I advise taking this question to the Anime and Manga forums, specifically the One Piece thread, and find consensus there. I believe it is fairly active.

Thanks, I will do that.

I've always considered them interchangeable, personally.

While not talking about any specific case, usually the source media has priority, especially when the time distance isn't too great.

That said, this "most recent official translation" policy itself needs its own thread on the Forums.

^ Agreed. We need a thread to decide on what the policy is supposed to mean.

Or at least an Administrivia page.

A public discussion makes the most sense, considering what we recently went through with the pre-release works situation.

One person interpreted the existing policy in a very weird way, and the forum thread resolved it. The same could happen here.

Personally, I also consider them interchangeable, and am fine with using either one. The reason I'm asking is for the sake of maintaining consistency for One Piece related articles, and whether or not this site has a preference for one or the other.

^^ I see plenty of people making weird interpretations of the policy. "This is the only possible interpretation of the trailer."

^ Interpreting trailers oddly isn't the same as interpreting wiki policy oddly. And you're getting off course.

In regard to the OP's question, the source material probably wins out. I say "probably" because, again, we don't really know what the policy is or isn't.

^ I figured that would be the case as well.
