up as he's seen eating plants in other videos, leaving the whole thing a mystery.
- The Sleepless: Zigzagged. In one video, he claims he doesn't sleep but occasionally needs to recharge by sitting in the fridge. In another video, he claims he does indeed sleep. The actual truth is unknown.
- The Undead: He's a zombie elf.
- Vague Age: Claims to be old enough to have caused a bunch of ancient events to have happened. Both zombies and elves are known to live for a very long time, so he could be very old, but he didn't really cause those events. He is also seen as a kid at the same time as the other characters, but it could be that his species ages slowly, so no one knows how old he is.
- Vitriolic Best Buds: He and Hellbent fight a lot but also seem to be best friends.
- Would Hit a Girl: He once kills Gooby (but then brings her back to life).
Dolan's older brother, who is more sensible than him.
- Cartoon Creature: The same mysterious species as Dolan.
- Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling: In one of the Reddit videos, he played the responsible sibling, continuing to work during their shift, while Dolan just played games on his phone.
- Sibling Rivalry: He and Dolan argue a lot.
A Pale-white lady who wears a yellow dress, introduced in season 2 as the one taking care of Dolan after awakening from cryosleep.
- Hidden Agenda Hero: Despite being a typical nice Dolan host, she also has shades of sinister and selfishness behind her persona.
- Putting the Band Back Together: She ends up helping Dolan locate the other members of the old crew.
- Red Eyes, Take Warning: Can seemingly turn them this trope on-and-off at will.
- Straight Man: She’s this to Dolan’s regular antics.

A marshmallow genie.
- Ambiguous Gender: Emojie could be considered genderfluid, due to changing genders depending on the video in question.
A purple demonic humanoid who was Hellbent's girlfriend.
- Those Two Guys: Her and Hellbent were shown together in the same videos.
