Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
That does seem a little too snarky and bashy. Remove it.
Kill it with fire.
I didn't choose the troping life, the troping life chose meYeah, that seems wrong. Even if it were a valid entry (and I don't believe it is) it is both written questionably from a style point of view and is a ZCE as well.
remove it.
for the record, it's okay to delete or comment out a folder if it only has bad or zero-context examples in it; ive done cleanups that ended up getting rid of four or five folders because of extensive misuse.
It's Word Cruft and it's misuse. There are prominent male characters in the movie and there's no logical conflicts with how many women are in the movie. It's set in modern times and women being scientists / paranormal investigators doesn't stand out as much as, say, women in the army in the 1800s.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe. Why can't they use Mercenaries as an exemplar instead?
^ Until clicking that link I hadn't even heard of the work until now. Not exactly a great bar.
Just delete the example.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessHow can a movie about ghostbusters even have an improbably female cast? You gotta wonder: improbable in comparison to which real-life ghostbusting organizations?
Edited by MichaelKatsuroWDS, huh? Sounds familiar. They just got released from edit banned too, then went back to complaining. I might have to bump the old report about them...

The Live Action Movie folder on Improbably Female Cast only has a very dubious entry on the 2016 version of Ghostbusters:
"Be honest. As soon as you saw the words "Improbably female cast", you thought of Ghostbusters (2016), didn't you? "
Is this okay? It seems a bit complainy, but I don't want to remove it or comment it out for being complainy just on my own judgement. Especially since it would empty the folder and thus need the folder removed. It is a bit of a big change to the page in that regard. Can I get some more opinions on this, please?
