Is there some reason it shouldn't?

It's a Useful Notes page, but it has examples like a Trope.

Ah, didn't notice that. Yeah, I'm not sure that Useful Notes is the right place for it, it seems like more of a Trivia / Main hybrid trope? Some of the examples are behind-the-scenes stuff, but some are discussed in-universe and even plot-relevant, like that one Detective Conan example where an older Japanese person using the old word for green turns out to have set Takagi down the wrong track.

Koreans in Japan is another Main—>Useful Notes transfer that includes examples. It features Japanese works that feature Korean characters.

Going through various Useful Notes pages, giving examples doesn't seem like it's all that unusual.

I'm not sure if Useful Notes can be used as tropes. I was told that Japanese Christian can't be used as a trope.

They shouldn't be listed on work pages as though they were tropes.
