Outcome: The page is Spoilers Off for the time being, with appropriate comments and warnings added. As mentioned on ATT there might be scope to revisit later, but probably best to make that call when the series ends or settles into a lower-spoiler status quo.
Anyone know of a proper trope to describe the supernatural tattoos Johnny had Necro put onto him in the Vengeance Forever oneshot? Judging from the latest issue, they seem to magically reappear when Blaze is starting to "merge" consciousness with his Spirit of Vengeance. I don't think it's a Power Tattoo though since its obviously not where his superpowers come from.

As part of a wider Marvel image review, I've just realised that the page image change didn't go via Image Pickin' - as a rule, the first works page image is 'free', but subsequent changes normally go there for approval/discussion (at which point a commented out Image Pickin' note and link get added to the page). I'll get a thread there started to get this formalised & as a starting point for any further updates.

Shouldn't tropes contained in the Vengeance Forever oneshot be in its own separate page? I know the book is loosely related to this series but all the same, I feel they should be separated since the story in that book isn't directly tied to what's going on here.
So with issue 2 pretty much confirming that Ghost Rider plays an essential role in keeping the demons that roam Earth in check, and that his absence emboldens them to commit more blatant atrocities, does anyone here know which trope(s) describe GR's role?

Barrier Maiden isn't far off for the role, but he's not exactly the usual character type for that. Depending on how much is magical and how much is simply intimidation, Cosmic Keystone might be relevant too - but we might need a few more issues for clarity on that.
Given that the series is ending soon, this should probably prompt another review of spoiler policy - e.g. should we leave the First-Episode Twist or first few issues untagged, but tag the rest?
