Marvel's Civil War was all about this trope.

Per TRS, this is now In-Universe Examples Only, and examples require the two sides and/or a neutral third party to comment that both sides have a point:

Regarding RWBY.

The Volume 1 Weiss/Blake argument about the Faunus, keeps periodically being added back to this page. It is misuse of the trope, which is why it keeps being removed. Most recently, it went to the Is This An Example? thread, which triggered a Laconic rewrite to make the trope's intention as clear as possible.

This trope is not an audience-reaction trope. It doesn't matter whether the audience can see that both sides have a point. The trope is about a character who — in-universe — is faced with having to make a decision when they can see that both sides of the argument have a point.

Edited by Wyldchyld If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.
