Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread

Since Character Death is so omnipresent, I'd think it probably doesn't need an entry at all, as even the trope says no examples are needed. I suggest replacing it with its most relevant subtrope(s) or removing outright where none apply.
That said, I think I stand by my suggestion.
Edited by sgamer82Except we don't list it as part of the Omnipresent Tropes, which is odd.
Tangent; Character Death isn't a characterization trope, so why are examples being listed under Characters? Link to TRS threads in project mode here.
Probably whoever did it thought it would be too spoilery on the work page itself
^^ Oy, there's a whole debate about this sort of thing in Trope Talk. Some people believe that any trope, if given character context, can be used on a character page, so that's probably why it's there (if not sgamer82's suggestion).
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessYep, it is better to discuss in Trope Talk.
One thing I've discovered while working on the Star Wars character sheets is that there are some Character Death entries. As some of us know, Character Death is an omnipresent trope and is a super trope to Karmic Death, Redemption Equals Death, Dropped a Bridge on Him, etc.
As such, I have a question for fellow tropers: should just keep the Character Death entries or remove them altogether?
