I read the title wrong - at first I thought "throw up" was referring to a Vomit Indiscretion Shot. I see now that's not what you meant.

I've Seen It A Million Times with minor variations (e.g. flying instead of running) but I'm gonna have to go digging through several lists of tropes.

  • In Megamind, Roxanne was thrown over a skyscraper while the thrower flew through it. (The thrower's name is a mild spoiler.)
  • In the How to Train Your Dragon movie series, Hiccup and Toothless practice this stunt, with Hiccup jumping off of Toothless's back.
  • If I recall the opening scene of Spider-Man 2 correctly, Spiderman did this with a stack of pizza boxes.

If not for this anchor I'd be dancing between the stars. At least I can try to write better vampire stories than Twilight.

Bump: I couldn't find your trope in the Chase Scene index.

If not for this anchor I'd be dancing between the stars. At least I can try to write better vampire stories than Twilight.

Bump: Couldn't find it in Megamind or How to Train Your Dragon (1 or 2)

If not for this anchor I'd be dancing between the stars. At least I can try to write better vampire stories than Twilight.
