    Riko Yurei
  • Anti-Hero: He is not on board with doing what's right for the city and its people, he just wants to stay out of everyones way and commit suicide. Word of God confirmed that a lot of his heroics is because he wanted to be killed by the chapter/episodes villain, but wants to die a hero by saving an innocent victims life.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: He may be a sweet and shy man, but harm any innocent bystander or his girlfriend, he'll grab any weapon and he WILL fight back.
  • Cowardly Lion: He does show signs of fear and paranoia throughout the series, but when a child, animal or bystander is in danger, he'll grow guts and save them.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: He wears dark clothes and has an intimidating appearance, but he's actually the protagonist.
  • The Dragon: To Hera, considering her other minions just come and go. While Riko isn't evil at all, he's Hera's closest and most trusted ally.
  • Everyone Has Standards: As much as he's terrified of Hera, whenever she is in need of saving, Riko doesn't abandon her, instead he'll risk his life to save her from villains.
  • The Grim Reaper: He is designed to resemble such. He wears black, wears a hood, has a skeletal appearance and whenever he meets will die eventually.
  • Heroic Mime: Aside from a few noises such as grunts or moans, he dosen't really talk amd he's the hero of the story.
  • Interspecies Romance: With Hera, who isn't really a human.
  • Not Evil, Just Misunderstood: People around town see him as a pedophile and rapist. But it turns out he's a nice and lonely guy who was falsely accused of being so.
  • Pink Girl, Blue Boy: The blue boy to Hera's pink girl.
  • The Quiet One: Riko hardly speaks or never speaks at all.
  • Sanity Slippage: According to Word of God Riko is repressing hid insanity under his sadness for who knows how long. Thanks to Hera, he is able to finally release it.
  • The Unintelligible: He only speaks in mumbled words,

  • Yandere Couple:With Hera (which happens way later on)

    Hera "Evol" Lilith

  • Affably Evil: She's very friendly and polite not just to Riko but other people as well.
  • Ambiguously Human: There is something off about her. She hardly shows empathy whenever she punishes people, has a crazy obsession with fire, has superhuman strength, she can run without tiring herself out not to mention outrunning a train. She even has demonic henchmen and has access to evil magic. But most disturbing of all, she makes very terrifying faces throughout the series. Plus, she is the only character to have fangs instead of human teeth.
  • Anti-Hero: Hera may be on Riko's side but even she has a lot of questionable moments such as threatening people with violence, enjoying licking blood and burning things. She even uses horrifying methods to punush people.
  • Anti-Villain: Hera may be the main antagonist of the series as well as having the most body count, her victims are all criminals who had it coming. She even uses her evil magic to save the lives of children amd animals.
  • Ax-Crazy: Subverted, it looks like she's this. But there's more to her than just an ax crazy yandere.
  • Big Bad Friend: While her plans on wiping out the Mafia out of revenge is sort of a good thing but she has an ulterior motive behind this. She plans on marrying Riko, force feed him the potion to make him immortal so when the end of the world comes, only him and herself will be the only humans left and they'll bring a new generation. She'll use violent methods to make it happen.
  • The Chessmaster: She is revealed to be this in chapter 6. She let the soldiers capture her and Riko on purpose so she can get them off her back as well as teach the government a pricy lesson for their hypocrisy. With the government losing their finest soldiers, no one will ever rise against Hera and she can now carry out her plan.
  • Dissonant Serenity: She burns people alive while having the cutest smile on her face.
  • The Dreaded: The Mafia knows too well what Hera is capable of, they spend a majority near the end avoiding her rather than confronting her. Riko, Floyd and even Renee are terrified of her.
  • Dude Magnet: So many guys are crazy about her, but rejects them all because she devoted herself to Riko.
  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: Despite being a sadistic pyromaniac, she genuinely loves Riko no matter what. Every time he gets hurt, sick or depressed, she shows remorse and will comfort him.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: She may be a pyromaniac who has a crazy obssession with fire and Riko, she is very disgusted with pedophilea and animal abuse. Mainly because she has a soft spot for children and an animal lover. She will be just as protective of children and animals as if she would be with Riko.
  • Friend to All Living Things: This is one of her redeeming qualities. She loves animals. Seeing them in danger would trigger Hera to being just as protective of them as she is with children and Riko.
  • Interspecies Romance: With Riko.
  • Mama Bear: One of her redeeming qualities. She has a soft spot for children and will protect them as much as she protects Riko.
  • Ms. Fanservice: She's a very attractive woman. She wears tight jumpsuit that flaunts her body. In a Beach Episode, she wears a skimpy bikini. She gets a handful of nude scenes including a Shower Scene.
  • Older Than They Look: She looks, sounds and behaves like a teenager, but she's actually an adult in her early twenties.
  • The Ophelia: She has the habit of doing terrible things while sounding somewhat adorable. Such as singing her own disturbing versions of songs while burning the remains of her human victims.
  • Pink Girl, Blue Boy: The pink girl to Riko's blue boy.
  • Playing with Fire: A lot of her curses involve fire, due to being a Pyromaniac this makes sense.
  • Pyromaniac: She has a disturbing obsession with fire based attacks.
  • Stripperific: She wears a lot of tight fitting or revealing outfits that highlight her figure.
  • Yandere: She really is obssessed with Riko that its hard to tell if her feelings are true love or lustful. But regardless, she'll do anything to protect him. Such as making someone shoot themselves, blowing them up, hanging them and of course, setting them on fire. What distinguishes her from other yanderes however is that she also has a predatory side of her. If she dosen't eat human meat in 24 hours, she'll give in to her predatory instincts and will go on a rampage. Which is due to being corrupted by black magic.
  • Yandere Couple: With Riko (although this happens way later in the story)

    Floyd Vice
  • Ambiguously Brown: He has tan skin but his nationality is never revealed.
  • Cool Shades: He wears them and he's cool indeed.
  • Foil: To Riko. Both are lovesick men who yearn for love. Their differences though is that Riko respects women and despises seeing them naked while Floyd disrespects women and will go out of his way to see them naked. In terms of their courage, Riko does run from fights but will grow a pair and will fight to do what's right while Floyd acts like he'll fight but will leave the heroes as well as the innocent victim for dead just to save himself.
  • The Load: He constantly does absolutely NOTHING to help the main couple out, he only joins them just because he wants to get some action.
  • Plucky Comic Relief: He exists to add comedy. Given how sad and scary this series is, his comedy is needed.

     Renee Rosa
  • Big Bad Ensemble: Like Hera and Mr. Tyrann, she's the other antagonist, but like her father and unlike Hera, Renee lacks redeeming qualities.
  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: She may look like an innocent girl at first glance, but she's very manipulative and enjoys the suffering of others.
  • Co-Dragons: With Lars, even though she's more competent than him.
  • Evil Is Petty: She only toys with mens emotions because they're hilarious and wants to ruin Riko's life just for existing. Her grudge against Hera is MORE pitiful, just because the pinked haired beauty is prettier than her.
  • Foil: To Hera. Both are very gorgeous women who have men (and women) go crazy for them, but reject them. The difference is that Hera rejects them in the nicest way without hurting their feelings more, while Renee rejects them in the most humiliating matter and that leaves her suitors depressed. In regards to how they treat Riko is also different. Hera is devoted to Riko and will not do anything to hurt him and will do anything to prevent his suicide while Renee will go out of her way to humilate him as much as possible to the point that she won't care if he kills himself.
  • Hate Sink: Unlike Hera and Floyd who have funny and enjoyable moments, Renee lacks any redeemable or likable qualities. She thinks very lowly of everyone, including her father and brother. Not to mention she's the woman who ruined Riko's life cemented the hatred more.
  • The Heavy: She is the woman who toyed with Riko's emotions and falsely accused him of rape and pedophilea. This is what kicks off the plot.
  • It Amused Me: As mentioned above, all the evil things she does was simply out of boredom and pride.
  • Mafia Princess: She's the daughter of the Crime Lord.
  • Ms. Fanservice: Renee may not be as curvy as Hera, but she's still gorgeous. Her first scene has her revealing her naked shoulder at Riko, then shakes her hips due to being overjoyed and teasing Riko that she's wearing a bikini under her clothes.
  • White Hair, Black Heart: She has pale blonde hair, but her heart is a black as the depths of Hell itself.

     Mr. Tyrann

     Lars
  • Co-Dragons- With Renee, although he's not as competent as her.
  • Faux Affably Evil: He pretends to be a softspoken gentleman but its easy to see through his act.
  • Four Eyes, Zero Soul: He wears glasses and he's just as bad as his boss.
  • Lack of Empathy: He's introduced by giving his boss a report of him drowning someone while having a sinister grin on his face. He even enjoyed people beating Riko up.
  • Lean and Mean: He's a skinny guy but he's a criminal like his boss.
  • Yes-Man- Serves as this to Mr.Tyrann.

  • Evil Is Bigger: He dwarfs everyone. He rivals Mr.Tyrann as the tallest of the cast.
  • Knight of Cerebus: Even though the villains before are just as evil as he is, they can't compete with this clowns criminal background, as he kidnapped and murdered children, he even gives Riko a brutal beating amd is the first villain to give Hera a challenge.
  • Lack of Empathy: He shows zero remorse for murdering innocent children.
  • Monster Clown: Zig-zigged. He is a human wearing a costume and make up, but is a monster in the inside.

     The General
  • Asshole Victim: Is responsible for the death of a lot of people who were captured in a lab he funded and attempts to murder Riko and Hera. He becomes one of Hera’s victims to die by her curse.
  • Beard of Evil: He’s got a beard and is the villain of the sixth chapter.
  • Dirty Coward: Acts patriotic whenever he has his men backing him up, but once his men all die at Hera’s hands, he would rather run away than fight Hera directly.
  • The Man Behind the Man: He’s the one responsible for funding the lab that captured Hera and cause of death of tons of people who were captured with her.
  • No Name Given: He’s just the General.
