It is slightly frustrating that someone vandalized the whole page. But waiting until the game comes out makes sense.

Okay... But why were all of the tropes on the page deleted?
See Creating a Work Page for an Upcoming Work. Unreleased work pages need specific criteria: All the tropes must be cited, and the work must have some sort of release date or something similar.

In my opinion it's pretty hypocritical to delete every single example on a page and then delete it for being a "stub".
Again, it's policy. A page is a stub if it lacks at least three valid examples. It was a stub even before being deleted.

^^ It is not hypocritical when invalid deletions lead to editors getting suspended. Valid examples are kept and pages are evaluated based on the number of valid examples, the quality of the writing, and the existence of the work.

So would it be safe to recreate if I followed the Creatinga Work Page Foran Upcoming Work and cited all the tropes on the page? Because they can all be cited, and the ones that can't will stay saved on my profile page until the game releases.

I ask because, I saved all the tropes on that page before they got deleted. The page got cut because someone took all the tropes off and then it sat for a while and the game does release soon. Is it safe to add the page back with the tropes or should we leave it cut until the game is out? Genuinely don't know.
