Renames go to TRS. As it is, it's better to have the name be "upgrade" since it's referring to the feminine factor being turned up. Girliness Downgrade would either result in misuse (for a character becoming a tomboy) or bashing (saying a character got worse from girliness).
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.well they often do get worse from girliness. often than not they just become Shallow Love Interest
That may be a matter of opinion. Anyway, renames go to the Trope Repair Shop.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going. It's listed twice in the blue sidebar on the left of this page. Link.

Yes, there's a thread cap in order to prevent backlog. A different thread will have to be closed first; be patient and an opening will come. Image Pickin' has a similar rule, though it's almost never at its limit.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going. Why is becoming girlier a bad thing? If the character does get worse from being girlier, like, you know, a Faux Action Girl, that would be Chickification. Even when this trope does have a negative effect on the character, the trope name still indicates they Took A Level In Girly Girl, the same way they could have Took a Level in Jerkass.
How about making a trope where a Girly Girl turns into a Tomboy, Took A Level In Tomboy
So presumably, this trope is about looks (i.e.: clothing, growing out hair) than general demeanor. If the character started out practically looking like a boy, and acting like The Lad-ette, but after a Time Skip sports longer hair, a dress-like tunic, and more, uh...curves, but still keeps a lot of her original character (albeit with development, such as going from a Jerk Jock to Took a Level in Kindness), would that be considered this trope?

I believe the Trope should be called Downgrade instead of Upgrade, Upgrade seems to suggest improvement on the character where when most Tomboys are made into Girly Girls in these shows they pretty much become nothing but an extra.
