Several flavors that can mix and match:
- Gadgeteer Genius: they're really, really, good at inventing
- Bungling Inventor: they try hard and may even be pretty good when they aren't blowing up the garage
- Mad Scientist: They're a little crazy (or a lot crazy)
- The Engineer: the more professional or experienced form, though with their own quirks
- Wrench Wench: They're kind of cute and really good at fixing stuff.
- Weekend Inventor: they only display these traits when the story requires
- Homemade Inventions: they make stuff out of junk and household items
- MacGyvering: they really quickly make stuff out of whatever they can find
