Actors aren't a type of media, so I'm inclined to say no.
Other media indexes have creators too. I'm mostly concerned about the fact that Indian Media lists some actors who are only of Indian descent.
I think that would be a bad idea. There is lots of international migration and we'll see arguments about whether someone is "Indian" enough if we let that happen.

In particular, not everyone of Indian descent has been to India.

Though it might make things worse for people such as Jackie Chan who have worked in multiple countries with roughly equal coverage.

Indian Media lists some actors who don't live in India, but are of Indian descent.
If the Indian Media index is for media originating in India, do these actors count or not?
