I'm working on a page for a fan series, and the creator can be asked to give these things called "cryptic spoilers," . I would say they're Foreshadowing, but they're usually so vague on what it's alluding to unless the one who asks specifies, like "Cryptic spoiler for (name of character) in (chapter of story). Is there any trope for this specific case of foreshadowing, if you can even call it that?
