Having played The Deadliest Gambit, yeah, I very much doubt the Slasher book is gonna be in any way related to it, they are clearly different genre.
I think we're looking at another year of Strictly Formula: single LI, mature sex stories, and those gender-locked ones are about women having affairs. Of course, we'll wait until the end of the year before we put it in.
Edited by kkj12345I think Developers' Desired Date may have to be its own section with each new story. Single LI stories don’t count, but multiple LI ones where it’s like “you’re getting with them whether you like it or not.”
Does Rated M for Money apply to mature tagged Choices stories? I mean, that's what a lot of people have been saying.
Edited by kkj12345 Hide / Show RepliesI think it would only count if the M rating is for “look how much we can get away with before they threaten to shut us down.” More style than substance.
Regarding the following example, we shouldn't be using slashes. Does anyone have specific instances of Game-Favored Gender for either the protagonists or the customizable love interests? The only one that I can think of is in Endless Summer, where screaming/punching affects your relationship values differently.
- Game-Favored Gender / Purely Aesthetic Gender: In some of the games you can choose your gender, but the degree to which that matters (and therefore which trope that game would fall under) is variable.
If not, here's my proposed rewrite:
- Purely Aesthetic Gender: In books with gender-customizable protagonists or love interests, the characters tend to read the same. Endless Summer is an exception, as the protagonist's gender affects Relationship Values differently in some scenes for the same set of actions.
So I just noticed certain stories are now en Español. Should Dub Name Change be put under those particular books in trivia or on their main page? For example, Bloodbound is called Pasión en Sangre.
Hide / Show RepliesThat doesn't seem to be listed as a trivia trope, so I imagine it would be on their main page.
Currently the Choices page makes no mention of the VIP program or any of the early access books. Should we include some info about it and maybe list the books or leave it off the page until they get a general release or the VIP program is made available to everyone?
Hide / Show RepliesIt was announced today that the VIP program will shortly be made available for everyone, so once that happens, I'm planning to add the VIP books to the page if there are no objections.
Since Choices is now doing a VIP access thing and they just got leaked, should we put them up if they get leaked out or wait till they become public? The two new ones revealed are Hot Couture and With Every Heartbeat.
Hide / Show RepliesI'd wait until we have more information. Until we get some kind of official confirmation from Pixelberry, I'm not sure how much of this leaked information I trust.
Shouldn't The Haunting of Braidwood Manor have a page like the others too?

Hard to believe that it's only the start of February, yet we've got pretty much all of 2024's VIP schedule already laid out (assuming no Schedule Slips). Here's an approximation of it:
- February 2024: Immortal Desires, Book 2
- Early/Mid March 2024: Along Came Treble
- Late March 2024: The Deadliest Game
- April 2024: The Ghost of Us
- May 2024: Filthy Rich
- June 2024: Hearts on Fire
- July 2024: Rivals With Benefits (Roommates With Benefits, Book 2)
- August 2024: A Taste For Royalty (two years after previous Choices cooking book, Slow Burn, assuming it hasn't been outright cancelled)
- September 2024: Crimes of Passion, Book 3 (one year after Book 2 ended)
- October 2024: Slasher Book (mentioned in today's Insiders, assuming it's not the same as TDG, which is unlikely, fitting for Halloween)
- November/December 2024: Blades of Light and Shadow, Book 3 (almost one year after Book 2 ended)
- ...Plus at least one other book in the month that BOLAS isn't released in (most likely)
