"This trope makes it clear to the audience that the animal really is talking and it's not just their noises being translated." Yet in some of the examples listed, the animals are obviously speaking in Animal Talk, such as 101 Dalmatians, The Aristocats, Lady and the Tramp, Open Season, and Black Beauty.
