Is there a sub-trope of this where The Reveal becomes Internal Reveal in an adaption due to knowledge of the source material. For example the finale of The Spectacular Spider-Man revealed that Norman Osborn was Green Goblin. To Spider-Man fans this isn't much of a reveal, it's obvious, but if you have no background knowledge then it becomes a big reveal as the show had previously unmasked Harry as the Goblin.

The Inner Reveal has been merged into Internal Reveal per TRS.

I'm thinking for the page quote we should have the ultimate one. Something like

What exactly is the difference between this and The Inner Reveal?
