Can we do something about the user who is editing entries regarding Monty killing Bonnie pre-Glitchtrap? It's clear they're a huge Monty fan, and they keep trying to suggest that he was brainwashed into doing it. They even edited the Seventh Generation character sheet in a similar manner. If they like Monty, that's fine, but it's still Draco in Leather Pants (from what I can tell, anyway).

We don't have to ban the user or anything, just maybe undo their edits and tell them not to do it again.

Quick question. With the release of the Ruin DLC, should YMMV tropes regarding it be put on this page? And if so, should they be within the other tropes in a separate folder?

Forgive me for revisiting this page, but in regards to the Draco in Leather Pants thing...does that mean it's wrong to feel sorry for Roxy and what happens to her? Even if you don't leather pants her? I mean, as seen on the "Woobie" page, even fans who don't leather pants her sympathize with her, sooo...

Edit: Before anyone asks, while Roxy is my favorite, I am not a simp.

Leather pants has nothing to do with sympathy automatically, it's just the heavy removal or downplaying negative qualities. In Roxy's case: the removal of her vicious competitiveness and more personal attacks on Gregory. Or focus on how she was a pawn and not independent in her actions.

Okay, seriously? People need to keep their headcanons out of the trope pages, even YMMV.

This is very much directed at the "Gregory is actually a villainous psychopath" people.

The worst things the kid does is maim and dismember killer robots that are trying to rip him apart and defend himself against a serial killer in a fursuit (That Gregory (not the player) doesn't know is a brainwashed victim and has no way of knowing). and lie to Freddy a couple times out of survival.

I get some people are thirsty for the serial killer in the fursuit, but unless there's ACTUAL in-game evidence or reference, keep your headcanons out of the pages.

THANK YOU for this. People are way too harsh on kids in this series. ‘Oooh Gregory is the evil mastermind!’ He is seven.

I think people are mistaking Ron the Death Eater style character-bashing with serious, legitimate speculation about a character with an implied Dark and Troubled Past who also happens to be prone to morally grey actions. I've seen both. While people do go "OMIGOD GREGORY IS EVIL FOR HURTING THE BOTS I HATE HIM!!!!", I've also seen people say "Gregory's much too competent and ruthless for his age even with the surrounding circumstances, so he might have a darker role in the story than we first expected." For one, some people think that the Retro CDs do not only feature two patients, but the one who doesn't speak is Gregory (when they don't, they think Vanny and Vanessa are separate).

I don't personally take stock in the whole "Gregory is a hidden villain" theory since it raises a ton of further questions and potential plotholes (I'm Team "Gregory is simply a kid from a troubled background who has learned how to be independent from bad life experiences and happens to have no other connection to the plot". Or, to put it another way, I'm GregHomeless, not GregEvil). But, it's still worth mentioning that, while it isn't *that* common a read, it's still a read that some people have. Keep in mind FNAF uses (maybe abuses?) ambiguity and is built to house Epileptic Trees, so people are going to overanalyse everything, down to the 8 to 12 year old's actions.

I also feel it's disingenuous to discredit anyone who questions Gregory's actions (or writing for that matter) as people thirsting over Vanny/Roxy and character-bashing him for opposing them. For the record, I'm a Vanny stan who was disappointed by her lack of appearances, but I also like Gregory *precisely* because he's way more independent and ruthless than we first anticipated, even if some of his actions could be justified by 'survival situation.'

That said? People who bash Gregory for 'disassembling' Vanny? Shame on you. It isn't that far off from, say, Charlie deliberately setting off springlocks with 'Dave' still inside at the end of The Silver Eyes (which is generally considered an Awesome Moment). Plus, not only does Gregory react realistically at the sight, but it's also Freddy's idea.

Ehhh I really don't hate Gregory that much, but boy has he committed a boatload of crimes. In 6 hours. As a kid. Which is pretty damn impressive (yet horrendously illegal) by my standards. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FijCmVTDPuU for the crimes he committed

@Garry Sucks 123

Committing crimes doesn’t mean someone is evil.
