Teemo

Voiced By: Melissa Hutchison
1-Mana | 1/1 | Elusive | Yordle | Dual-Piltover & Zaun Champ

"Another day in the field!"

"Bandle Scout Rule 154: Never fear the unknown! Rule 276: Denizens of the woodlands are our friends! Rule 354: If it's fuzzy, it might be safe to pet but certainly isn't safe to eat! Rule 417..."

Captain of the adventurous Bandle Scouts, Teemo charts expeditions all across Runeterra, taking pride in upholding the scouts' code and inspiring his fellow yordles. His cheerfulness and dedication to his travels are unwavering, yet this also belies a immense capacity for destruction.

Teemo is a dual Piltover & Zaun and Bandle City (formerly mono-Piltover & Zaun) Champion with a Nexus Strike ability that places 5 Poison Puffcaps (a Trap that when drawn deals 1 damage to the drawing player's Nexus) on random cards in the enemy's deck. When 15 Puffcaps have been placed in their deck he levels up, gaining +1/+1 and changing his Nexus Strike to instead double the number of Puffcaps in the enemy deck. His signature spell is Teemo's Mushroom Cloud.

Heimerdinger

Voiced By: Jason Palmer

5-mana | 2/4 | Yordle | Dual-Piltover & Zaun Champ

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/heimerdinger1.jpg
"Ah, the sweet smell of science!"

Click to see his Leveled Up card

"Mad scientist? Pft! I'm clearly a very-stable-if-slightly-disorganized-and-eclectic scientist, thank you very much!"

A brilliant yordle scientist, Heimerdinger has found residence in the city of progress itself, Piltover. His eccentricities and absent-mindedness bely an incredible intellect and curiosity that's earned him a good repute among the many great minds of the city.

Heimerdinger generates a Turret follower in your hand whenever you cast any spell, each of which has Power equal to the mana cost of the spell that created it, and 1 Health and a different keyword, except for spells costing 8 or more which generate an 8/8 T-Hex. The Turrets are Fleeting when created, but cost 0 mana on the turn they're created (although if sent back to your hand they aren't Fleeting and regain their usual cost). When Heimerdinger sees 12 or more Power worth of his Turrets played he levels up, gaining +1/+1 and granting all further Turrets he creates +1/+1. His signature spell is Heimerdinger's Progress Day.

Fizz

Voiced By: Philece Sampler
1-mana | 2/1 | Yordle | Dual-Bilgewater Champ

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fizz1new.png
"Oh-ho boy, here I go!"

Click to see his Leveled Up card

Of all Bilgewater's legendary figures, Fizz is the most mercurial. Some sailors curse him for the countless brutal wrecks littering the coast...

A rare aquatic yordle living in the seas around Bilgewater, Fizz is a playful trickster at heart, and loves to confound the inhabitants of his new home. Many find him a mere nuisance, while others have incurred the wrath of his command over creatures of the deep.

Fizz gains Elusive whenever his controller casts a spell, which also cancels all enemy spells or skills targeting Fizz. When his controller has cast 6 or more skills in a game he levels up, gaining +1/+1 and creating a copy of Chum the Waters (a 4-mana Slow spell which gives an enemy unit Vulnerable and summons Longtooth, a 5/2 Follower with Overwhelm) in his controller's hand whenever he strikes the Nexus. His signature spell is Fizz's Playful Trickster.

Lulu

Voiced By: Faye Mata
3-mana | 3/3 | Yordle | Dual-Ionia Champion

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/lulu1.png
"There's nothing a good giggle can't fix."

Click to see her Leveled Up card

"Don't you worry, Pix! We're gonna get outta the Glade, and we're gonna adoribus ALL THE THINGS! Are you ready?!"

Lulu's Support ability sets her supported ally's stats to 4/4 until end of round. After you've supported 3 or more allies in a game she levels up, gaining +1/+1, making her Support ability boost allies to 5/5 instead, and she passively generates a "Help, Pix!" card at the start of every round, a 1-mana Fleeting Burst speed spell which can either grant an ally Barrier or an enemy Vulnerable for the round and cannot be cast as a reaction or in combat. Her signature spell is Lulu's Whimsy. Pix! also appears in the game as a separate 1-mana 0/2 Ionia Follower with a Support ability that gives his supported ally +2/+1 for that round.

Tristana

Voiced By: Amber Conner
3-mana | 1/3 | Quick Attack | Yordle

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tristana1.png
"Alright, furballs - attention!"

Click to see her Leveled Up card

"Okay, Plan A: We blast our way in and start shooting. If that doesn't work, we go to Plan B: Blast our way out and keep shooting. Then, we'll regroup and go to Plan C, which is basically Plan A again..."

Tristana passively has +1/0 for every multi-region ally you've summoned during the game and gives multi-region allies +1/0 when they're summoned. When you've summoned 4 or more multi-region allies during the game she levels up, gaining +1/+1 and giving newly summoned multi-region allies 1 stack of Impact as well, and also gaining a stack of Impact herself. Her signature spell is Tristana's Buster Shot.

Poppy

Voiced By: Kate Higgins
4-mana | 4/3 | Yordle | Dual-Demacia Champion

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/poppy1.png
"I just know the Hero's around here somewhere!"

Click to see his Leveled Up card

Humility is a mark of heroism, but many historians would agree that Poppy is kind of pushing it.

Having been present during the founding of Demacia, Poppy was entrusted by the city's founder a legendary hammer, being told that it belongs in the hands of a fabled hero. The humble yordle has been on the lookout for the hero ever since, not considering they might be closer than she thinks...

Poppy grants herself and all allies with equal or less Power than her +1/+1 whenever she attacks. When she has attacked alongside allied units 3 times she levels up, gaining +1/+1 and Impact, and granting herself and equal or lesser Power allies +2/+2 and 1 stack of Impact when she attacks instead. Her signature spell is Poppy's Keeper's Verdict.

Veigar

Voiced By: Scott McNeil
4-mana | 1/4 | Yordle | Dual-Shadow Isles Champion

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/veigar1.png
"I am Lord Veigar, destroyer of WORLDS!!!"

Click to see his Leveled Up card

"This world will fear me. It will wear my scars for all eternity. It will ache under the weight of my power. It will shudder under the shadow of my enormity!"
- Excerpt from Ch. 1 of "How to be a Supervillain", by Lord Veigar

Driven mad by the evil Mordekaiser, Veigar in a desire for power and authority seeks to become the greatest evil that Runeterra has ever seen, building powerful magic and an army of loyal followers. Unfortunately, he's not quite as proficient at the whole bad guy deal as he wants, unwittingly being too good-natured to excel at his dream role.

Veigar creates a Darkness (a 3-mana Shadow Isles Slow spell that deals 2 damage to an enemy unit) in your hand if you don't have one already and passively increases the damage of allied copies of Darkness everywhere by 1 at the start of each round. When you have dealt a total of 12 or more damage with any number of Darkness casts in a game he levels up, becoming "Grand Overseer Veigar", gaining +1/+1, passively generating a Darkness in your hand at the start each round if you don't have one already, and upgrading your Darkness casts to be able to target any unit or Nexus on either side of the field while he remains in play. His signature spell is Veigar's Event Horizon.

Ziggs

Voiced By: Alessandro Juliani
3-mana | 3/4 | Dual-Shurima Champion

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ziggs1.png
"Another day, another explosion!"

Click to see his Leveled Up card

"It's IMPORTANT we make a good impression. The new safety inspector is stopping by, and you know what that means!"
"No more explosions?"
"WHAT?! No! It means explode things where he can't see 'em! 'No more explosions'... are you crazy?!"
- Ziggs and Otto

Ziggs casts Short Fuse whenever he attacks, dealing 1 damage to his blocker and the enemy Nexus. When 4 allied landmarks have been destroyed in a game he levels up, gaining +1/+1, upgrading Short Fuse to deal 2 damage instead, and dealing 2 damage to the enemy Nexus whenever an allied landmark is destroyed. His signature spell is Ziggs' Bouncing Bomb.

Yuumi

Voiced By: Cassandra Lee Morris
3-mana | 2/2 | Attach | Fae | Dual-Targon Champion

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/yuumi1.png
"We're off on a new adventure!"

Click to see her Leveled Up card

Yuumi did have to admit that for all her fussing, she did like Book quite a lot. She liked its smell. She liked its illustrations. She even liked jumping through its portals! ...but nothing was as good as just having Norra back home, safe and sound.

Just your average talking kitty cat, Yuumi's master Norra disappeared one day through one of Bandle City's portals, worrying the cat. With her magical sidekick, and personal handler, Book, she scours Runeterra for her beloved master, meeting all sorts of interesting characters along the way.

Yuumi grants the unit she's Attached to +1/+1 at the start of each round, or grants it to herself if she's not attached. When she or the unit she's Attached to has attacked 3 times she levels up, gaining +1/+1 and Spellshield and also granting herself or the unit she's Attached to Spellshield at the start of each round as well. Her signature spell is Yuumi's Prowling Projectile.

Gnar

4-mana | 3/3 | Quick Attack | Yordle | Dual-Freljord Champion
Mega Gnar: 4-mana | 5/5 | Quick Attack, Overhwelm | Yordle

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/gnar1.png
"Gnar gada!"

Click to see his Leveled Up card (Mega Gnar)

Long ago, Gnar and his kin thrived in the Nakotak Valley. It was an innocent place, untouched by modern trappings. How unfortunate that the passing of time took this place from Gnar. But how fortunate that time doesn't exactly function as expected in Bandle City.

A baby yordle from a bygone era, Gnar found himself frozen when Lissandra sealed away the watchers, and then thawed out centuries later in a brand new Freljord. He now curiously wanders his new surroundings, an oddity among the modern yordles. Be careful not to piss him off though.

When Gnar strikes a unit, he creates Pokey Stick in hand, a 2-mana spell that deals 1 damage to anything then draws a card. He levels up if you damage the enemy nexus by the end of the round, transforming into Mega Gnar, and granting the strongest enemy vulnerable. If his player began the round with the attack token, he'll transform back into regular Gnar at the end of the round.

Worldwalkers

Norra

2-mana| 1/2 | Elusive | Yordle |

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/norrasplash1.png

Click to see her Leveled Up card

Norra's worked quickly, thoughts of home in mind. Portalwork was notoriously tricky business, and she hadn't even had her first cup of tea yet. But Norra loved a good puzzle, especially the type that found her hopelessly lost in pocket dimensions between space and time. She worked faster, thinking fondly of her cat, who would be worried and expecting dinner.

Norra's Nexus Strike ability plants a Mysterious Portal (which summons a random Follower with a 2 or 3 cost) randomly in the top 4 cards of the player's deck. After summoning at least 6 allies, she levels up, gaining +1/+1 and causing her Mysterious Portals to additionally summon Followers costing between 4 to 7. Her signature spell is Norra's Portalpalooza.

Beyond The Bandlewood

    Common

Bandle Commando

2-Mana | 1/2 | Elsuive

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/bandlecommando.png
"Baddies beware, momma's got a gun."

"Gunnin' in the streets and tuckin' kiddos into sheets!"

A fearless gunner with a strong maternal streak. Upon striking the enemy nexus, she creates a Hungry Owlcat in hand.

  • Fragile Speedster: Her weak stats don't really lend well to dealing damage, but Elusive lets her activate her passive reliably.
  • Mama Bear: Her card art shows her protecting a nest of baby owlcats from a big monster. And in general she owns a very tough Team Mom persona.
  • The Minion Master: She can create a constant supply of Hungry Owlcats by hitting the enemy nexus. This creates not only a supply of Cannon Fodder units, but owlcats also proc Multi-region-focused passives like Tristana's.
  • Team Mom: Acts as one to the Bandle Gunners, looking out for her fellow gunners.
Bandle commando: "I got your six, shortcakes!"
Tristana: "Love it big momma, let's bring it home!"

Otterpus

1-Mana | 1/1 | Attune

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/otterpus.png
"Why, hello there little-oh, you are quite slimy."
-Conchologist

"Curious and playful, the otterpus are an immensely cheery bunch. Or is it otterpi? Say, didn't I pack a third sandwich?"
- Conchologist Ecological Entry, Day 7

An aquatic species resembling a mix between otters and octopuses. Otterpuses upon being played create a 1-cost Prank spell in their player's hand. Prank picks two random non-champion cards from the enemy's hand and messes with attributes of the card like cost and stats.

  • Mix-and-Match Critters: A mix of otter and octopus.
  • Portmanteau: Of otter and octopus. Not very subtle about it either.
  • Weak, but Skilled: Their stats are nothing to write home about, even compared to other units their cost, but Prank has the potential of completely disrupting the enemy's game plan by either weakening units or increasing mana costs, requiring the enemy to adapt sudden changes in resources.

Puffcap Pup

2-Mana | 2/2 | Quick Attack

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/puffcappup.png
*Ruff*

"What's that, boy? Two of the recruits were scouting in the woods and stumbled across a scary grass monster, and now they might die a long and painful death? Lead the way!"
Teemo

A young Bandle Scout... who happens to be a puppy. He plants 3 Poison Puffcaps on random cards in the enemy deck upon striking.

  • Badass Adorable: A puppy who makes for an inexplicably adept scout.
  • Lethal Joke Character: Similar to his scoutmaster Teemo, he's an unassumingly designed character with a seemingly gimmicky passive in combat. But building up puffcaps in the enemy deck can become devastating if they're not prepared to counter a ton of nexus damage.
  • Oh, Crap!: In his art, he unwittingly steps on top of an explosive mushroom, freaking out his fellow scouts.
  • Team Pet: As the only non-sapient member of the Bandle Scouts, who's members generally consist of Yordles and other Fae Folk. Though he seems to be doing just fine regardless.

Scholarly Climber

4-Mana | 5/4 | Spellshield | Yordle

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/scholarlyclimber.png
"Wisdom lies that way. Probably."

"Yes, yes, you've told me all about how much she likes tea, socks, you, buttons, and collecting little bits and bobs, but you still haven't told me anything about what she LOOKS like!"

An elderly and eccentric yordle Yuumi meets in her search for Norra.

  • Gemstone Motifs: His body is covered in the same healing crystals found all over Targon, making him appear otherworldly and ancient.
  • Hermit Guru: An old yordle that hangs around Targon. Supposedly he's got wisdom to share, though he doesn't seem to sure about that.

Yordle Smith

2-Mana | 2/2 | Yordle

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/yordlesmith.png
"Quest'll be over quicker than you can fry a ferret."

"Poppy never listens t'me, so you better: It's not about the hammer, it's about the yordle who swings it."

An old weapons master who's well acquainted with Poppy. When he attacks, all allies with equal or less power gain Quick Attack for that round.

  • Cool Old Guy: Between his combat knowledge, weapons smithing, lax demeanor, and mentorship to fellow yordles, he's a pretty cool old guy to hang out with.
  • The Mentor: He's implied to have taught Poppy how to fight long ago, and is also trying to teach Peppy who's a little more distractible. In-game, he's designed to attack alongside weaker units to grant them stronger offense thanks to Quick Attack.
Peppy: "I'm ready! Teach me a new move!"
Yordle Smith: "New move? Ya didn't listen to my first thirty!"
  • Old Master: He's visibly aged, and shows a lot of combat and smithing knowledge when interacting with others like Poppy.

Yordle Squire (Peppy)

1-Mana | 2/1 | Yordle

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/yordlesquire_5.png
"Lookin' for a hero for my Hero!"

"My spear used to belong to a great hero, too... I made Poppy hold it for a minute!"

A young yordle with a deep admiration for Poppy. When played, Peppy can create either a Tiny Spear (Grants an ally +1|0) or a Tiny Shield (Grants an ally 0|+1).

  • Borrowed Catchphrase: Tries out one of Poppy's battle quotes when attacking.
    "Ready, Hammer!"
  • Fearless Fool: She's very brave in battle, which is quite unwise for a young novice like her. Even Poppy is afraid of her getting hurt.
Poppy: "I don't say this often, but... don't be a hero."
  • Hero Worship: She really likes Poppy, to the point of modeling her adventuring attire and tools after the latter's. Her card art shoes her in awe as Poppy battles a monster attacking their party. And while Poppy hasn't quite grasped the possibility of being the legendary hero, Peppy can see it clear as day.
  • Legacy Character: Invoked. She tries to be one to Poppy, going by her similar-sounding name and copying many of Poppy's adventurer traits. Though she's got a couple centuries of catching up to do before getting to that point.

    Rare

Mini-Minatee

3-Mana | 3/3

Oh, the wee minitee!

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/miniminatee.png

A prehistoric seal/manatee-type creature. It can only be created with either the Minimorph spell, transforming an enemy unit into a minitee, or by being summoned by the Megatee

    Epic

Ava Achiever

Voiced By: Lara Jill Miller
6-Mana | 4/4 | Yordle

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/avaachiever.png
"Bandle Scout recruit Ava, ready to learn!"

"Rule 378: A good scout is always brave, always prepared, and always daring!"

A dedicated Bandle Scout looking to prove her best. At the end of a round or whenever Ava is summoned, she'll plant 3 Poison on random cards in the enemy deck. Traps are passively doubled in quantity when activated.

  • A Day in the Limelight: The announcement cinematic for Beyond the Bandlewood has her narrating over one of her scout duties, specifcially collecting materials across Runeterra for a city festival.
  • Genki Girl: She takes on all of her scout duties with utmost enthusiasm, often to a fault. Nothing really seems to change her tone, even dying in battle.
Swole Scout: "My secret? Veggie smoothies every morning!"
Ava Achiever: "Was that what I drank earlier? (fascinated) It was disgusting."

    <dying> "Aww, nuts!"
  • Hero Worship: She really wants to impress her scoutmaster, Teemo. Even her passive directly synergizes with his, since he can double the number of puffcaps she plants with his leveled up passive.
  • Punny Name: A play on "over-achiever".

Bandle City Mayor

3-Mana | 2/2 | Yordle

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/bandlecitymayor.png
"Together, we are united."

It's unclear whether Bandle City ever really elected a mayor, but an enormous mustache would almost certainly be a prerequisite.

The mayor of Bandle City. When played, the Mayor will manifest a multi-region follower. Passively, he makes all multi-region units will cost 1 less.

  • Ambiguous Situation: Invoked and Played for Laughs. Nobody knows how he even got elected; he apparently just showed up one day declaring himself the mayor, and everyone was so charmed that they took it in stridenote .
  • The Ditz: He displays some very forgetful and absent-minded behavior, like how he ends up on the opposing side of his citizens, completely unaware that there's even a battle occuring.
Mayor: "Your esteemed Mayor has arrived. Has the battle started?"
Bandle Commando: "It started a while ago... And you are on the wrong side again."
  • Manly Facial Hair: Parodied. His moustache is so long that he has two assistants to carry each end at all times. And he takes great pride in it too, treating it as a key part of his mayoral status.
"Make sure you capture the moustache's grandeur!"
