Recently, accurate Steam Game numbers were leaked.
So how do the South Park games fare, here?
The Stick of Truth: 2,533,584 players. The Fractured But Whole: 320,160 players.
Well, those numbers say it all, don't they? The sequel was a grand flop compared to the first game.

Optimism is a duty.Alternatively, the Stick of Truth has been out for over four years and went through several Steam Sales since.
And Fractured but Whole actually came with a free digital download for Stick of Truth.
Elon Musk was a major donor to the Republicans. I wonder what SP will do with that. He's probably going to be a villain now.
On another note, what do you guys think is the future of this show? Does it have a future? How long will it drag on?
Given how quiet this thread is, I am guessing most of you are getting tired of the show?
Optimism is a duty.As long as the show remains topical and the world retains its current level of fucked-up-ness, I don't think they will run out of ideas any time soon.
I think the thread's quiet less because of lack of interest and more because people are waiting for the new season to start? At least that's the case with me since I don't have the games.
Stupid doomed timeline...this story sounds like the perfect South Park plot.
In September, when the show comes back, Elon Musk is STILL working on his submarine, to save people who have long since been rescued. Maybe he can lure the SP boys into the cave just so he can save them.
Optimism is a duty.Hilarious. I love it.
And as a bonus, anyone who tries to tell him that the rescue mission is long over is met with, "What are you, a pedophile?"
I love to learn, I love to yearn, and most of all... I love to make money.Edited by ZeroDozer on Jul 17th 2018 at 12:21:20 PM
Growing up, it's like a civil war, don't turn away, it's something you can't ignore...They should have Elon making out with his mini sub in a cave which the boys have to rescue him from

Dang it! Those Aliens are gonna try to destroy the Earth again! /jk
What an ominous tagline...
Doubtful. You announce that kinda stuff with a heartfelt letter to your fans, not with a teaser trailer.
So hey, new South Park soon. Damn, I remember a time when I actually cared about that. Ah well, let's see if they can come up with something.
Well, looks like the bullshit around Elon Musk accusing someone of being a pedophile with zero evidence is still going on. I hope South Park picks this up and tears him a new one.
Optimism is a duty.I'm a little confused by the "Handicar" episode.
It makes sense that a ride-sharing service like "Handicar" would take business from Taxi Drivers. It's less clear why "Handicar" would hurt the Hummer salesman. There's a pretty big difference between a " Handicar"customer who wants a ride that one time and a customer at the Hummer dealership who wants to be able to drive themselves whenever they want.
It's like if a Burger King opened in your neighborhood. Of course the Burger King is going to take some business from the local Mac Donald's or Wendy's. The Burger King isn't likely to take too much business away from the local grocery store since fast food restaurants are about preventing hunger for a few hours while you usually go to the grocery store to be able to stock food for at least a couple days
No, Mr. Bunker, "this here" is justiceProbably because it was funny. South Park is not shy about foregoing logic or realism for a joke.
Optimism is a duty.Well, we know what the first Episode is going to be about... The increasingly common School Shooting Problem in the USA.
Is it good or bad Randy is still concerned about his son failing math? You know, besides how depressingly common shootings are? Also last I checked Matt and Trey were pro 2nd Amendment, and they were pissed when Michael Moore misrepresented them in Bowling for Columbine.

I think its an exaggeration of how people tend to shrug off school shootings these days if there are no or only a few victims. There are A LOT of school shootings in the US nowadays, but only the ones with a body count over half a dozen or so even make the national news. I think that's basically the angle they are going for: people getting desensitized to school shootings to the point where it barely registers anymore.
And I would HOPE even pro second amendment Americans would still get concerned about school shootings.
Optimism is a duty. The comments of the video are saying that Butters is going to get grounded and Kenny is going to die, along with guessing who may have done it. Trent Boyett finally gets his revenge? Butters? A ginger kid? Scott Malkinson? Ike? Cartman? Cylde? A 6th grader? The Goth Kids?
Edited by Smasher on Sep 25th 2018 at 11:54:55 AM
Is it bad that Butters getting grounded over something he didn't do and Kenny dying feels like the most cliche of cliches at this point?
If they want to do something really interesting, they'd have Cartman die instead, and have him spend the rest of the season in hell. And leave it up in the air whether or not they'll let him return at the end of it.
Optimism is a duty.> they'd have Cartman die instead, and have him spend the rest of the season in hell.
Hell would be too nice for him, send him to heaven with the Mormons, that's his hell
New theme music also a boxNo, no - make him hang with all the dead Jews.
So Cartman critiquing Black Panther while dressed like Jessica Jones has to be some kind of meta critique of how pervasive the MCU has become, right? All we need now is Stan or Kyle being the Immortal Iron Fist while ragging on the Captain Marvel trailer.
Considering this is coming from a second hand source, as opposed to the man himself, in a tell-all-book rushed out to capitalize on the current Trump frenzy, i'd take some of this with a grain of salt.
As for what Trump actually feels, we can only speculate, but, he said in an interview back in 2009; "Most of the time... I enjoy the receiving more than the having."
What does this translate to? Simple: He did want to win the presidential election, as it would be the biggest boost to his ego ever, but he just didn't want to actually have to do anything that came with the position. Which is kind of a big difference from "didn't want to win".
