Attack Damage

    Brella
A core member of the ReV revolutionary group. A reckless and violent young woman whose love of causing chaos is grossly enabled by how she's consistently lucky enough to get away with anything.
  • Born Lucky: Bullets miss her and money finds her.
  • Flash Step: One of the few characters who can use their dash move consecutively.
  • Punny Name: Brella. As in, um-Brella.
  • Token Evil Teammate: ReV is an extreme, but well meaning, isolationist group of Immortals. Brella's more or less a terrorist without a cause who happens to work for the team.

    Chang'e (and Raby)
A constantly sleepy little girl from the Moon. Her innocent and sweet demeanor masks a bratty and impertinent side that often gets her into trouble that her pet Raby has to bail her out of.
  • Beleaguered Assistant: Chang'e is supposed to be Raby's guardian. Not that you could tell with how often he winds up protecting her.
  • Brilliant, but Lazy: Chang'e is capable of mighty feats, but she's far too busy napping to bother doing any.
  • Butter Face: Raby's got the body of a Greek God and a goofy, cartoonish face.
  • Improbable Weapon User: Chang'e wields a fellow loaded with hard and heavy golden mooncakes.
  • Mighty Glacier: They both boast high HP and low speed, but Raby's capable of doing big damage and Chang'e is a smidge faster than him.
  • Older Than They Look: Attends New World No.3 High School, but as an Immortal, it's difficult to tell if she's too young to go there or is too old to go there.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: When Raby runs away after getting frustrated with Chang'e during An Easy Task, his master goes into uncharacteristically energetic and verbose histrionics as she hires Harvey to get him back.
  • Pintsized Power House: She's strong enough to knock out Ginny by throwing one of her soft slippers at him.
  • Rapid-Fire Fisticuffs: Raby's "Thousand Fists" ultimate ability.
  • Stance System

    Crimps (Pinch & Paunch)
A demonic duo of young MJ (and food) fans, they're determined to get his autograph, even if they have to beat it out of their beloved rockstar to get it.

    Dracula
Probably not that Dracula. Probably. A vampire gourmand and recent transfer student to Esper City who wants to sample the metropolis' eclectic cuisine. That is, its food, not its people.

    Garuda
The stoic and sloppily-dressed hall monitor of Meta World Peace High School, Garuda polices his school with a fair hand and a swift wingbeat of his feathers.
  • The Ace: Cool-headed, intelligent, and skilled in combat, it says something that experienced heroes like Aurelius & Silvio defer to his judgement and seek his help when faced with complicated crises.
  • Wardrobe Flaw of Characterization: Wears his tie loose and keeps his blazer unbuttoned that simultaneously gives him a delinquent vibe while making him appear paradoxically approachable.

    Ginny
Recently transferred to New World No.3 High School, Ginny attempted to assert his position in the academy's pecking order by challenging its toughest students to fights with rather mixed results. Now somewhere in its middle, Ginny lives each day trying to figure out what to do with his life in the shadow of his two extremely successful parents.
  • Adrenaline Makeover: His features sharpen and harden when he's in a serious fight.
  • Attractive Bent-Gender: Whereas Ginny tends to look like a lanky, comical loser outside of battle (and even sometimes during it), his Rule 63 version is a gorgeous Amazonian Beauty Tsundere.
  • Badass Family: He's the son of Taurell and Maddie, with all three of them being rather powerful demons..
  • Beady-Eyed Loser: Most of time, he sports an underwhelming appearance with this as his most prominent facial feature.
  • Berserk Button: All manner of things can set Ginny off, but his female version takes special offense for people trying to get a glance up her short skirt.
  • Even Bad Men Love Their Mamas: One strip of Academia Library has him cook a Mother's Day dinner for Maddie, who was too busy gambling to remember the occasion.
  • Flaming Hair: Sometimes gets this when he activates his abilities.
  • I Am Not Left-Handed: Even without his flames, he still has his strength and martial art expertise to fall back on.
  • I Just Want to Be Badass: A two-fisted, wannabe young warrior living in a period of relative peacetime where conflict is usually solved at very long ranges courtesy of arms dealers like his father.
  • In the Blood: While his fire powers come from his mother, he has a decent amount of entrepreneurship as shown when he found a way to combine strength training, practicing his flame abilities, and making some extra money with a lucrative cheap hot chestnut and barbecue stand.
  • Jack of All Stats: A respectable character choice for new players as he has versatile offensive and mobility options and moderate durability.
  • Muscles Are Meaningful: His powerfully built athletic body usually is. Unless it's funnier for it not to be.
  • Power Incontinence: He's banned from visiting his father's business due to an incident during his infancy when he accidentally burped flames when Taurell was showing him around the Blackbull Security armory.
  • Starter Mon: One of the heroes that all players have immediate access to.
  • Superpowerful Genetics: Inherited his pyrokinesis (and possibly his temper) from his mother Maddie.
  • Weaksauce Weakness: With his powers still in their infancy, being doused with water is enough to cut him off from his pyrokinetic abilities.

    Heavenbound
The philanthropic head of the Watchtower, a facility he founded to promote progressive scientific, magical, and societal research. But beneath these lofty goals is a much loftier and perilous ambition.
  • A God Am I: Calls himself an "all-powerful, divine being" when he confronts his enemies.
  • Affably Evil: He is sincerely generous, noble, and polite.
  • Assimilation Plot: Desires the complete "fusion" of the event that created the setting of the game in the first place.
  • Create Your Own Hero: Milu Deer would not have existed nor would she have had a chance to join the protagonists if not for Heavenbound.
  • Evil Versus Evil: His goals run anathema to ReV's, but he's no ally to the protagonists.
  • Sinister Geometry: Wields a set of "Necrohedrons" in battle, weapons similar to the prism Dawn uses, but are so dangerous that most other Immortals wouldn't even consider touching them.

    Iggy & Pop
A young draglet who always brings along his little sister so he can watch over her as he searches for meals. Unfortunately, the tastiest snacks always seem to be where the action is.
  • Big Little Brother: Pop manages to be the more intelligent and mature sibling in spite of how she can't even walk or speak yet.
  • Brains and Brawn: Pop & Iggy.
  • Dual Mode Unit: When he's hungry, Iggy moves faster and can "smell" enemies farther away. When he's full, he becomes larger and more durable while sacrificing the benefits listed above.
  • Expy: With his tongue attacks and status as a mount of sorts, Iggy's a particularly savage draconic version of Yoshi.
  • Improbable Weapon User: Pop's lollipop.
  • Kid with the Leash: Pop, to her older brother, as she's capable of performing actions that can coax Iggy into doing what she wants.
    Ittan-Momen
An apprentice ninja exchange student from Japan. She is aided by a ninja beast that takes the form of the scarf she wears around her neck. It's name is Muffles.
    Jinzha
Lotus' big sister, Jinzha is an accomplished athlete and gold medalist, which is quite a feat considering that she has to compete against Demons and Immortals.
    Jiro
A courageous and somewhat vain security officer who has repurposed his personal reconnaissance drone to take selfies of him whenever he does something cool.
    MJ
A horse demon pop star cum rocker who enters the Cat Cup to boost his public image. While he enjoys sizeable popularity, he is often lambasted by critics for his grandstanding and shallow musical quality, with many of his fans having a tendency to deny they are such if pressed.
  • Attractive Bent-Gender: His female counterpart in the Rule 63 dream arc in Academia Library has much softer equine features and is rather well-endowed in all the right places.
  • Critical Dissonance: He can draw humongous crowds with his music and showboating personality, but he's held in contempt by most of the cast.
  • Dynamic Entry: Two of his abilities involve crossing great distances in an instant to slam into enemies. These moves can also be used to beat a hasty retreat if necessary.
  • Even the Guys Want Him: Rocket once accidentally mistook his toned, athletic backside for that of a beautiful woman's. In all fairness, MJ was wearing very short-shorts and a tight top because he thought he was handsome enough to rock androgynous clothing that day.
  • Expy: As the horselike son of a Dragon King, he's one to Bai Longma, Sanzang's superpowered white steed from Journey to the West.
  • Gonk
  • Instrument of Murder: His mic stand.
  • Kirin: Resembles one because of his horns, but his personality is far removed from what a kirin's typically is.
  • Large Ham
  • Let No Crisis Go to Waste: When Harvey and Raby crash his concert during An Easy Task, MJ quickly finds a way to incorporate their violent fight into his performance.
  • Magic Music
  • Megaton Punch: Every fourth blow of his will knock nearby enemies into the air.
  • Musical Assassin
  • Shout-Out: Shares initials with Michael Jackson.
    Maddie
Peacetime has given this fiery demoness a chance to open her own Investment Firm, start a family, and brush up on her mahjong skills. But when trouble needs to be put down, she is quick to reveal that her flames and fan are as fierce as ever, even if the source of that trouble is her husband, Taurell or her son, Ginny.
    No. 06
A mysterious demi-human of unknown species who alters his identity and abilities based on whichever of his masks he is wearing. While he goes to Meta High, he mostly keeps to himself by day, and by night he explores the seedier parts of Esper City in search of something.
  • Mask of Power: They're central to his fighting style.
  • Monkey King Lite: His tail, headband, monkey mask, various abilities, and cudgel call to mind Sun Wukong. Which made it a bit strange when the actual Wukong showed up in the game.
  • You Are Number 6
    Pretty
Once a troublesome delinquent, Pretty swore fealty to Garuda after being defeated by the hall monitor and became his self-appointed "henchwoman" in keeping the peace at Meta World Peace High School. That said, he's not above a little mischief now and then.
