Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.

That's definitely self-promotion. Both of them are fans of The Autobiography of Meatball Finkelstein and I am a Genius of Unspeakable Evil and I Want to Be Your Class President. And a hundred other things they share an interest in too. This is obvious self-promotion.
Am totally down for yeeting those into oblivion.
Has Zoic been sent a notifier for any of their issues?
Edited by Crossover-Enthusiast Jawbreakers on sale for 99ยข...Dude, seriously? Red flags? Look, I was just trying to find a way to express my opinions though writing, and every time I try to express an unpopular opinion (on Reddit, on TV tropes or You Tube or some other place), someone always tries to chew me out for rocking the boat. That's what I've experienced. Also, "author avatars" and "straw characters"? Really? Can't an author be allowed to write some silly fanfiction? Isn't this a free Internet?
The YMMV page is now cut.
Also, Zoic, may I direct you to The Fic May Be Yours, but the Trope Page Is Ours.
Edited by Berrenta she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportI erased all Zoic's self-recommendations. There were a few more of them.
It may be a free internet but this is not a website without rules.

While some of ZoicAlcelaphine's edits, particularly those related to Undertale, have been pretty questionable, I have reason to believe they may be recommending their own fics on the game's Fanfic Recs page. If you look at their troper page and the FFN page for one of the authors they keep promoting, they seem a bit too similar for it to be a coincidence (at least, it seems that way to me).
Also, the recently-created page for the fanfic The World Of Humans And Monsters, and especially its YMMV page, are tripping several red flags for me. Some of these include repeated usage of "The author believes/thinks..." and putting four instances of the canon characters getting called out under Catharsis Factor (it doesn't help that they're zero-context examples), along with including some non-YMMV tropes in the YMMV subpage as another way of going "this is why the canon characters are wrong".
Even if I'm wrong about the troper and the author being one and the same, that fic page needs serious work in order to stand as an objective page (which, considering that it's pretty much a Hate Fic that turns most of Undertale's cast into either author avatars or straw characters, may be an uphill battle). What do you think?
