The Agravity Boys

A team of 4 human earthlings who got stranded on a-Jumbro after getting sucked into a black hole.
    In general
  • Ambiguously Bi: All of the boys (except Chris) are shown as interested in girls, but they also fear and suspect they would find shirtless Chris attractive.
  • A Friend in Need: The boys would all risk their lives for each other.
  • Band of Brothers: While they may sometimes bicker with each other, they're ultimately loyal to each other and would do anything to keep each other safe.
  • Bathtub Bonding: The Agravity Boys have bathed together since middle school.
  • Bros Before Hoes: They decide not to use the gender-changing elixir as it only causes rifts in their friendship.
  • Everybody Is Single: None of them have had any experience with relationships, except Baba who has been in a relationship with "0.5 people." It's implied they've never seen a woman naked in real life.
  • Fake Relationship: Chris and Saga pretend to be a couple for Monica.
  • Giver of Lame Names: Literally all of the boys, who struggle with giving good names to places on the planet.
  • Hot Springs Episode: Chapter 4 and Chapter 12 all center on bathing in a natural body of water and the awkwardness of Chris looking like a girl.
  • Lying to Protect Your Feelings: The boys will sometimes do this to protect Chris' feelings.
  • Mr. Fanservice: Practically all of the boys are shown with their shirts off in suggestive poses. Especially Chris and Baba.
  • Powered Armor: The group each has their own reinforced armor suit.
  • Stupid Sexy Flanders: The boys refuse to look at Chris' shirtless body in fear that they'll find Chris attractive.
  • The Power of Friendship: Often comically invoked in the manga as the boys go through the trials of surviving on α-Jumbro and dealing with the Higher Being's interference.

The engineer of the group. A man obsessed with lewdness.

    Chris Erwitt
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/chris_42.png
The medical officer. A mild-mannered and level-headed boy.
  • Attractive Bent-Gender: A natural at posing and dressing as a girl, he unites the universe by dressing as a maid while live streaming.
  • Clueless Chick-Magnet: Between his cute looks and genuinely nice and chivalrous personality, Chris is extremely attractive to women, easily gathering numbers during the flirt-off when girls flocked all over him. When he meets the rest of this crew having used the gender-bending potion, they also fall for him when seeing how cool and the mission gets completely derailed by their attempts to flirt with him. However, he does very little with this and rarely reciprocates, or even is comfortable, with their affection.
  • Dude Looks Like a Lady: Chris is the most feminine-looking of the group and is sometimes mistaken for a girl. Baba calls him "prettier than the average girl."
  • Even the Guys Want Him: In Chapter 1, the boys immediately start courting Chris after the Higher Being offers an elixir that can change a man into a woman. In Chapter 4, even though Chris was not changed into a woman, the boys dare not to look at shirtless Chris as they're afraid they'll find him attractive. At the end of Chapter 10, Grislow mistakes Chris for a girl and becomes infatuated with Chris.
  • Gag Censor: Chris' nipples are censored by the text of the author requesting fan mail.
  • Gender-Blender Name: Chris can either be a male or female name.
  • The Heart: Without Chris, the boys wouldn't function so well. Then again, he can also be the cause of their insanity.
  • Hospital Hottie: The boys fear they would be attracted to Chris, the group's doctor, if they saw him without his shirt on. Grislow becomes even more infatuated with Chris as Chris heals his wounds.
  • Nice Guy: Compared to the other three boys, who are mostly selfish chuckleheads, Chris is the only one who's genuinely nice.
  • Non-Action Guy: Chris is the smallest and most physically weak of the group.
  • Not Distracted by the Sexy: Chris is the only one in the group who isn't tempted by the thought of getting a girlfriend from the Higher Being's wish granting.
  • Not So Above It All: Chris has his moments, such as when he gives in to Higher Being's offer of the chance to collaborate with another famous streamer.
  • Only Sane Man: Chris is easily the most level-headed of the group, almost never tempted by the Higher Being's offers of granted wishes.
  • Shorter Means Smarter: While Geralt is the most academically intelligent of the group, Chris himself is the group's doctor and the wisest of them. He's also the shortest by far.
  • The Cutie: Chris is the least selfish of the group and is intentionally drawn to look cute.
  • The Medic: Chris is the medical expert of the group.

    Geralt Zeman

The physicist. An eccentric genius that is also obsessed with women.

  • Absentminded Professor: Geralt, who often gets distracted by the thought of girls.
  • First Friend: Baba, Chris, and Saga seem to be Geralt's first friends, as he was a loner at the academy and seen as unapproachable due to being the top genius. Until the boys invited him to lunch.
  • Handsome Lech: Geralt, who regretted not going to a porn shop before Earth was destroyed. Back before Earth was destroyed, he was seen as handsome by girls.
  • Loves My Alter Ego: Befriended a woman online (by pretending to be a girl and using Chris's headshot for his profile pic). This is the best relationship he's ever had with a woman, but not only is it built on his online persona, but the woman is a high-ranking law enforcement official who is determined to take the real Geralt down for his part in a massive jailbreak.
  • Mad Scientist: Geralt is more concerned with what is exciting or novel than what is actually practical or makes sense.
  • No Social Skills: Despite being handsome and intelligent, Geralt is really bad at maintaining a good first impression, especially with anyone of the opposite sex.
  • Potty Emergency: Chapter 3 where Geralt really, really has to go the bathroom after having tested out experimental dishes made from the plants and berries of the planet.
  • Smart People Wear Glasses: Despite the story being set in the future where things like laser eye surgery exist, Geralt wears glasses. His friends tease him saying that Geralt's ideal town would be full of eye-wear stores.
  • Super Serum: Geralt dopes in order to instantly have a bodybuilder physique.
  • The Smart Guy: Geralt is the space physicist of the group and considered a genius.
  • Toilet Humour: Geralt is often preoccupied by toilet-related thoughts like his hemorrhoids or being unable to go to the bathroom when not at home.

    Tachikaze Saga

The pilot. A hot blooded but reliable man.

  • Heavy Sleeper: Saga who can sleep through the noise of the several alarm clocks in his room.
  • Shonen Hair: Saga's spiky hair.
  • Stock Shōnen Hero: Saga, the pilot. The least intelligent of the group, but also courageous.
  • The Ditz: Saga, the pilot, is portrayed as the most airheaded of the group. Although each of the boys have their moments of outlandish stupidity.

Project Jörð

    Grislow Krakowski
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/grislow.PNG
The leader of Project Jörð.
  • Bad Boss: Grislow promises severe punishment if his subordinates disobey him. He's also willing to lie to cover up his infatuation with Chris.
  • It's All About Me: Grislow has aspirations of personal glory and quickly denies the protests of his subordinates.
  • Love at First Sight: Grislow fell in love with Chris when he first saw him, mistaking Chris for a girl.

    Arsh Jammwal
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arsh.PNG
One of the more rational and responsible members of Project Jörð, except when it comes to Geralt.
  • Loony Fan: Arsh idolizes Geralt, because Geralt's genius inspired Arsh's nation to create a science program which ended up lifting Arsh out of poverty. Arsh chooses to see all of the zany things Geralt does as having deep philosophical meaning.
  • The Philosopher: Arsh sees everything Geralt does as philosophical.

    Leeta
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/leeta.PNG
Project Jörð's robot member.
  • Fembot: While Leeta has not been referred to as a girl, Leeta has a somewhat feminine shape.
  • Token Robot: The only robot in the group, and the entire manga so far.

    Luo Yinuo
The youngest member of Project Jörð at age 17. A soldier of the Northern Alliance's secret intelligence organization who has fought in all kinds of battles.

  • Beware the Quiet Ones: Naturally shy, but he gets excitable among his friends and extremely competent when fighting his enemies.
  • It Amused Me: Follows Grislow mainly because he thinks that the situations Grislow gets into are hilarious. Thus he often approves of and encourages Grislow's ill-thought-out plans, but is just as ready to bail him out for the next misadventure.
  • Stronger Than They Look: Despite being short for a man, he's an expert martial artist.

    Volk Kahveci
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/volk_kahveci_1.PNG
The oldest and wisest member of Project Jörð at age 25.
  • The Casanova: Called a playboy by Grislow, a label which Volk agrees with. This comes into play during the flirt off, where he easily charms one woman after the other.
  • Only Sane Man: The only human member of Project Jörð who hasn't acted outlandishly stupid... yet.
  • Puddle-Covering Chivalry: While competing with the Agravity Boys to see who can pick up the most girls, Volk picks up two girls by protecting them from splashing water, with his own body.
  • Team Dad: The oldest of any of the humans left, he's the most level-headed and less likely to be sidetracked by any eccentricity or weirdness of his group.

Nonhuman entities

    Higher Being
An entity from another dimension with impressive reality-bending powers, who takes an interest in humans for his amusement.
  • It Amused Me: His reason to do anything is to extract entertainment from seeing the boys squirm.
  • Jerkass God: The Higher Being torments the Agravity Boys by offering granted wishes that would clearly challenge their friendship.
  • The Right of a Superior Species: The Higher Being seems to think there's no issue with him experimenting on the boys.

    Monica
An intergalactic police officer that befriends Geralt online, but doesn't know that he was posing as a girl using Chris's picture.
