Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread

Since It Was His Sled is about twist endings, are any of those really examples? Only the last one occurs at the end of the movie, and none of these "revelations" really fundamentally alter the plot.
I didn't choose the troping life, the troping life chose meThat, and a year and a bit is by no stretch of the imagination long enough to declare any twist "known by everyone" as IWHS requires.
So the examples should be deleted instead of being uncommented?
Also, I've seen It Was His Sled be used for any twist that's widely known, not just endings. But that's another issue.
We're not quite to the point where we can declare this IWHS.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.Admittedly, I don't know why they bothered hiding it at all. The argument was that it's too early to tell for sure, but we can't just keep things hidden indefinitely on the off chance they might maybe be true one day. We should cut it now and re-add it if we have to later.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessAlright, I cut the examples. As a sidenote, this query made me put It Was His Sled on Tropes Needing TRS.
On YMMV.The Rise Of Skywalker, there are some It Was His Sled examples commented out with a note added in December 2019 saying "It's too early to tell if this applies for a very spoilerific movie. Wait for a time until the spoilers are properly ingrained into pop culture." Here are the examples, none of which were written by me:
- It Was His Sled: This is a Star Wars movie, after all. The fact that several of the plot twists were already leaked prior to the film's release doesn't help.
- Rey is revealed to be the granddaughter of Emperor Palpatine.
- Kylo Ren has a Heel–Face Turn then sacrifices himself to save Rey, just like his grandpa.
- Rey and Kylo (or rather Ben Solo) kiss.
- Rey adopts the surname Skywalker in the ending.
Is now a good time to uncomment them? I asked this on the discussion page months ago, but no one replied.
