A lot of music genre pages list tropes associated with the genres; that isn't the only one. As for whether they should, I think Wiki Talk would be a better place to discuss whether music genre pages should have such trope lists, particularly due to what I said about this not being an isolated case.

Similarly, Korean Drama also has a list of tropes common to the genre than a list of works.

I'd just leave for Wiki Talk if genres need "common tropes" examples, because most of them have it.
