^ - Nope, we've never seen it before, just heard that it happened.

(Sequential Art provides an ideal example where many years and story arcs after it was first mentioned we finally learn how and why Art and Pip ended up frantically digging a grave in the woods.)
^ - I guess it would be, even though the resolution happens in the sequel to the original?
It just has a shorter time between Incident Reveal, and Incident Resolution than usual?
Oh... "And if, many episodes or installments later, we finally get to see the incident and all the details about it (at least one TV series season, book volume, or film sequel has to be in the gap)"
So, this wouldn't count? Although, the reveal is at the end of the next story, almost three chapters away?

So, it'd be RNI, if an "installment" is a chapter, vs. if its a story...

Is it either Call-Back or Continuity Nod, when a story reveals more precise information on an event that was previously mentioned in a previous story?
Like, we know two people kissed, but we've never seen it, then see the lead up and happening of that kiss.
That would still be a Noodle Incident, and a Resolved Noodle Incident, maybe?
