Remember, there's more to Zen Survivor than simply being an Older and Wiser survivor. The Zen Survivor is a teacher who sort of acts as a Trickster Mentor to those worthy with cryptic clues and training. Action Survivor might be a more fitting trope.

I just wanted to second what Larkmarn said about Zen Survivor involving character traits that don't automatically apply to returning players; as that's why I tried cut the trope in the first place. Though I don't think Action Survivor fits either, for similar reasons. Frankly, I'm fine just cutting it and not trying to find a replacement trope.

I do have to agree that coming back makes the original cast all a Zen Survivor seems to be wild misuse, unless they display the actual traits of a Zen Survivor other than simply the survivor part.
Since there's no context on the entries I can't say whether they do or not, but simply being returning cast does not fit the trope.
At the very least, they need some context if they get added.
