Also, why are the indicated troperβs actions not a surprise?
^ The troper in question has a history of being suspended for making big page moves unilaterally.
As to whether there was a discussion on the move, not that I can find anywhere. However, I would tend to agree that Public Domain is better off as a Useful Notes.

^^ I felt like I should have been been clearer to what I was asking. Apparently, the unilateral move was the first concern I have before the changing of the dates.
I feel like it should be reverted to the Main namespace before it should be agreed upon that it should be a Useful Note.

I agree that it should be moved back to Main for now. I do think it belongs in Useful Notes, but it should have been done via a "Really a Useful Note" TRS thread. If the backlog is full, it can be added to Tropes Needing TRS.

Yes, this move should have happened as part of a TRS thread, not least because it is unnecessarily focused on American Law and has no mention of Fair Use.

I was gonna ask for Public Domain if what are the criteria for changing the year/date in order to keep up with the increasing number of works from 1923 to later, but then I noticed it was moved to the Useful Notes namespace by (surprise, surprise) Tropers/AHI-3000.
Was there any discussion that UsefulNotes.Public Domain should be moved to Useful Notes because I think the only discussion to moving that was a considered "maybe" from the Discussions page?
