I never said that Corvus IX posted it anywhere. I'm talking about other editing incidents in the past on this website regarding Iris entries on this wiki that had to be reverted since entries came off as complaining. Just clarifying.
I know, that's why I'm specifying that there was no reasoning to change the entry, which is an issue, so they should get a PM to talk this out here.

OK. However, what if the other person doesn't respond to the PM? Fan interpretations/theories should not be facts, but I won't restore my edit right away so I don't cause an edit war

^ If you've PM'd both Mariofan99 and Corvus, but you don't hear from them soon, you can either reraise the matter here, on the discussion page for Unitentionally Unsympathetic, or ask a cleanup thread on the forums (or the Pokemon anime thread there).
If the tropers had been sent notifiers, but they don't appear to respond to them, the mods will have records of the notifiers for reference in the future.

Okay. I did go to the cleanup thread for UU so there's that. I will try other methods.
Since nobody is saying anything, I suggest I re-write the entry to cut out the character bashing and to sound less biased and complain-y.

Yeah uh. You can't just imply you PM'd them and they didn't respond, you need to actually PM them, especially when you only got consensus from one person.
But we both talked yesterday and made an agreement.

I can confirm that Ms CC 22 did reach out to me a few hours after I posted my query and I updated my query to mention this once they did so. We did in fact reach an agreement that their edit can stay after they better explained their reasoning. My only remaining criticism is that they never explained why they took so long to PM me, especially when that was literally the very first thing they were instructed to do.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I think the issue is that you altered things and then had a discussion with them, which is the exact opposite of what you're supposed to do.

No, this whole thing started when I altered things with an edit reason on that page. You should always provide edit reasons when altering pages, which I did. The others changed it back. Then I came here to write a query and people barely responded. So that’s why I reverted it. Then the other Troper talked about was I needed to message him, which I did. Then the other troopers agreed with my edit.

I'm pretty sure they're referring to how you only PM'd me after you restored your edit and I made a query about how you never sent me a PM beforehand like you were instructed to.
The "I wasn't getting any responses" excuse doesn't exactly work when you still hadn't even tried the very first thing you were instructed to do.
And even if you had reached out to me by then, you still shouldn't have reverted it yet because you only had support from one person when you did so, which isn't enough to justify the reversion.

^ I sent a unilateral changes notifier for MsCC22's last edit to the page so it's now on the record. However the conversation here has apparently been fractured to multiple places, so we should move it to a single, more dedicated area for any needed continued discussion. A new ATT thread can always be made if the discussion peters out or if a mod needs to get involved with anything in the future.

Corvus IX changed the Iris entry on the pokemon subpage of Unitentionally Unsympathetic without any edit reasons. I put a reason as to why I first changed the entry, while that troper changed it around without any edit reasons.
I changed the first entry because the entry not only came off as complaining, but it bitterly insinuated that Iris was a bad friend and a bully (by that logic, Misty and Max are bad friends and bullies too since they would act the same way towards Ash as well). I wanted to revert it again, but I don't want to cause an Edit War. So I came here.
While fans have a right to think that Iris is unintentionally unsympathetic, they make false claims that Iris thought that she was "better" than Ash (when really she had no knowledge of Ash's accomplishments prior to Best wishes. If anything, how Iris criticized Ash is the real problem regarding her character).
