Trivia items are allowed to be listed on Creator pages. You're right that Creator/ pages can't have YMMV pages unless they refer to the creator's works, and YMMV.Hulu is just a bunch of shoehorned items that refer to the network (most of the items listed are supposed to refer to characters, making it misuse as well).

I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.

Thanks for placing Hulu on the Cut List. Also, I looked in the page history and found that the same troper who wrote the Network Decay entry on the YMMV page also created a YMMV page for Alice Walker. The only entry on said page is Overshadowed by Controversy, which seems to refer to the creator themselves, and is a Wall of Text to boot.

I already cutlisted the YMMV page for Hulu. As for YMMV.Alice Walker, I've personally never even heard of this conspiracy controversy stuff, as she's still mostly known for being an influential black author. So I doubt it's even an example.

I actually have heard of the Alice Walker stuff, and I know she has directly been accused of antisemitism before, but I don't know if it necessarily overshadows her, per se. It isn't what people talk about when they talk about her.

Just because someone supports a controversial political position, does not mean that position overshadows their work. Roger Waters, the frontman of Pink Floyd, has similar views regarding Israel, but he isn't overshadowed by them, people still know him mainly as "the guy from Pink Floyd." This is why Overshadowed by Controversy has gone through such a cleanup, not every single controversy ever needs to be listed, just the really big ones that you can't separate the person from, e.g. Bill Cosby, John Kricfalusi, J.K. Rowling, Harvey Weinstein, etc.

Sorry for the mini-rant, it just irritates me when the trope is so frequently misused.
