Gods
Norse Pantheon
Loki
- Voiced by: Matthew Mercer
- Affably Evil: Loki is nothing but pleasant to the New God despite his loathsome reputation. That all goes out the window come the ending when he tries to kill them once he has what he wants.
- Astral Projection: Usually appears to the New God when outside Aegir's hall as a purple projection.
- Devious Daggers: Loki can often be seen twirling his daggers, and playing Five-Finger Fillet's with them.
- Evil Mentor: He helps teach the New God about their capabilities as a god, but he's ultimately only using them so he can escape his prison.
- Green-Eyed Monster: He killed Baldur because Odin favoured him above everyone else.
- Tin Tyrant: Wears golden armor that fully covers him in the first phase of his boss fight.
Týr

- Blood Knight: Being the Norse war god, Týr absolutely lives for battle and conflict.

- Relative Button: He taunts Ingrid with her brother's fate, saying his soul lays dishonored with the sick and diseased in the darkest part of Niflheim.
Heimdall
- Voiced by: Elle Newlands

Hel
- Voiced by: Alex Cazares
- Amazing Technicolor Population: Hel has grey skin, unlike her father Loki.
- Good Scars, Evil Scars: Like in the orignal myth half of Hel's face (as well as the whole left side of her body) is blackened and badly scarred, and she's not the nicest of people either.
- Winged Humanoid: Flies around with a pair of bat like wings sprouting from her back.
- White Hair, Black Heart: Possesses white hair, and introduces herself after the New God thwarted her attempt to invade Midgard, cackling about of all the harm she will cause once Frodi eventually perishes and can no longer keep her forces out.
Freyja
- Voiced by: Laura Post
- Hot Goddess: Freyja is the Norse goddess of love, and she certainly looks the part.
- Lady Drunk: While far more attractive then usual examples, Freyja is still hardly ever seen without a filled goblet in her hand.
Odin
- Voiced by: David Sobolov
- Authority Sounds Deep: Is the ruler of Asgard and is voiced by David Sobolov.
- Big Eater: Appears in Aegir's hall aggressively biting into a whole horse leg.
- Creepy Crows: Appears to the New God, accompanied by his ravens.
- Eyepatch of Power: Like most depictions of the All-Father, he's both missing an eye and is the head of the Norse pantheon.
Baldur
- The Ghost: Aside from a portrait of him over the tavern bar, he makes no physical appearances in the game, having been killed by Loki long before it started.
- Loved by All: He's Odin's favourite son, and he was very well liked in Asgard. Which is why Loki was imprisoned for killing him.
- Parental Favouritism: Baldur is Odin's most favoured son a fact Thor is well aware of.
- Posthumous Character: Loki killed him long ago and is currently imprisoned for the act.
Egyptian Pantheon
- Adaptational Species Change: Rather than being portrayed as the Half-Human Hybrids they were in mythology, possessing the actual heads of animals on their human bodies, the Pantheon is instead presented as completely human-like in appearance, with animal themed masks.

- You Killed My Father: Seek revenge on Týr for leading her brother astray and getting him killed.
Stikkan
- Voiced by: Greg Chun
- Greed: Forms the greed stone with his unending avarice.
- Greed Makes You Dumb: Stikkan stole Thor's hammer, and attempted to steal Freyja's necklace, which was in the possession of Hel at the time. Suffice to say, if not for the New Gods presence, he likely wouldn't have survived committing such brazen burglary for long.
