It has been a long time since I've seen anything that had such a vile, unrepentantly evil protagonist and not been aware of it in the slightest.
I've been watching some of Doug's more recent Nostalgia Critic reviews, and I have to say, he really is getting a whole lot better.
More and more, it seems that he's depending less on the whole "reviewer freaking out" thing he codified and more on genuine wit and cleverness.
Anyone else noticing this?
He mentioned in his Bart's Nightmare Commentary that the "Screaming in fustration" doesn't work as a substantial review anymore and that you need more substance other than just rage to make an entertaining review.
Re: Least Worst Disney Movies.
I'm gonna find Cinderalla III and watch it. Still, no matter what Linsey says, Lion King II is still my favorite Direct to Video/DVD disney flick. (Also Fantasia 2000 was an Animated Canon Sequel, you derp'd there.)
Also, I wonder if she used that "Ass" song clip because her boyfriend was most likely replaying it ad nauseam? It makes a whole lotta sense.

I'm having to learn to pay the priceI actually seem to remember that they actually made Ratcliffe actually competent and threatening in Pocahontas II. Then again, I never saw the first one, so that's not really saying much from me.....(My viewing tendencies back then were WEIRD). And Admittedly, the Lion King II and Aladdin: King of Thieves were my favourite Disney sequels, and are decent movies in their own right. Although it was weird how she never brought up how King of Thieves was more or less the plot of The Last Crusade, but, hey! Last Crusade is my favorite Indy movie, so it's fine with me.
A corpse should be left well enough alone...Eh. I'm usually not watching until 9-ish anyway.
I heard that Minecraft's doing the same thing, too. Bleh. Well, at least Steam will be up.
I heard that Facebook might be doing that, as well. Now that would get people to listen. Or riot. Maybe both.
Anyone who assigns themselves loads of character tropes is someone to be worried about.......... who thought of this?
All the social networking sites are doing it to show their support of trashing the bill. Blip will be still working.
Isn't this counter to the entire point about SOPA?
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing."Hey, they're shutting down their sites to show you HOW MUCH BETTER WE ALL ARE WITHOUT SITES THAT USE COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT! Thanks, Websites!"
My thoughts exactly Rhyme
Hey lets fight a bill that will shut us down by...err...shutting us down
" I did the right thing, didn't I? It all worked out in the end." "In the end? Nothing ends, Adrian. Nothing ever ends."How so? It's a strike. They're saying "Imagine a world with all of us gone. You don't even want to go twelve hours." It'll make people get involved, and call their congressman/senator.
If Facebook is in on this, I have a feeling it'll work.

It's not like TGGWTG hasn't been spreading awareness in other ways. I hope TV Tropes doesn't get caught in this nonsense.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.Relax, it's just for 12 hours. I really don't see the big deal.
Bad Wolf's right about the whole "imagine what it would be like" reason. And like I said, you can still go on blip.
Well fuck, i have nothing to do on Wednesday now.
Don't cross the picket line, boy!
Not a boy.
And so using any internet is "crossing the picket line". I thought the point of this was to raise awareness?
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.I was being 100% totally grown up serious in my post. But it does bug me when people complain about activism for a good cause. The internet shutdown isn't just TGWTG, the headliners are Reddit, Mozilla, Wikipedia and Wordpress. And the point of a unified front is, that while one individual's resistance might be less significant, the mass participation should send a message to those who are protested against.
Sopa's been stopped. Isn't it redundant to go through with this stuff again?
PIPA's still around.
...never heard of it.
The Protect Intelectual Property Act. Basically a slightly less insane version of the same bill.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.
"What's really great about this is that it'll end up on the blooper reel and people will get upset that I swear in real life." : D
Unexpected genius. XDDDD
