Shouldn't the PresidentSuperhero trope be under this list?
Or is there a reason for that?
Edited by Love777How about President Puppet? A lot of overlap with P. Personable or P. Scheming, perhaps, but there must be a hell of a lot of examples of leaders whose only fault is putting too much faith in Evil Chancellors.
Maybe President Scheming should be changed - at present it's just "President Corrupt, but less." I think we could use a President Power-Hungry, as there are tons of fictional and real examples of chief executives whose real fault is a relentless drive for power and control.
Speaking as non-US trooper: to some extend there should be a troope our presidents are all the same as the legal systems in fiction have strange similaries to one particular legal system (it's justified as in many case the political plot is added later and it is familar for writer - it is still visible for outsider).
Just thinking... wouldn't "President Ersatz" be a better name for "President Unmodified"? It'd fit better with other trope names (namely Captain Ersatz)
Hide / Show RepliesI'd support the change. The only problem is that the wording might need to be changed as well.
President Unmodified seems to be a parody, while Captain E. is a rip off. Both are somewhat similar, but they have their differences.
My other signature is a Gundam.
