We don't, afaik that draft is the first of its kind.

I don't like the idea of expy tropes for individual big wrestlers. I'm starting to wonder if a "stereotypical professional wrestler" draft might be healthier down the line, noting that they draw inspiration from characters like Hogan and Savage.

^ Yeah, I agree. If this keeps up, someone may attempt to make a draft of expies based on John Cena, who, outside of memes, hasn't been referenced in media all that much. It may create a rabbit hole of future wrestler expy pages.

Yeah. When the draft began, I was iffy on Hulk Hogan getting one but the name and number of video game examples won me over.

Stock Flamboyant Wrestler might be a viable supertrope.

BONESAW IS READYYYYYYYYY

v Like I said, the name and number of examples (and the fact that Hogan's got very distinctive hair) made me think it can work on its own. Part of my issue with any other specific ones is that it's hard to demonstrate someone is actually inspired by any particular wrestler, but Hulk's got some particularly defining features and seems to have the examples to back it up.

Thats actually a good idea. I just don't like the idea of having to screw over someone's pretty funny trope name of Hoax Hogan. Though given he tends to be one of the first names you think about with professional wrestling, it might work as a catch-all name.

I must to say it's like the 3th-4th time I changed the name since not everyone is agreed with it, so a crowner should be done with a name everyone would be agree before launching the trope (not in my plans by now, mostly because of this)

^^I think that should be done, but apart of the draft I'm making, since Hogan had many expies during the time being the poster boy of pro-wrestling in general. I like the idea and I want to do it later, but if someone else do it first, I'll be glad to help with that

This is more appropriate in Trope Finder, though.
