Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help. It's not for everything, though. ...I think you're going to have to be a little more specific.

Who/what is Bethellium?

There's no work or trope or anything linked at Bethellium. If it's a work page you wanna make... well, This Is a Wiki.

I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.

Apparently, it's a furry webcomic.

Anyways: you're certainly allowed to make a page yourself, but we can't work on it "as a community". Most of us don't know what Bethellium is, let alone show interest in it.

Well, since the page doesnt exist, that will be hard.

I dont know what this Bethellium is about, but I can help with grammar and other minor issues. And if its really a furry webcomic, pretty sure I wont read it. Dont take it personal, but I dont like this type of thing.

If you create a good page, maybe I will change my mind.

A little word of advice, speaking as someone who just started wrapping their head around the pagemaking scene a little over a year ago.

Sometimes, a work is a bit obscure to the point that nobody knows of it; That's where someone like you comes in. Even if you're just one guy, you alone have the power to bring some form of recognition to whatever piece of entertainment you want here. It's no cakewalk but it's doable; take it from me.

Here's some tips as to how to approach this:

1. Open a word document or any program; next, look at other pages and their formats, see how they do it. Fix up your page format there. Make sure you enter the page as Webcomic/Bethellium in the link when putting it on this website so that it registers as a webcomic!

2. Start looking at tropes; think hard on what might apply. Usually pages require about...5 tropes? At minimum? For a page to not be considered a stub. At that point, others who read the comic will take wind of the existence of the page and bam; they'll come and add their own stuff. Only issue that could occur is if they aren't familiar with policy but that's something they'll need to learn.

3. See how pages are crosswicked; it's alot simpler than it looks but go to pages like Furry Webcomics and look at the formatting. All it takes is one crosswick and you're good to go!

Now, with that said...I'm looking at the link here, https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Webcomic/Bethellium, and it says it was cut. You may have to get consensus before trying to re-create it; I dunno how that works so that I'm afraid I cannot help you with.

Just adding on to note that there apparently were pages for both the comic and Character pages made, and were edited by the OP at some point, but like Stardust said, they were cut for being stubs.

So I'm wondering if they were made by the OP, cut, and they're attempting to make them again.

But like others said, we don't know anything about this comic, so it's going to be hard to make pages for them when they didn't have context the first time.

One thing OP should consider prior to making the page though... Zub, could you, as a troper, try consulting the Grammar Thread on how the writing process works?

Like, you un-commented a pair of commented out ZCEs without expanding it.

And then, posting another ZCE right here and here.

And also this line which, while lengthy, doesn't explain why the trope fits.

Yeah, before making a page, maybe try to understand how the system works? Please?

If you think you're ready to start the page but still need help, you can request help at the Trope Launch Pad, which despite it's name can be used for works which need more than one person's input on to get started (ignore anyone who says "works pages are a free launch").

A 146 page webcomic should have no problem having enough tropes to make a page for it. Here's one for free to get you started:

  • Written Sound Effect: On the first page, a piece of wood, a bell and a character knocking on a door all have appropriate sound effects.

We have this thread too for new work pages.
